Beste lezer,
Het wordt u aangeraden alvorens u begint te scrollen dit eerst te lezen.
Wat u na deze OP zult aantreffen kan door sommigen als onthutsend, ja zelfs als offensief worden ervaren.

Deze uitbarsting is ook ongekend in de [Hardstyle]-reeks!
Wat begon als een lange traditie van HS-lyrics TT's, veranderde [Hardstyle #65] Uit den ouden doosch: Fuck The System! in een 4,5 uur durende tsunami van spam- bash- en oprechte hate-posts.
Natuurlijk wisten we van elkaar dat er iets broeide, met deze reden was er al eerder de woensdag-showtek-bash-dag gecreëerd zodat de woede en de walging toch nog enigszins gecontroleerd geventileerd konden worden. Maar dit was iets natuurlijks ... iets wat er ooit moest komen ...

Het is echter niet alleen kommer & kwel, neen, er zijn ook posts waar op een ludieke en creatieve manier ieders mening wordt gegeven.

Dus schuif de stoel iets aan, ga er lekker voor zitten en geniet van dit legendarische topic, geschreven op een grijze regenachtige dinsdagnamiddag .....................

Welkom in het FOK!-Hardstyle topic. Hèt topic voor alle hardstyle liefhebbers onder ons. Discussiëren over de nieuwste platen, even vertellen wat je van die ene liveset vindt of gewoon lekker ouwehoeren over hardstyle en alles wat er bij komt kijken... hier is het aan de orde van de dag.

Newbies zijn altijd welkom en bij vragen helpen we graag! Er zijn veel ervaren hardstylers in dit topic te vinden dus meestal is er wel iemand die een antwoord heeft.

De hardstyle liefhebbers onder ons


Wat is Hardstyle?
Hardstyle is een muziekgenre dat overeenkomsten vertoont met trance, hardcore en hardtrance. Hardstyle, ook wel hard dance, hard trance of hardbass in het buitenland genoemd, klinkt qua melodie en opbouw ongeveer als de moderne hardcore, maar is vaak ongeveer 30 BPM langzamer.
Het gemiddelde tempo ligt tussen de 140 en de 150 beats per minuut. De sound is karakteristiek voor de stijl en kan omschreven worden als donderende beats gecombineerd met overweldigend enthousiaste melodielijnen.

Veel hardcore-artiesten produceren ook hardstyle tracks, die vergelijkbaar klinken maar toegankelijker zijn. Hardstyle wordt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk vaak gecombineerd met hardhouse. In de rest van de wereld echter vindt men vaker de combinatie met hardtrance of hardcore.

Geschiedenis
Hardstyle is ontstaan uit Duitse, Italiaanse en Nederlandse hardhouse en Rave die zijn vermengd met invloeden van hardtrance en oldschool-hardcore in het jaar 2000. De oorsprong vindt zijn plaats in Nederland, waar de eerste hardstyle evenementen werden gehouden op het einde van 1999, begin 2000.

Eén van de sleutelfiguren in de ontwikkeling van de stijl is Dana van Dreven, ook bekend onder haar dj-alias Dana (DJ Dana). Later volgden meer van haar collega's uit het hardcore-tijdperk zoals Pavo, Darkraver, Luna, Zany en The Prophet.
