Of 'The Slacker Take-Over Plot' deel LIII

Omdat veel topics over indie bandjes nauwelijks lopen, en dus na 7 posts stilvallen, leek het ons een goed idee om een topic te maken waarin "Indie" centraal staat.

Het begrip indie is natuurlijk wat wazig, maar dat mag geen excuus zijn voor enorme zeurpartijen over wat nou wel indie en wat nou niet indie is. Dat is dan ook helemaal NIET de bedoeling. Als je toch per sé een definitie wil, All Music Guide heeft een redelijk uitgebreide op hun site staan.

Dus praat hier wel over obscure bandjes, nieuwe platen, geziene optredens, geef tips en commentaar, als het maar met "indie" te maken heeft!

Ik denk niet dat er veel meer mensen zullen reageren in dat topic dan in dit topic zouden reageren. Ik denk dus dat de mainstream publiek vrij indie zal stemmen.

Elk jaar wordt er een drievoortwaalfsongtopvijf topic geopend... vaak door mij, soms door een ander :)

Ik heb echt maar weinig 2012 materiaal overgehouden na zo'n dikke crash :P Als iemand dit lijstje ziet en iets weet wat ik sowieso moet checken kom maar op met de suggesties :)

Het album van Ben Caplan komt toch uit 2011?

Uit jouw lijstje zie ik geen echte must-haves. Alt-J is even een hype geweest, op zich wel terecht, want het is muziek met een fijne twist. The Shins hebben weer een aardig album gemaakt, niets mis mee.

Probeer ook ff het nieuwe album van Asaf Avidan. Mijn nummer 1 van 2012 tot nu toe.
Verder hebben deze lui goede albums afgeleverd dit jaar: o.a. Heartless Bastards, Ramona Falls, Balthazar, Mick Flannery, dEUS, Perfume Genius, Menomena, Shearwater,.....

20 oktober 2011, dus hij is uitgekomen in 2012. Klinkt logisch :P

Daarbij, als een album uit is, is-ie uit. De Nederlandse release is meestal maaaanden later, helemaal bij de onbekendere artiesten.
