De demo is absoluut niet representatief voor het spel.

Precies, de demo doet de game zeker geen eer aan, maar laat me je vertellen GD dat hij zeker 20 euro waard is! Als ik de game al niet had uitgespeeld op m'n pc dan zou ik hem zo kopen!

I'm pretty sure this is my first post, as I just usually use the forums for reading, but wow. I got treated like a king the other night. There was a Gears of War event in Chapel Hill, NC, and I just happen to go to UNC; I got an email stating this was happening and that I should RSVP, so I did promptly. Anyway, we got to the event, and there was an awesome live band there, all the developers ( I got a picture with Cliff, haha), food, orderves, and an Open Bar. But best of all, like 24 Gears of War TVs and Xboxes. We also got a custom t-shirt with our gamertag on it, the big skull on the front, and "Emergence Day 2006," the event was amazing.

My friend and I got one pretty much to ourselves, so it was non-stop action. We played 5 or 6 maps, a few I remember being the mansion, a fuel depot, a place with water and a bridge, a cemetary, and a few others. And yes, the game lives up to the hype. Everything was pretty much fluid, I was worried about a third person shooter, but they were soon put to rest. The whole time we were there the the developers would be like, go in here, go in there, flank them from here, so I got an edge up pretty much the whole time, haha. The levels were amazing too, there was not a single one I didn't like, and they were all pretty small; the one death per game is perfect.

Weapons were awesome as well.. I sniped a guy in the head, and saw his spinal cord popped out. The most memorable one was in the train depot, that was another level I forgot.. anyway, I shot him with the bowcaster, but he put me in the DBNO mode at the same time. I was like... I hope I got that guy; and a few seconds later, his head rolled down the steps, and my team mate picked me up so we could kill some more. The hammer of dawn was amazing too, just hold it at the ground and a huge laser comes out of the sky; but it only works in outdoor areas. I was amazed at this game. By far the best graphics to date on 360.

The whole time we played we only ran into one bug, and that was if two people chainsawed each other at the same time, the winner would freeze and not be able to move. The AI programmer (I forgot his name) said it was running the X'06 build though, and that was already fixed. It was an awesome time, and I can't wait for the next 8 days to pass so I can play it forever. First thing is whether to play online multiplayer or campaign first though. haha. Any questions? I 'll be happy to answer them, we know a lot about this game already though, so shoot.

Ze vind het zelf ook leuk om met haar identiteit online te spelen, en zelf de achievements te halen... Vind ik niet echt een 'oplossing' zeg maar. Wees eerlijk, dit is gewoon erg slecht van Microsoft ...
