The Class of 2008 of the International School of Aruba graduated this week and enjoyed a special celebration with family members and friends in attendance at Silvia’s Gardens. The graduating class included David Brown, Giancarlos Calabrese, Gianni Ferarra, Julian Molina, Maki Wiggins, Marc Anthony Richardson, Osbaldi Boekhoudt, Valentijn van de Sloot and Zeus Zambrano.

Special honor went to Valentijn van der Sloot who received the USA President’s Education Award honoring him as top scholar. He was also recognized by the school for achievement of outstanding SAT scores.

Maki Wiggins was the recipient of the Headmaster’s Cup, ISA’s top scholastic honor for embodying the spirit of education and learning at ISA.

Both honor students are heading for Emerson College in Boston for their continued education in the field of communication and performing arts

without his kidnapping nor his transportation to VENEZUELA ever being detected by any ARUBAN authorities.

FERRARA was forcibly freed on 4-22-98, and 38 people were arrested.

ORANJESTAD - The security company with 130 employees VCB Security is bankrupt in all likelihood by fraud committed by the owner himself. It alleges the former director Suan Sweetnam in a letter to all those involved directly or minister in which he argues that owner William Cromvoirt money from customers has improperly spent. "We're talking about millions of tons welgezegd who have disappeared from the treasury," said Sweetnam.

He is also the same person who went on record saying he saw Natalee with Cocaine!

It's also no coincidence that it was Gerald Dompig who obstructed Justice when in the very beginning he demanded that the Van Der Sloots have privacy and that the home not be searched(Judge Wit Bon Dia Article)
One can only assume that Dompig killed the Investigation to protect his relatives.

moet je voorstellen 70 personen lopen om 1:15 buiten rond CNC , zoveel taxi's zijn er niet gelijk om iedereen af te voeren dus ze lopen wat rond. dus moeten ze wel iets gezien hebben, het enige wat bij mij opkomt dat het allemaal niet klopt is omdat niemand zich wat aantrok van de ander ze waren druk bezig met hunzelf. dat heb je wel meer als je dronken bent. let je niet op de omgeving, maar hoop je dat je zelf goed thuis komt.

ik hou het op de paar feiten die we denken te weten. zo snap ik niet de opname van het verlaten van deepak's auto , waarom daar geen datum en tijd ingebrandt is ??? de jongens gingen wel vaker naar CNC stonden ook vaker achter CNC geparkeert. zonder datum en tijd kan het echt elke dag zijn. ook snap ik niet dat ze maar een keer gefilmd zijn. kortom het klopt niet. eigenlijk is het met alle feiten zo er is nergens door backup feiten aantoonbaar dat iets zo gebeurt is.

wie o wie heefy er een lijst van al die americaanse studenten die op die trip zijn mee gegaan ??
er worden zoveel theorieen door jan en alleman op internet gezet , maar gewoon simpele feiten die niemand kwaad doen worden nooit gecheckt ????

heeft nou nooit iemand het idee gehad ze allemaal eens te vermoemen en dan erachter te vermelden waar ze 31-05-2005 dan wel niet waren ? de helft valt waarschijnlijk zo af , die waren niet eens op stap in oranjestad maar hadden lol in het hotel. een aantal zijn wel geweest maar waren al terug voor sluitingstijd CNC, weer een andere groep zal wel bij choose a name zijn geweest enz,enz

NU wordt er telkens van een kant bekeken, wie zag wat, maar je kan ook kijken wie kan absoluut niets gezien hebben volgens mij hou je dan een groep over die wel uitgeweest is naar CNC maar nooit in de openbaarheid is getreden , daaronder MOET dan de jongen en de groep zijn die natalee probeerde uit de auto te halen zitten.

hebben alle studenten een verklaring afgelegd bij de FBI, zo niet waarom niet ??
waarom zouden sommige niet willen meewerken aan het onderzoek naar natalee's verdwijning ??

ik persoonlijk vind het vreemd dat we maar een of twee verklaringen hebben van studenten die zeggen nee ik heb eigenlijk nataee de hele trip niet gezien of gesproken, dat horen er zo'n 70 te zijn !! het is natuurlijk niet intressant dit te lezen maar hoort wel tot je onderzoek en waarom niet vrij geven van zulke gegevens ?? de americanen hebben een grootte mond door testellen aruba houdt dingen achter en zijn corrupt en weet ik veel wat meer. maar waarom doet je jet zelf dan ook ???

elke onthulling van deze orde zou voor het kamp van der sloot gewe;dig nieuws zijn. dat joran en deepak /satisch in hun verklaringen het zelf hier over hebben , tja dat is zoals joran dat zo mooi kan zeggen . gewoon een leugen geweest en onder druk van maanden verhoor verklaard.

Moeder Joran van der Sloot: ‘Ze hebben een monster van hem gemaakt’

(12-8-2008) De moeder van Joran van der Sloot, die nog altijd hoofdverdachte is in de zaak van de verdwenen Amerikaanse tiener Natalee Holoway op Aruba, vindt dat de media van haar zoon een monster hebben gemaakt!


In het septembernummer van Red, dat in het teken staat van ‘een nieuwe start’, praat Anita van der Sloot voor het eerst openhartig over hoe de zaak Holloway haar leven heeft beïnvloed.

Zo zegt ze: “Het niet meer kunnen functioneren als een gewoon gezin, de leugens die over ons verteld zijn. Dat heeft het meest verdriet veroorzaakt, samen met het gedrag van Joran. Ik was boos op hem omdat hij gelogen heeft.”

“Ik heb geen moment gedacht dat Joran een verkrachter of een moordenaar zou zijn. Maar ik heb wel eventjes gedacht: zou er een ongeluk gebeurd zijn, dat hij dat niet durft te vertellen? Ik weet dat hij gelogen heeft omdat hij bang was dat zijn afstudeerfeestje anders niet zou plaatsvinden. Dat hij niet wilde dat zijn vriendinnetje wist dat hij die nacht op pad was geweest.”

“Er is een soort monster van hem gemaakt. Het heeft niets meer met de werkelijkheid te maken. En dat is alleen maar erger geworden, want deze zaak trekt hele rare mensen aan.”

“Tuurlijk bied je als ouders hulp aan, maar op een gegeven moment zeg je: Joran is bijna 21, hij moet verder. Wíj moeten verder. Je neemt er een soort afstand van”


de dag dat joran 21 wordt en niet meer onder de afdak van vaders woont , zal joran te meer achterkomen dat het leven als leugenaar toch naar kan verlopen ben benieuwd welke criminele organisatie wel wat ziet in joran's capaciteiten.

de ouders van joran zijn bijna van joran verlost , en ik denk haast dit te lezen in wat anita in het artikel verwoord. de dag dat joran 21 wordt is een verlossing voor de familie denk ik . de opvoeding van joran is gewoon mislukt nu ingrijpen heeft geen zin meer of valetijn dezelfde kant op gaat ? ach dat overkomt geen familie twee keer, anders meisje pas maar heel goed op en vrees voor je leven als je een van der sloot date . natuurlijk is paul van der sloot hierin betrokken alleen het bewijzen dat is het hele punt, dat verklaart ook dat hij geen rechter meer geworden is, een papiertje van goed gedrag ontbreekt , paul van der sloot is in aanraking geweest met politie, weg papiertje

kortom laat de familie van der sloot er langzaam zelf maar achter komen wat ze verkeert doen, ze hebben een monster groot gebracht, de media heeft het alleen bloot gelegd. het bekende schiet de boodschapper van het slechte nieuws niet dood . verder geloof ik dat deze zaak ooit nog wel opgelost wordt, er zijn nu nog te veel mensen die er belang bij hebben dat het onopgelost blijft , maar eens zullen die banden er niet meer toe doen, bijvoorbeeld omdat iemand dood gaat die wat heeft op de ander. de kalpoes zullen ooit vrij kunnen pratenals ze onschuldig zijn, nu is er een slot op door joran en zijn vader. als ergens een gat komt in het elkaar dekken , valt alles uit elkaar en zullen we weten hoe vies dit zaakje in elkaar stak,wie het lichaam van natalee heeft laten verdwijnen in opdracht van joran/zijn vader als wederdienst voor ....

het volgende is raar toch volgens anita van der sloot ::

joran zou gelogen hebben omdat hij bang was zijn afstudeerfeestje anders niet doorging ??? ben ik nou gek maar wanneer is het achterlaten van een meisje op strand omdat ze zelf niet terug wilde een rede ? of heeft anita het over een andere leugen , en wie zou joran dat feestje dan moeten ontzeggen ???. wat mij normaal lijkt is het volgende omdat joran toch uitging terwijl hij niet mocht van zijn vader lijkt mij een rede. maar joran liegt niet over het feit dathij toch uitging dus..... is hij nu wel of niet gestraft en heeft hij nu wel of niet een afstudeerfeestje gehad ???

het tweede punt is nog vreemder. hij sms zijn vriendin juist die nacht en zij sms terug, dus zijn vriendin wist het al, je kan hoogstens dat proberen te verhullen dat je geen sex met natalee had tegen over je vriendin. maar dat is juist waar joran zo over opschepte zelf tegenover de familie holloway, hoe lekker natalee wel hem verwende.

kortom anita van der sloot geloof in jezelf en hou jezelf voor de gek , maar dit zijn niet de reden waarom joran een eventuele ongeluk zou verzwijgen. het zou juist een reden zijn om joran te prijzen. joran heeft toch maar weer een americaans meisje gered van de dood toen hij samen met haar was op een verlaten strand, hij heeft snel het alarmnummer gebelt. dat is naast een afstudeerfeestje ook nog iets om als held in de krant te komen.

volgens mij heeft joran foute genen gekregen van zowel anita als paul , want ik snap hun denk partoon totaal niet. maar dat kan aan mij liggen

Echter de familie Uncapher heeft een huis op het eiland en Haleigh is er dan ook meerdere malen per jaar te vinden. Jammer voor de aapjes, maar kennelijk is niet iedereen binnen de 'Holloway vriendenclub' de mening toegedaan dat een boycot noodzakelijk is.

Ik ben bang dat Haleigh niet meer op de jaarlijkse BBQ van de bange apen wordt uitgenodigd :-)

CLOTHES WERE WET
The witness continued to declare (and proved with his test that he was telling the truth) that the man he saw had on wet clothes, and had a notable stripe of muddy waters that reached to his chest, about 5 centimeters more or less over his flannel.
The stripe on his flannel showed clearly that from the muddy waters going down his clothes were completely wet.
At first the witness thought that this person had beenin a fight and ran away so as not to receive any more blows. The side of his face that the witness noticed, however, did not show any signs of blood or blows. But, due to the fact that the person did not once look over his shoulder to check if anyone was following him, and continued to walk with his head down and, with accelerated velocity, the witness thought that he was involved in something else and not in a fight.
The person continued to walk in front of his house until he lost him from sight, and in no instance did the man look up or back, and continued to walk in the direction of the hotels.
All this happened in about 1 minute.
After he lost the person from sight, the witness sat in his living room for about 15 to 20 minutes before he went back to sleep.

DIARIO COMMENT: Here something else happened, that the witness did not reveal to the local authorities, but well to the American investigators. In our next publication DIARIO will reveal what else the witness saw that eventful morning. The Polygraph test he took proved that here too he was telling the truth!)

Mention is made that, according to one or more official reports of the phone tap and also the declaration of Paul van der Sloot himself, that Paul fetched Joran and Natalee at McDonald and took them to the Holiday Inn. BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Oh -- oh, it`s a very critical detail. And the night that we arrived on the island -- you know, Jug does not misinterpret a 4:00 AM time pickup to 11:00 PM. I mean, Paulus Van Der Sloot stated that he picked them up up at 4:00 AM on May the 30th. Then -- we don`t know who they were, but then even as far as June 16 and June 17, Mr. Van Der Sloot was still stating this 4:00 AM pickup. Only until around -- maybe it was when he was picked up or arrested did he change it to 11:00 PM that I had knowledge of.

I'm in Mountain Brook and from the people who have recently returned from Aruba is that Van der Sloot's dad was seen at a McDonald's at 3 a.m. the night Natalee disappeared.

I don't think this has been reported in the mainstream media so hopefully this will help those of of you who are following this closely. This is my first post here and I'm posting something I think all of you might find significant.

Natalee goes missing at about 1 to 1:30 a.m. and the Van der Sloot's dad is seen at a McDonalds at 3a.m. I assume the dad has a job and would have to be at work the next day. There to me it is very suspicious.......

In early June 2005 there was a witness who came forward and said he helped bury Natalee with two others using a tarp,white Pu and buried her in a shallow grave with two others. One of the helpers worked at the Marriott. This witness was then locked up in a Mental Hospital in Aruba. The Archives still should be at RWV as well as a tourist who witnessed this from her/his window.

MANSUR: Yes, ma`am, because there`s another witness that, before that, told someone that works at the hotels that he saw a white pick-up over there by the Holiday Inn, in which three persons were also in, all of them male, carrying what looked like the body of a girl, putting it in the back of the white pick-up and driving away with it.

GRACE: OK. So you`ve got a white pick-up at the Holiday Inn, where Natalee was staying. You`ve got a white pick-up at the landfill. Both eyewitnesses state that there were three individuals, I`m assuming male. But can they give an identification of Joran Van Der Sloot or the Kalpoe brothers?

MANSUR: None of them have given that kind of a description. They haven`t identified the three males. But it`s very important to note that the witness on the beach by the Holiday Inn has absolutely no knowledge of the witness over there to the east side of the island by the landfill or dump. They don't know each other, but still they give the same description of the same white pick-up.

The witness by the landfill tells us that he was sitting in his car and he saw a white pick-up truck drive in, their were 3 occupants and 2 of them got out. Picked up a trash can plastic bag, the black ones, the big ones and they carried it over to where this whole bunch of other bags and rubble was. Now when they were doing that, he says that some blond hair fell out of the bag because the bag was not properly sealed and that he could see parts of human body and then he saw them dig a little among the rubble that was there already and then place this bag there then covered with some other near by lying bags and then put a small pool, plastic pool that babies swim in or bathe in on top of it and then put some more stuff and then walked away. He also told us that there was another car outside of the cyclone fence, looking on. The man in that car stepped out, he stood by the fence and looked at the whole proceeding's. We do believe him because from the beginning he has been reliable with his story and it does fit the description we got from another witness between the Holiday Inn and the Marriott Hotel.

The letter that we received is from the wife of the person with whom this guy was on the beach with between the Holiday Inn and Marriott wrote us because she was getting a annoyed that no one was paying attention to the declaration that this man gave to her husband at the hotel.

I will read it for you... The day after Natalee was missing a person called Barbeshe (Bar-Be-she) told a story that the night before he saw 3 people in front of the Holiday Inn with a girl's body. That they tried to take a towel from one the "walks fence's" (really hard to understand him here - sounds like he says "water sports dance or fence") to wrap the body and they could not get it down. Then one of them went to the garbage cans at the Holiday Inn and pulled the bags out and wrapped the body, then put her in the white pick-up and left. They went out and turned left towards the lighthouse and turned off on a dirt road and dug a hole and put her in it and threw out the shovel. He also said he told the police and they sent him on a 4 wheeler to try and find, locate the spot and he had been threatened by these people. This person has been seen on the beach everyday has no longer been seen after this and was known to be there daily.

CANDIOTTI: Well, according to sources familiar with the investigation, at least one witness has come forward who claims to have seen more than one person dumping what the witness says could have been a body. The body was, I am told, covered in some fashion, and that this happened at a public landfill not long before closing time. Now, when this happened, sources close to the investigation would not tell me exactly when this happened. But again, it was close to closing time. And this is a landfill where the public can go and dispose of waste. Now, this same witness claims to have told police that he saw a vehicle and was able to provide a tag number to police. In addition to the pond, Trump said authorities are searching a landfill for the third time since a witness came forward shortly after Holloway disappeared. Trump said that authorities did not want to leave any stone unturned.

The witness claimed he saw more than one person dump into the landfill something he believes could have been a covered body, CNN has learned from sources briefed on the investigation. The witness also gave police a license tag number that reportedly belonged to a white pickup truck.

Police tell CNN that a tag check found that the vehicle was not at the landfill at or around the time the witness claimed.

A local young person was the one who tipped regarding the body in the landfill. This person saw that on 2 days after Natalee was reported missing he saw some guys take out a large garbage with a stiff body.

As they took the body out, the wind blew the bag open and in it he
saw that a body was laying stiff on a blue beach bed and the legs were crossed on to the other and he saw long blond hair.

This car was a light coloured truck, he took the number plate and reported this to the authorities. They found out that this car belonged to a POLICE auth. He was driving around with a towel with the blood on it,
but they never cared for his story!!.

He said that yesterday US media went to his house, but he refused to give any reports. He said tomorrow he will give an interv. with Canal 90
local radio, afterwards to US media..

The witness claimed he saw the men dumping the body on the afternoon of June 1, said Tim Miller, director of Texas EquuSearch, which is coordinating the landfill search.

The FBI and Aruban police have questioned the witness, an Aruban man who claimed to be dropping off trash at the time, Miller said.

"He said he saw a face, blond hair and a woman's chest, and that the body was dumped and covered," Miller said. "His story has been consistent."

The witness could not identify the men but said they were driving a light colored jeep, Miller said. The witness told his brother what he saw soon afterward, and the brother told police, he said.

JUNIOR: There were three who came before in a pickup truck. Then one was already there on the field. Then this other man and a woman along with two gentlemen in the back came. Yes, there was a woman--a woman who was brunette. There were two men in the back on the Jeep; also, there was a yellow car there.

VAN SUSTEREN: What time of day?

JUNIOR: This happened, well, at the time I saw them bury her it turns out that was the body of Natalee, the girl. At that time I thought it was just a tree--a coconut tree. That is what I thought. She was wrapped in plastic--covered in plastic--but there was a breeze and the bag sort of fell half way off and I saw half the body naked. It was a black plastic bag, and the woman was wearing no clothes. She had no clothes on. She was naked, just half her body I saw. I was by myself at that time at the place where we dump the garbage. How far? I was approximately seventy-five to eighty meters away. This was afternoon--4:30, 5:30--between 4:30 and 5:30. I, I felt there was something wrong, but more people kept coming from nearby. There was another car with a woman. The yellow car had a woman there, too, so, I thought there was nothing? Total, there were three cars; the pickup with the small trailer in the back, then there was a Jeep, and a yellow station wagon.

VAN SUSTEREN: When did he first call anybody about it?

JUNIOR: I called the Police, ?that was? that happened on Monday or Sunday because at that time the picture of the guys they were looking for had not been published in the paper yet. That is right. And then I recognized them immediately when I saw the picture. I felt--one day later I called the Police. I was saying, you know, you just want to call, and call, and call, and call--day and night--I kept calling but I kept getting a tape.

VAN SUSTEREN: What is his level of certainty?

JUNIOR: Am I certain? Yes, I am really sure. That is why I think, today, ?I?m sure, I?m sure. I have no doubt in my mind.? Yes. Also the father, I believe, yes, yes. Also him. I was even more sure it was this girl because now there were two cars. The Police have two cars--the red Jeep, which? I saw that. I saw that because the red Jeep was fine, but that came later, that was the next day. I was near the place where she was buried--may she rest in peace. I was there, maybe, nine days later.
VAN SUSTEREN: If there were three, does the father make four, or, is the father one of the three?

JUNIOR: The father came in the Jeep. He got out of the car. He was standing there and he was pointing and asking things. I was working, you know, but he was far and he was talking. I was just working and looking. He kept asking if everything was okay. Yes, they asked him. I thought that they were asking him, that is what I thought they were doing, asking him, ?Where? Where??
VAN SUSTEREN: Have the Police interviewed him [JUNIOR; my insertion] yet?

JUNIOR: The Police they have come to me and I pointed them to the place and they went for my message but never got it. They did not come back. This was in my mind and kept bothering me. I said this all to a friend of mine who lives nearby. I told her what happened and I said, "No one believes me."

VAN SUSTEREN: What, exactly, did he see of the body?
JUNIOR: Half body. I saw half the body and the hair flying in the wind--blowing in the wind. Then I was for sure because had it have been a coconut tree, then we would have seen the roots of it. You could see that, you know, it would move, but her hair was blowing. I saw half her body and it was naked. She was like this (demonstrating posture), with her legs like this.

O'REILLY: In the "Back of the Book" segment tonight, let's go back to Aruba, where investigative reporter Dilma Arends is standing by. Ms. Arends works for "Bon Dia" newspaper on the island.

I wanted to get a local journalist's point of view here, Ms. Arends, on the events thus far. A lot of us here in the United States feel that the Aruban authorities aren't going to convict anybody in this case. How do you see it?

DILMA ARENDS, INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER FOR ARUBAN NEWSPAPER: Well, we see it differently, because we know the system here and we understand it, too.

The authorities, I -- they won't give out what they have. I mean, there's been leaks. For instance, our paper today published some -- some corroboration to what the prosecutor has been saying. And for instance, they're using the cell sites to determine the movements of the three boys.

And by using the cell sites and the batteries of the cell phones of the boys, they were able to determine, for instance, that Joran got home at 4 p.m. -- sorry, 4 a.m. And they also figured out, by using the signals of the battery of the cell phone, that Deepak, indeed, went home but left his house again and was -- was in the area near the Marriott.
So I think they have more -- more proof or more indication than they're telling us.

O'REILLY: Do you believe it strange the Kalpoe brothers are out of jail?

ARENDS: Not really, because when the judge of instruction (ph) reviewed their case, that revision is very, very thorough. It's not surprising that everything was upheld from the previous case.

O'REILLY: Do you believe that it's cruel to the Holloway family for the Aruban government not to really let them in on some facets of the investigation? You know, what you just told us makes a difference to the Holloways -- I'm sure they'll hear it -- because it gives them some hope.

ARENDS: Well, the thing is, again, as has been explained before, if this case goes to court and the judge finds out that some information has been leaked out and the case could be damaged, it could be thrown out based out on technicality. And that's one thing that the prosecution really doesn't want to do.

O'REILLY: Yes, but I mean, I looked at your criminal statutes. And if there's a private attorney who gets access to information and delivers that information, there is no threat of that happening at all. You know that.

ARENDS: Yes, but we also know how reporters are. And we tend to pry. And the Holloways and Twitties have been on all these American shows, and they've been asked and asked, and something can slip and can damage the case.

O'REILLY: All right. I don't quite see it the way that you do. I think that there can be a way to get information to the family that's not going to damage the case or cause anything to be thrown out on a technicality. I believe that it's more convenient for the Aruban government and the authorities there to keep everything locked down.

I'll give you the last word.

ARENDS: Well, convenient, yes, it is convenient to their case, because they have a huge responsibility. It's not only, I mean, of course the emotional part is very heavy, and it is on -- for the part of the family. I mean, it's been six weeks and I mean, everybody acknowledges that.

However, the responsibility is on the shoulders of the investigative team and the prosecution. And they also have to respond to the community for Aruba who has been bearing this all. I mean, we've been suffering, too. Perhaps not to the extent of the emotional part of the family, but we certainly have been in the eye of the storm.

O'REILLY: All right. Ms. Arends, thanks very much. We appreciate your point of view. Thanks for coming on "The Factor."

More on the landfill witness and is his story more credible now that he said there was MUD on the deceased Natalee?

On August 3, 2005 a man whose first name is RAOUL stated to FOX News that he is a good friend of the landfill witness (who wants to remain anonymous), and the two men worked together about 4 years ago. RAOUL stated the landfill witness is married and stable, and is an illegal alien. RAOUL stated the landfill witness is not crazy and believes very strongly what he saw. After RAOUL learned about his friend seeing the woman?s buried body and the landfill witness saying he was only reaching an ARUBAN Police answering machine, RAOUL said he kept urging the landfill witness to keep phoning the ARUBAN Police, which the landfill witness did. The same day he saw Prime Suspect JORAN VAN DER SLOOT, Current Suspect DEEPAK KALPOE, and Current Suspect SATISH KALPOE bury the blonde-haired nude woman in the landfill he also saw all 3 Suspects being shown on TV. When he saw them on TV he phoned the ARUBAN Police and told them he had seen the 3 suspects shown on TV at the landfill burying a woman?s body, but the ARUBAN Police did not go to the landfill and check for a body right away. RAOUL said when the landfill witness saw the 3 Suspects they had a shovel, they used the shovel to remove the ?sand? in the landfill and they dug the hole. It was windy, and at one point the wind blew open the black garbage bag the woman?s body was in and he could see about half of her nude body and blonde hair. RAOUL stated, "He see the half the body and I told you the hair was muddy and the skin was like purple. They then buried the woman, then covered her up with the ?sand,? and afterwards they put the blue kiddie pool over where they buried her body. RAOUL stated that on the day Prime Suspect JORAN VAN DER SLOOT, Current Suspect DEEPAK KALPOE, and Current Suspect SATISH KALPOE buried the woman?s body they did not need a permit to enter the landfill, so the white truck they drove just entered the landfill. The landfill witness even told the landfill manager about the buried body and urged him not to disturb or drive a bulldozer over the area where the body was so the ARUBAN Police could find the body when they came to the landfill.

Hello Bastibro!

There were several people who saw this white PU,from what I recall the Landfill witness gave them the tag number and they said that belonged to a Malibu. They also said the Truck was issued to the police and was not in the area that day. If it was a police truck that would be very interesting! This all happened in the very beginning and addition to those people I listed above there was also a tourist who saw the same thing,she posted several times about this at RWV back in 2005. They all reported very similar details and there is still the report of a lady screaming by the Marriott who was put in a white PU. I seriously doubt all of these people made up these events to collaborate with one another,I believe there is some truth here and it's very important to solving the case.

There was a witness named Fransisco who said he helped bury Natalee with two others using a white PU,one of the others worked at the Marriott. He was locked up in a Mental Hospital but I have no idea where he is now. Art wood interviewed this Fransisco two times and his friends said he was not crazy. There are two Fransisco's interviewed on 6-5,6-8 and 6-10-05..He may be one of them I am not sure. This was also witnessed by a fisherman named Barbashe.

You mentioned a Colombian guy who dissapeared? Sergio Gomez? I dont know what ever happened to that guy as they found his truck abandoned,it was in the papers the same time that Rene Van Heyningen was murdered at the Govt Cemetary.

We saw that Dompig said he believes Natalee was moved possibly several times and I concur. I dont know if she was in the landfill or the shallow grave and If she was I feel she was moved. No clue where that may be but there are two more witnesses that may have some clues to that.

Art wood also interviewed a backhoe operater who he found extremely credible. Apparently he did some work for PVDS shortly after NH dissapeared,I suppose he used his backhoe prior to PVDS pouring concrete for the work around the pool. I know this Info was one of the reasons the KLPD searched the VDS property last year. Art just said this man was extremely nervous but credible. The search at the VDS home seemed to be focused on the garden as they used those long rods for soil samples. What is interesting is in Peter De Vries first broadcast he told us the ALE thought that Natalee may have died in the garden.

There is a witness named Maria who the Diario Newspaper printed a article on a few months ago. Apparently her relative was a PVDS handyman and she claims he poured concrete for PVDS after NH dissapeared. Shortly after that he dissapeared and was never seen again,she feels he was murdered. Apparently he was a colombian man also. If she is truthfull then I think its possible Natalee was buried somewhere on that island with concrete on top of her.

From the very beginning I have always thought this WHite PU and the Marriott were major clues in this case and if it is true that Deepaks cell phone pinged around the Marriott after 3-4AM then I think it supports this evidence.

Hi Bastibro,

I really enjoy reading your posts here and never giving up on your quest for finding the truth.

Last time I saw him bring up Fransisco was in BFN chat and he didnt say much at all. Only that he talked to his friends and they said he was not crazy and that he interviewed him twice. I don't know what he really thinks,but after looking at all the info there is no question this White PU and the witnesses need to be looked at and I think they are very important. This Fransisco was locked up pretty quickly after he went to the ALE and told them what he did. I never heard too many other details,like who was his friend from the Marriott and were they paid? Who drove the truck? Did they give the same location as the Barbashe? Are they the three sweaty males that were spotted with a shovel digging? Was it the shallow grave that was found? Ill see if I can find out more on this....I do know that Art Wood thought the Backhoe operater was absolutely credible and his info was partly why they searched the VDS home in 2007.

This White PU etc was talked about very early in the case and very rarely brought up since then. When I have time I will also look for a American who was staying at the Marriott that night that saw the same things. I think his wife or GF was blogging at RWV and swears he saw the same thing from his hotel window. That Barbashe,Fransisco and Raoul very well may be key witnesses to Natalee's first burial.

From what I recall this Maid later called into the Radio station to report this..I think the DJ was Edmond Croes. Maybe Magic 95?

A Woman reported that on May 30, 2005 at about 3:00 AM a maid at the “Marriott Hotel” and a couple of “Marriott Hotel” guests heard a scream(s?), then shortly thereafter witnessed a woman being forced into a white SUV by “two dark skinned men." The maid then contacted the “Marriott Hotel” security, and they, in turn, contacted the ARUBAN Police.
Some persons on the island with radio Police scanners have been said to have overheard the ARUBAN Police dispatches being made for ARUBAN Police patrolman be on the lookout for the white pickup truck--possibly made by “Toyota,” but, apparently, nothing ever came of this.

MANSUR: Yes, ma`am, because there`s another witness that, before that, told someone that works at the hotel that he saw a white pick-up over there by the Holiday Inn, in which three persons were also in, all of them male, carrying what looked like the body of a girl, putting it in the back of the white pick-up and driving away with it.

GRACE: OK. So you`ve got a white pick-up at the Holiday Inn, where Natalee was staying. You`ve got a white pick-up at the landfill. Both eyewitnesses state that there were three individuals, I`m assuming male. But can they give an identification of Joran Van Der Sloot or the Kalpoe brothers?

MANSUR: None of them have given that kind of a description. They haven`t identified the three males. But it`s very important to note that the witness on the beach by the Holiday Inn has absolutely no knowledge of the witness over there to the east side of the island by the landfill or dump. They don't know each other, but still they give the same description of the same white pick-up.

Hi Bastibro..Yes I hope this leads to a smoking gun as well..If they really wanted to solve the case they would act on this info..Unfortunately I have yet to see them follow through on anything that is important in this case in a long time. They know PVDS was out and about at 4AM and they knew this in June 2005 I could care less if he's a kind and gentle man to the Aruban Govt,he needs to be in handcuffs for his role in Natalees dissapearance.

Toch zou het mooi zijn wanneer dit goed wordt uitgezocht en niet, zoals Mos schijnt te doen, metteen maar naar het land der fabelen wordt verwezen.
Ik heb zowieso de indruk dat ze een aantal getuigen gewoon niet serieus hebben genomen. Het blijkt uit een aantal stukjes die ik hierover heb gelezen.De vraag waarom doet je al snel denken dat ze de waarheid juist wilden verhullen helaas.

We know Art Wood interviewed a backhoe operater who he thought was credible and it led to the search of the VDS home last year. From what I understood he did work for PVDS around the pool right after Natalee went missing. He was very nervous when interviewed but said he did not pour the concrete..

Art Wood: "I interviewed an Aruban Backhoe operator who said that he dug the new patio area where PVS poured concrete around the time that Natalee disappeared".."I think that it is one of the areas that was searched by the Dutch last year"

This witness Maria claims a relative of hers(Handyman for PVDS) helped PVDS pour concrete after NH dissapeared and since then has never been seen again. They also mention a stationwagon and she claims NH was buried on land and not the sea. Was the stationwagon yellow like what the landill witness described? I think its important to look at all the info in this case especially those that details match up. Many of these people are scared to come forward and I do not blame them. The puzzle is becoming quite clear for me..

Now there is that other story out there from Aruba's fm95 radio station that there is a witness that saw Natalee and Joran at the Marriott and that Joran left and Deepak returned to the hotel for something.
I wonder if this is the witness that the person at the radio person was referring to and I wonder if the decapitation was a message to her.

On Natalee's Yahoo forum there there is a report that a helicopter is searching Santa Lucia area because according to the cell phone records of one of the three suspects there was a call in the Santa Lucia area at 6:30 am the morning Natalee was to have met up with the group to leave for airport.

AMSTERDAM - Een nieuwe, mogelijk belangrijke getuige in de zaak van Natalee Holloway heeft in de VS verklaard dat hij vader Paul van der Sloot en zoon Joran in de nacht van de verdwijning onder verdachte omstandigheden samen zag. Het openbaar ministerie op Aruba wil die verklaring zo snel mogelijk bij het onderzoek betrekken.

De verklaring is strijdig met die van de vader en de zoon, die stellen dat zij die avond geen contact hebben gehad. Volgens officier van justitie Hans Mos is de verklaring al in maart van dit jaar afgelegd. "De man werd gehoord door een particulier recherchebureau. Daarbij is hij onder meer onderworpen aan een test met een polygraaf, een leugendetector."

De getuige zag op de avond van de verdwijning eerst een jongeman langs zijn huis lopen. Het viel hem op dat hij maar één schoen droeg en een modderig shirt aan had. Vervolgens passeerde een rode terreinwagen, met een man van middelbare leeftijd. Hij herkende hen als Joran en Paul van der Sloot.

Meertje

Beiden kwamen uit de richting van het hotel waar Natalee Holloway verdween. Het tweetal zou vervolgens naar een meertje zijn gegaan, Montserrat Pont. Dit meertje is eerder door de politie onderzocht op mogelijke sporen. Hoewel daarbij met sonar werd gezocht, zijn geen sporen van een menselijk lichaam gevonden.

Mos: "Deze getuige heeft dingen verklaard die hij eerder niet naar voren heeft gebracht. Ook is een aantal zaken strijdig met een eerdere lezing tegenover de politie. Ik heb de verklaring in zijn geheel opgevraagd, maar tot op heden heb ik hem nog niet ontvangen." Volgens de getuige zou hij politie en justitie niet volledig geïnformeerd hebben, omdat hij ernstig betwijfelt of zij de zaak wel willen oplossen. De test met een leugendetector wees evenwel uit dat de getuige de waarheid spreekt, zo bevestigt Mos. "Hij heeft daar vrijwillig aan meegewerkt, zo heb ik begrepen."

"De verklaring is niet het bewijs dat de zaak rond maakt", aldus de officier. "Maar we willen hem wel graag hebben, met name omdat er andere dingen worden gezegd dan de getuige aan de politie heeft verteld. De privédetectives waren ingehuurd door de vader van Natalee. Ik zou de verklaring krijgen, maar bij het laatste overleg kregen we die toch niet."

Afronden

Justitie wil eind dit jaar het onderzoek naar de verdwijning voor de tweede maal afronden. Vorig jaar gebeurde dat ook, maar de zaak werd heropend, nadat Peter R. de Vries in zijn misdaadprogramma met beelden kwam van een undercoveroperatie, waarin Joran van der Sloot bekende haar lichaam in zee te hebben gedumpt. Deze verklaringen lijken echter als bewijs niet rechtsgeldig.

Volgens de nieuwe getuige zou het lichaam van het Amerikaanse meisje vermoedelijk zijn verborgen in het meertje op het eiland. Joran van der Sloot, die zijn studie in Nederland had hervat, is sinds de uitzending gevlucht naar Azië. Vader Paul van der Sloot wilde gisteravond niet reageren op het relaas van de getuige.

Most everything that Joran confessed to was a lie and in Patricks Book he changed what Joran said on the TV show anyway..What he said about Daury,The Shoes..Etc was all changed in the Book so the confession was meaningless as he later told another story. This was all for public consumption and to end the case so no one would be held accountable and everyone free from Prosecution. Take a good look at this so called Infiltration as for me it is absurd. Patrick is way too street smart to do such a horrid job of infiltration. Hans Mos even stated that the case will be ending at the end of the 2007 no matter what and thats exactly what they tried. The previous attempts of Natalee dieing by overdose and the two psychics failed miserably.

I am happy for Peter and glad this brought massive exposure for the case but the case is far from being solved and beth is far from being at peace. She had a camera stuck in her face before she even knew what was happening. Peter needs to continue what he started in the first broadcast as that was explosive..Why has he not continiued what he started exposing the cover up? The book and TV show are a complete hoax..IMO..You can flame me all you like as I am convinced Patrick is a fraud put into place by the Aruban Govt..That doesnt mean I have lost all faith in Peter R as I think he is a great Investigator who has run into some major obstacles that are obstructing the case. Patrick wanted to become a millionaire and I am sure feels like he is a patriot for helping out Aruba.

Suspect Joran van der Sloot, who arrives in Aruba this evening, is supposedly being accompanied by Chief of Police Dolphi Richardson.

The examining magistrate will interrogate Van der Sloot this Monday, in the presence of his lawyer. The session is not public and takes place at an unknown location. Chances are that after the first order expires on Wednesday, the Public Prosecutor (OM) will extend his arrest with eight days. The examining magistrate has interrogated the brothers Kalpoe today.

Amigoe has learned that the telephones of Joran van der Sloot and his family and of the brothers Kalpoe have already been tapped since the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. As part of the investigation, justice has also put in a confidant that infiltrated within the group of suspects. Already earlier did the former leader of the investigation, former Chief of Police Gerold Dompig want to use this last method of criminal investigation, which is new in Aruba. But that was considered too expensive at that moment. The telephone tapping method was used for quite some time already, says Dompig. John Pauly is a Veteran TV news producer who worked as a reporter in the 1980s at WCAU located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He worked there with Steve Cohen, whom we have spotlighted in previous articles. At 20/20 WUVP-TV 65 also in Philadelphia, Pauly held the position of Field Producer per a 2004 source, univision.net.

These same two men are associated with strategic planning for Aruba in reference to the Natalee Holloway case. At Arubatruth, a post by the Strategic Communications Task Force at 1:50 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2005 was made that stated, "A newsman who covered the case but wished to remain anonymous praised Pauly, who set up regular noon briefings to allow Aruban authorities to correct errors and rumors."

Murder Victims family is angry with how investigation is going
Case reconstruction took place last Thursday night in Sabana Basora

ORANJESTAD (AAN): In the month of June, a cruel case took place in Sabana Basora that shocked not only those who live in the neighborhood but also the whole community.

A man who showed no signs of life was discovered in the surroundings of Santana Central in Sabana Basora.

It deals with the body of a man with multiple cuts on his body. His throat was almost exposed.

At once, suspicion arose that this was a serious case, murder with criminal hands involved. Various suspicions arose, which dealt with a possible hit, reprisal, and a number of other versions circulated. At the moment when the authorities discovered the body, they checked the house where the victim lived, and there discovered a lot more blood.

In this end, it is illustrated why the case was that authorities concentrated here, because in their point of view this was the place where the crime took place.

The victim was living in this house with a woman, and she is one of the first ones to have noticed. In the first instance, the suspicion didnt point towards the woman. Due to her acting in such a way that the suspicion was not aimed in her direction.

However, slowly, on the basis of the investigation and also compiled reports, the finger was pointed in her direction.

Investigators in charge of the case found sufficient indication that the woman was involved in the murder, for which it decided with the support of the Public Ministry [prosecutor?s office] to detain her.

In this way, the interrogation started and the woman came head down that she committed the cruel act. She showed that she used a machete with which she held the man in such a way that he could not resist and by consequence he died from the multiple serious wounds he received.

Apparently, the woman committed the act as a reprisal. What the reprisal consisted of is not clear. Its the Court of Justice that will tend to this cruel case.
One point that still no one can believe and cannot comprehend is that the woman alone committed the act. Possibly there is one or more persons involved.

The question has arisen, if its true that the woman has such strength to launch this attack, hoist the man in a pickup and transport him from the house to the Santana area, where the lifeless body of Rene van Heinegin was discovered. The woman, Yesenia Castillo, is in KIA at this moment.

On the evening hours of Thursday, authorities conducted a reconstruction of the case where the female suspect was transported to the location to give details of what happened.

DIARIO found, that the investigator prepared this event along with TOD and the prosecutor for the reconstruction to take place.

Victims family is none too happy

While they cant even resolve the case of Natalee Holloway?what is of a poor dark skinned San Nicolas born Arubian?? This is the reaction of the family of the deceased, Rene van Heinegin, which they indicated to DIARIO in a telephone interview from St. Maarten.

The look at the case this way: A dark skinned Arubian from San Nicolas is cruelly killed in a new district. But everything is going quite slow and no sort of information is reaching them.

To top it all off, a sibling was told that police in Aruba was going to conduct the reconstruction of events this coming Sunday. Now he calls, they tell him that suddenly the reconstruction took place last Thursday evening. And the parents in Aruba are without a vehicle and could not find a way to get to the place. In the end, they couldnt get there.

Simply said, the families are none too happy with the investigations that are currently taking place in Aruba.

The First Independent State under Mafia Control

Aruba's reputation as a 'Mafia island' became public in March 1993 when it was described by the Italian daily Corriere della Sera as 'the first state to be bought by the bosses Cosa Nostra'. (7) The Sicilian Mafia clan of the families Cuntrera and Caruana allegedly had taken over the island. Between 1988 and 1992 they acquired 60 per cent of Aruba through investments in hotels, casino's and the election-campaign of a Prime Minister. Aruba looked set to be the first independent state under Mafia control.

At the time Aruba was set for independence from the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1996. Ten years before it had acquired a "status aparte" a semi-autonomous status ? within the realm. The Dutch consented to the Aruban wish for self-determination, but established a 10-year time period. Due to the reluctance of many Arubans, and anxiety with the Dutch government about the infiltration of organized crime on the island, independence never materialized. The US, France, the United Kingdom and Venezuela pressed the Dutch government to abandon its moves towards Aruban self-government, and the Netherlands complied. Consequently, although the island is now handling its own internal affairs, foreign relations and defense remain a Dutch responsability.

Prime Minister Eman doesn't like to be reminded of the name Cuntrera ?primarily because of his signature on the licence of Paolo and Giuseppe Cuntrera for their nightclub Visage in 1987. It keeps hurting him, even though he tries to dismiss it as "a very superseded story." According to Eman, at the time these people were honourable citizens in several countries, among others in Venezuela. In Aruba, their criminal activities were not known. Moreover, "when we learned who they really were, we expelled them?."

The issue also became highly politicized. The two main political parties ? the Arubaanse Volkspartij (AVP, Aruban Peoples Party) led by Eman and the Moviemento Electoral di Pueblo (MEP, People's Electoral Movement) led by Nelson Oduber ? accused each other of permitting the Cuntrera's to infest Aruba and both claim to have kicked them off the island. In reality, the Cuntrera's had left ? temporarily ? on their own in 1988.

In April 1988 Business Week published a story about the involvement of the family in a case of heroin smuggling from Thailand to Montreal, and their money laundering schemes in Canada. (9) The article and copies of the licence for the Cuntrera's signed by Eman, were distributed anonymously on the island, and caused a fierce political battle.

Eman still claims that the MEP-government which preceded his first government, already allowed the Cuntreras to establish the nightclub and that legally he couldn't do anything about it. But Eman's own Minister of Economic Affairs, Leonard Berlinski, in writing had refused a licence for Paolo and Giuseppe Cuntrera. Berlinski's officials advised him not to issue the permit because it was not in the public interest of Aruba, warning him "don't burn your fingers." Ironically, shortly after the licence was denied, Berlinski had to resign because of allegations of corruption. He was arrested but acquitted on appeal. In the meantime a new request for a licence was applied for ?by notary Maria Albertina Eman, a sister of the Prime Minister. Eman, then Minister of Economic Affairs ad interim, approved the application in spite of repeated negative recommendations. (10) Berlinski contends that observers of these events can draw their own conclusions.

Eman's claim that the Cuntrera's were honourable citizens in several countries is not convincing. This was certainly not true in Italy, Canada and the United States. In 1983 an international arrest warrant for Paolo Cuntrera was issued by the Italian police, and in June 1985 Gerlando Caruana was caught smuggling heroin to Montreal. Assuming this escaped the attention of the Aruban authorities, closer at home in Venezuela, the Cuntrera's were exposed as mafiosi in 1984 three years prior to permission for the Cuntrera nightclub. Their names, accompanied by photographs, made the headlines in the Venezuelan press. In addition, Aruban authorities knew or at least should have known? of the involvement of the Cuntreras in cocaine traffic on the island. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) had followed Sabbatino Nicolucci, a suspected courier for Montreal Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto, to the island. When Canadian police-officers accompanied by the Aruban chief of police asked to look at Nicolucci's phone calls at the Holiday Inn it appeared he was not registered: the room was reserved and paid for by Pasquale Cuntrera. (11) Despite this incriminating evidence, which probably inspired the negative advice of Aruban officials, Prime Minister Eman gave the Cuntrera's permission to open a nightclub.

A Smugglers' Paradise

The Intercon Financial Bank on Aruba is represented by the law-firm Croes & Wever. One of the partners is former Minister of Justice Hendrik Croes. The firm's trust-company Arulex was implicated in setting up the bank. "Yes, we are involved with that bank," says Croes. "We still handle all their legal affairs, but we don't know anything of their financial accounts." (70)

Hendrik Croes a brother of the island's legendary leader, the late Betico Croes who guided Aruba to its semi-independent status in the Dutch realm? is one of the leading political figures on the island. He led several election campaigns for the MEP, now in the opposition. The Croes Family has been accused of ties with Cuntrera-Caruana. The Sicilian mafiosi payed for a trip of another brother, Rudy Croes (who succeeded Hendrik as Minister of Justice in a previous MEP government) as party secretary to a meeting of the Socialist International in Turkey. This has not been denied.

Paolo Cuntrera visited the island regularly despite his expulsion in 1988. The government opposed his legal actions for re-admittance. But Hendrik Croes has to admit the procedures were not stainless. A blundering government lawyer, an official who signed a residence permit 'by mistake', meant that de facto Paolo Cuntrera was able to circulate freely on the island.

According to Canadian police reports, in 1978, Pasquale Cuntrera owned the Holiday Inn Casino although the registers indicated otherwise. "At the start of 1980s the Cuntrera's were often at the Holiday Inn casino," says a croupier. "In 1989 they were there again, although they were ostensibly thrown of the island."

DEA agent David Lorino, the case-officer in Operation Wiseguy, claims that "when the Cuntrera's moved to Venezuela they carried some 15 to 30 million dollars with them, which were invested in hotels in Caracas, but also on Curacao and Aruba." 71 The DEA had used the Miami-based Italian-born Venezuelan business man Raffaele Bellizzi to contact Pasquale Cuntrera. Before 1983 Bellizzi owned a shipping-company, but that year it went bankrupt because of the debt-crises in Venezuela. "He told us that his ships transported narcotics and money from Caracas to Aruba and Europe," says Lorino. As mentioned before Canadian investigations show that the clan used Aruba as a trampoline for cocaine to North America. (72)

According to Lorino, "the names Cuntrera and Caruana were well known on the island." Now nobody on Aruba wants to know that these gentle and well mannered Sicilians ever existed. "Oh, but a lot of people knew them then," says Bianca de Mey, who set up the company Investeringen Tweehonderd en Tien, which was the holding for a nightclub and pizzeria for the Cuntreras. The company now has nothing to do with them any more, she adds.

The Cuntrera's must have felt at home on Aruba. The island has been a smugglers' paradise, since colonial times, when it was used to evade the Spanish trade monopoly. Whatever disagreements Arubans may have and they have a lot this is something they readily admit. Even Prime Minister Eman acknowledges "it is an island of smugglers ... For years Aruba was the most important coffee exporter, while there is no coffee-plant to be found on the island." Aruba is also the biggest exporter of Philip Morris cigarettes and every imaginable kind of whisky. On Aruba it is all imported and exported according to the rules. What they do at the other side on the South American mainland is not the problem of the islanders. Legal trade or contraband, the difference is thin. "A lot of families became very rich with this trade," says Eman. "This went on for decades and it is an, eh... accepted fact."

One reason that Casinos are attractive to money launderers is because they offer a broad range of financial services including the issuing of credit, transfers of money into and out of bank accounts, currency exchanges services, issuance of checks and the acceptance of deposits.

In reviewing preventive measures, Mr Smid commented that in the Netherlands casinos are obligated to report unusual transactions and that these reports are both of a repressive and a preventative nature. Preventative measures include determining the ultimate beneficiary ownership of casinos, insuring the integrity of the management, efficient and effective internal administrative procedures, customer identification procedures, and unusual or suspicious transactions reporting requirements. Mr. Smid continued by delineating several examples of money laundering through casinos in the Netherlands. Mr. Smid described a situation where a customer approached a bank with a large amount of cash to deposit claiming the source of the cash to be casino winnings. These statements are difficult to verify, in the Netherlands there is, however, a reporting requirement for these types of unusual transactions as well as a requirement for customer identification. Mr Smid reiterated the difficulty for law enforcement and other authorities to determine beneficial ownership of some casinos when there is a link to bank secrecy jurisdictions. Indicators for unusual transactions reporting for Casino 4 objective and two subject indicators. February 23, 2006 (WLS) -- Authorities on the island of Aruba have not been able to solve the mystery of what happened to Alabama teenager Natalie Holloway. She disappeared while on a high school trip last spring. The ABC7 I-Team has learned new details about the casino where Holloway was last seen, an Aruba casino run by a convicted high-ranking Chicago mobster.

The unsolved disappearance of 18-year-old Natalie Holloway has commanded worldwide attention. It has been widely reported that the last place Holloway was known to be alive was the Excelsior casino connected to the Holiday Inn where she and her classmates were staying.

The I-Team has learned that the casino where Holloway was last seen is operated by Chicagoan Michael Posner. The intelligence report on Posner lists him as a prominent member of the Chicago outfit for more than 40 years.

According to federal law enforcement, Michael Posner's most recent mob assignment was boss of illegal rackets in the north suburbs. Posner was convicted in 1987 of threatening wayward gamblers with death and running prostitutes out of this Lake County strip club.

Through his Chicago lawyer, Posner maintains that he has been clean for 15 years and since 1998 has operated the Excelsior casino on the Caribbean resort on the island of Aruba.

Last May, honor student Natalie Holloway was staying at the resort on her high school graduation trip when she disappeared. One of the last places she was seen alive was in Posner's Excelsior casino.

In security tape obtained by ABC News, Holloway is seen at a table seated next to Joran van der Sloot, a local who is the prime suspect in the case. Van der Slout admits having had a romantic encounter with Holloway, but in an exclusive interview to air Thursday night on Primetime, he says he is no criminal.

"I think I've been portrayed unfairly. I've been portrayed as a murderer and a rapist and everything that I'm not," van der Sloot said.

Casino boss Michael Posner denies that he knows van der Sloot and denies ever extending him casino credit. Posner's lawyer Allan Ackerman says Posner was in Chicago when Holloway vanished and returned to Aruba the day after.

A reader at another site asked if the Mike Posner of Aruba is the same Mike Posner from the Chicago Mob. The answer is yes. He did some time in the 80s, but after his release the Chicago outfit rewarded him by putting him in charge of their Aruba interests. In Chicago he was identified in the newspapers as "The Vice Kingpin of the Northwest Suburbs." He ran gambling, adult bookstores, strip clubs and prostitution. You'll recall that Posner and Natalee went missing during the same week, which is too much of a coincidence to simply ignore. According to the early posts on Dan Reihl's site, Posner met Natalee at the Excelsior Casino. I believe it was at the same time that Natalee introduced herself to Joran van der Sloot.

Posner certainly had the ability to make Natalee disappear. I have suspected Posner's involvement all along, but I had never previously suspected that he had a criminal record from Chicago, at least until the information came out. As reported: Michael Posner owns the Excelsior Casino in Aruba, and caters mostly to "Spaniards". From what I gather from the Excelsior's casino info, some 30% of the gamblers come from South America. These are experienced gamblers used to playing for high stakes. Hence, they are South Americans with money!

There is an expatriate who hails from Chicago that has spread and built his empire of greed and vice on the island of Aruba. His name is Michael Posner, but is also known as Michael Rubins and Irving Goldstein. He currently lives in Aruba (note: Posner was conveinently missing at the same time as Natalee.) and owns the Excelsior, Holiday Inn, Brickel Bay Hotel, Grand Holiday Casino, along with other miscellaneous “businesses” in Aruba. It would be an understatement to say Posner is a major player in the stench of Aruba’s underbelly of crime.

Posner has gathered quite an extensive list of arrests dating back to the 1960’s, including a ten-year prison sentence in the 1980’s. All his crimes stem from his mafia ties in the suburbs of Chicago, as a lieutenant under the 1980’s Chicago mob boss, Joseph Ferriola.

Let’s take a look at some infamous pieces of his past and how they relate to Aruba’s crime, money laundering, prostitution, human and drug trafficking.


In March of 1986, George A. Mueller, a millionaire businessman whose businesses included cigarette vending machines, video machines, and real estate in Chicago was executed mob-style at his place of business, George F. Mueller & Sons. That wasn’t Mueller’s first run-in with Posner and his gang. Mueller previously received numerous death threats and his business was bombed twice. Reminiscent of the movies such as “Goodfellas” or the hit show, “The Sopranos”, Mueller had been forced to pay mob bosses large amounts of money for what was called a “street-tax” in order for him to operate his business without the interference of Joseph Ferriola and his mob thugs.


Chicago investigators claimed that the murder of Mueller was meant to “send a message” to other non-mob related vending machine business owners. This murderous warning came from Ferriola, whose plans were to take over the businesses from Chicago’s legitimate businessmen in order to expand his operations into the city’s south suburbs with help from his golden child, Michael Posner. It was said at the time that Mueller’s murder may have been in connection with the convictions of five mafia leaders in a Kansas City courtroom just one week earlier. Hefty sentences were handed down to Chicago’s No. 2 mob boss, John Cerone, former Chicago boss, Joseph Aiupppa; and their mob counterparts, Joseph Lombardo and Angela LaPietra for their roles in a Las Vegas casino conspiracy. Operation Safe Bet Claims Ferriola and Michael Posner


On January 29, 1987, a federal grand jury indicted Ferriola, Posner, and Sidney Muscovsky on charges of racketeering, mail fraud and using interstate facilities to aid prostitution which stemmed from Posner’s “massage parlor”, the Roman House, a whorehouse located in Prairie View, Illinois. According to the indictment, customers of the Roman House used their credit cards to pay for sex, which was enabled by a government sting organized by federal agents. Michael Spilotro and his brother, Anthony, who were a part of the operation were subsequently murdered, and a Palentine, Illinois nightclub owner, Nick Stevens fled to Greece to escape charges. “…Posner is the head of gambling, vending machines, prostitution and pornography in Lake County and nearby counties…in 1984 the Internal Revenue Service nabbed him as he left a Northbrook restaurant and confiscated his $54,000 Mercedes, several thousand dollars and what appeared to be gambling records…Posner learned the racket, according to federal sleuths, from his father, Bernard “Pi Pi” Posner, who was an underling of Ralph Pierce and Murray “the Camel” Humphreys, founding fathers of the Al Capone gang.” “All Chicago and suburban porno bookstores are controlled by the mob, federal sources say.” (The Chicago Sun-Times, January 26, 1987)


The Roman House—nudie bar or hooker delight?


Posner claims that he was unaware of any sexual activities in his club. He claimed to have instructed his employees that no sex was allowed to take place there. No alcohol was served on the premises, yet customers racked up hefty tabs, the highest being $4,600, including a bill for a $96 “bottled water”. If no sex services were exchanged, then how were these customers racking up such monstrous amounts on their credit cards?


During Posner’s trial, a former patron of the Roman House was called as a witness and stated that “he was once standing naked, except for a pair of socks, after having sex with a waitress when she presented him with a bill for her services. ‘You’d better cover up’, he said she suggested, handing him a cocktail napkin.” Laboratory test results revealed sperm on used cocktail napkins. “A cleaning woman at the club also testified that she found used condoms on the floor on a daily basis.” (The Chicago-Sun Times, October 20, 1987)


Posner—Sugar Daddy, or Pimp Daddy?


The sick part of this story is that Posner claimed that he was helping these young troubled women earn money to stay off the streets by giving them these jobs. During the trial, Posner’s partner, Sidney Muscovsky stated that “Posner gave troubled young women dancing jobs, paid their health insurance and converted them into taxpaying citizens. ‘I think, if the Roman House wasn’t there, they’d still be on the street.” (The Chicago Sun-Times, December 12, 1987)

So now that we know what Posner’s favorite dirty deeds are, let’s check out the connection between Posner’s acts in the U.S. and his “businesses” in Aruba. Perhaps the reason he moved to the lawless island of Aruba was to continue to do what he knows best? Already schooled and mastered in the ropes of crime, he is free to do what he wants on the island of Aruba and knows he can’t be touched. I doubt he will be returning to his posh home in Illinois any time soon. First, let explore the similarities between his Chicago and Aruban “businesses” starting with the world’s oldest profession.

We all know that Joran’s best friend Freddy likes to photograph scantily clad young girls after we learned of his arrest in the summer of 2005. There are even reliable sources that have said he was waiting at Joran’s the night Natalee went missing in order to videotape the bang bang and sell it to Rafael Levy, the brother of Carlos and Charlie’s owner, Albeto Levy. Rafael Levy is known to have business ties to the international pornography industry, including such horrific acts called “snuff films”. It has been said that Joran, along with his gang of “pimps” are nothing but couriers or “loverboys”, who lure and drug unsuspecting girls in order for Freddy to videotape the unconscionable acts and in turn sell them to Levy for distribution.


Considering Posner’s past regarding the sex industry, it would be prudent to say that Posner could be involved with both Albeto and Rafeal Levy and is instrumental in picking out girls via the hidden cameras in his casinos.


In conclusion, is this the kind of place where you would want to send your children or family to for vacation? Aruba markets itself to the tourism industry as the safest place to visit. They produce fake statistics on crime, or report nothing for years. Their false marketing campaigns and blatant facades give weight to the boycott of Aruba. We have all been lied to. Would you purchase a product from a company of known liars, murderers, and those who know, do nothing and look the other way?

The arrested boy is Guido Wever, he has been detained and interrogated in the Netherlands. He is Aruba moved to Canada 14 days after Natalee disappeared. He was a croupier at the Holliday Inn and Casino has previously interrogated by the Aruban police. According to his lawyer Spong, the boy suspected of "complicity in murder, grievous bodily injury and deprivation of liberty of Natalee Holloway.

Julia Renfro states before hand that Joran will be released on June 6th and on the same day Awemainta Newspaper shows Paul and Anita Van Der Sloot celebrating at a cocktail party from a few days before that. They certainly don't seem to be to concerned that there son is in prison facing murder charges. How did they know the judges decision in advanced? Was the newspaper article to rub it in everyone face? It was a bit premature as Joran was released the next day.

The impression was given also because it was the deal of a functionnaire(Dompig) who was learning to become Head, felt he had to protect the privacy of the family. Paul van der Sloot, father of Joran van der Sloot after having become a suspect in the case.


At no moment did the OM ask to search more then that.

JUDGE ROBERT WIT OBSTRUCTS THE GATHERING OF EVIDENCE

Joran van der Sloot was arrested on June 9, 2005 and a search warrant was issued for a complete search of the Van der Sloot residence and property six days later on June 15th. When the prosecution and police teams arrived to search the home they were met at the door by Dutch judge Robert Wit who summarily change the search warrant on the spot to exclude the Van der Sloot main residence and grounds, limiting the search only to Jorans small apartment in the back of the house.

Judge Wit blocked the search of the van der Sloot residence even though he knew through Joran's police statements that he said he was in the main house in the early morning hours when he returned home after supposedly dropping Ms. Holloway off. In other words, Judge Wit ignored testimony by a key suspect to obstruct the collection of evidence from the suspect's residence.

Joran was arrested twice and his father was arrested once in the first month of the investigation. The main residence of the Van der Sloot home was never searched after either of these arrests.

DEVRIES: Yes the police missed several changes to do things right: when they wanted to search the house the door was opened by Mr. Ben King, an assistant of the Procurements Gen. office, the highest justice-office on the island, and a friend of the family who wanted to support the VdSloots in these difficult times? So clearly the search of the house hadnt been a surprise to the VdSloots. And the police had a warrant for the complete estate but a judge - Bob Wit - who was at the house as well said only Joran's room could be searched.


These are things a Dutch crime-reporter is of course totaly astonished about. Justice Department official Ben King, who later admitted to the media that he was a close friend of Paulus Van der Sloot, claimed he was on vacation and therefore not acting on behalf of the Justice department. It was King who personally informed the search team they could only search the small apartment of Joran Van Der Sloot, located in the back yard of the property just behind the main residence, when they arrived.

Also present at the Van Der Sloot residence was Dutch Judge Bob Witt from Curacao, who was one judge presiding over the case. It should be noted that Paulus Van der Sloot was a Dutch judge-in-training at the time of Natalee Holloway?s disappearance.

By limiting the search of the van der Sloot residence and property, Judge Wit obstructed justice by inhibiting the collecting of evidence and should be removed from the bench, and charged with this crime, before he causes even more damage within the Dutch judicial system.

We will also note here that two innocent black security guards were arrested for the crime four days before Joran was detained. The judge did not limit the search when they were paraded before the media while the Prosecutor and Police ransacked their full residences. The two guards were later released but not before the Dutch judge had made sure their lives were made miserable.

How ironic that the Dutch judges had no consideration for two black security guards who were arrested for a crime they had nothing to do with, and yet had time to block the search of a fellow white Dutch compatriot whose son, Joran van der Sloot, is still to this day the main suspect in the disappearance and murder of Natalee Holloway.


COLLUSION BETWEEN A DUTCH JUDGE AND THE ARUBA GOVERNMENT

Under Dutch law it is optional for a judge to attend the search of a suspect's house. We found no evidence one had been present at the security guards' homes when they were raided. Yet, we find Judge Bob Wit not only attending the search of the van der sloot home but already in the house when the search team arrives, destroying any element of surprise the authorities may have gained.

At the van der Sloot residence with Judge Wit was a high ranking official of the Aruba Prosecutor's office, Ben Vocking, who served as the Head of the Department of Prosecutor Support. The Prosecutor, Karin Jannsen at the time, is the very person who called for a search warrant so it is safe to assume both Judge Bob Wit and Ben Vocking had inside information into the search and many other aspects of the case. Vocking had taken a leave of absence the day after Natalee Holloway disappeared to be with his friend Paulus van der Sloot in his time of need. Clearly this is yet another conflict of interest between the government and the suspect in the case, Joran van der Sloot.

But the fact that Judge Bob Wit was at the home with government official Ben Vocking when the search party arrived raises even deeper questions about collusion between the judiciary and goverment. Certainly a judge does not go to a home and greet the suspects and inform them of an impending search before the authorities arrive. This would go against the grain of any effective investigation and curry favor to the suspect. Should the judge have not been with the Prosecutor and Police when they arrived at the house? Why was Judge Bob Wit already in the house?

All of this suggests collusion between a Dutch judge and a high ranking official from the Aruba Prosecutor's office to obstruct justice in the Natalee Holloway case.

GRACE: Jossy, regarding the connection, what I perceived to be a close connection between the judge, Paulus Van Der Sloot and the retired chief of police who initially handled Natalee`s case, Van Der Stratten, were they friends?

MANSUR:Of course, they were friends. It stands to reason they were friends because Paul Van Der Sloot had many friends within the police department; he had many friends within the Department of Justice. And he had many friends with -- and he was friendly with all the judges in Aruba. He worked out of the same office as they did and did the same work.

Such a close working relationship with the Dutch judges during his training created an obvious conflict of interest when his son, and he himself, became implicated in the disappearance and very possible murder of Natalee Holloway. The Dutch Judicial system in Holland should have recognized such an obvious hazard to justice but chose to do nothing, allowing friends and acquaintances of van der Sloot to preside over the court hearings of both Paulus and his son.

The outcome of the judges rulings in the Natalee Holloway case have cast a dark shadow over the Dutch judicial system. It should be noted that Paulus van der Sloot was also arrested in the case for conspiracy to commit murder, and these same judges ruled on his case as well. The end result, as one might expect, is that both van der Sloots were freed from prosecution. It is apparent from all the rulings in the case that the Dutch cannot police their own, justice be damned.

A SERIOUS CONFLICT OF INTEREST

The courts in all of the Netherland Antilles are managed and executed from Holland, where judges are sent to the islands to preside over the judicial proceedings of Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire. Paulus van der Sloot, father of the prime suspect in Natalee Holloways disappearance, was a judge-in-training in this very judicial system, working alongside and making the acquaintance of the judges in the Dutch system. Indeed, it has been reported that some of these judges were very close friends outside the official duties of the courts.
Judge Bob Wit intervened again eight days later when Joran’s father Paulus Van Der Sloot was arrested for reasonable suspicion in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, once again blocking a search of the Van Der Sloot home. Without question Bob Wit knew Paulus van der Sloot - they worked on cases together and appear to be very good friends judging from such an outrageous ruling. Since when do arrested murder suspects get immunity from having their houses searched? Judge Bob Wit needs to answer this question in the open forum of the Caribbean Court of Justice, rather than hide behind the opaque wall of Dutch law

But, that was not the only thing what happened, because after the unexpected confrontation with official King, Mr. Bob Wit, who was in charge of the investigation, arranged another setback.
The criminal investigators were waiting in front of the house with employees of the forensic laboratory. The order for search warrant concerned the address HuhHuh: the complete section. But on site, Mr. Wit decided that only this small apartment of Joran in the garden was allowed to be investigated. So, not the whole section and the rest of the house, what is what the police wanted to do.

(51.19 min) The criminal investigation department on Aruba calls the action of the judge commissioner incomprehensible, and experienced this setback as a failure of the first order. Joran had explained that he had been that night at the house, and he appeared to have lied on vital points. Reasons enough for an extended search, but the being ready criminal investigation team, got suddenly almost literally, no meter space.

Later I learn from my parents that they have searched the house. Suddenly their appears a large number of police, detectives and press at our doorstep.

Ben King, a good friend of my dad, is visiting us with his wife. We?ve known him for already 15 years and my mother and his wife are best friends. I've also spent a few year at primary school together with their eldest daughter. He has taken up 2 weeks of holiday, just to ensure not to mix up his work with private matters. He works as a strategist at the public prosecution office, however is a non-legal person involved in totally different matters than the Holloway-case.

Our house is fenced of with a red-white police ribbon. The press tries to record everything with huge cameras from a large distance. Theyre shamelessly hanging over the wall in an attempt to take some good shots. My parents stay away from the cameras as much as they can.

The detectives were supposed to keep a list of everything they take, however they dont do that. Men dressed in white suits, a kind of astronauts, walk in my room and through the garden. There are also folk with two dogs that sniff around in the garden. Our own dogs have to be lashed.

Ben and his wife even make some jokes. My mother went out with the dogs a few days earlier and the trunk of her jeep is full of dog hairs. That will at least keep them busy for a while when they start searching for hair and you probably get a very clean car in return, after all the vacuum cleaning. Sometimes humor in this situation is the best way to survive.
