If it was just about the games, Sony would've been much better off just shipping with DVD - they could've very possibly have "Dreamcast"ed the 360, causing it to launch still-borne. But its not about the games - its about the media format."

September 21, 2006 - Sony's got a bunch of PS3 games on display here at TGS, from launch titles to games that aren't due out for another two years. We've done some reasearch (actually, we just checked the official TGS booklet) and learned just how far along the games are at this point.

Here is a listing of percentage completions for PS3 TGS titles. We haven't listed the games that have a "?" percentage.

Virtua Fighter 5: 70%
Sega Golf Club: 70%
Sonic the Hedgehog 3: 75%
Armored Core 4: 80%
Coded Arms Assault: 50%
Ridge Racer 7: 100%
Gundam Target in Sight: 80%
Gran Turismo HD: 50%
Warhawk: 50%
Unknown Realm: 30%
LAIR: 35%
Motorstorm: 60%
The Eye of Judgment: 70%
Genji: 70%
Resistance: 85%
Minna no Golf 5: 30%
Heavenly Sword: 65%

It should be clear which of these games is going to launch with the system, and which will likely keep us waiting. Ridge Racer 7, for instance, is already complete! Minna no Golf (aka Hot Shots Golf) on the other hand, looks like it won't be making it out at launch.

Toch blijft het een beetje moeilijk vergelijken omdat die camera standpunten heel anders zijn van de 2005 trailer. Maar ik vind wel dat ze toch aardig in de buurt komen. Ok die trailer van 2005 had belachelijk veel detail erin, maar ik kan iedergeval zien dat het dezelfde game is . En dit is pas eerste generatie voor de PS3, wie weet dat ze over een paar jaar toch wel echt heel dicht in de buurt kunnen komen.
