Joh, de VS is vooral een voorbeeld van wat polarisatie met je land kan doen. Wat Trump gedaan heeft kan zeker niet door de beugel, maar het is momenteel nog ff de vraag of het uberhaupt in de senaat besproken gaat worden of dat het gelijk weggestemd gaat worden. Denk wel besproken, maar daarna volgt er een not guilty verdict.quote:

Dat is niet het CNN verhaal, maar puur kijken naar wat de eerste twee getuigen vertellen. Als je dan iets zegt als het CNN verhaal, dan kom je over als iemand die dingen afschrijft omdat het niet de juiste media is die het meldt. Maar de hearings waren integraal te kijken.
Bil Clinton had een onderzoek van twee jaar aan ze broek en het enige waar ze hem op konden pakken was een toevallig ontdekte relatie met een stagaire. En toen ook alleen nog maar omdat hij iets ontkende wat, volgens de tekst correct was, maar niet volgens de publieke opinie. Iets wat niets met het onderzoek te maken had.
Falen in het strong armen van een ander land om onderzoek te doen naar een politieke tegenstander is gewoon fout. Rond uit gevaarlijk zelf. Met deze eerste getuigen is het al duidelijk dat dat gewoon gebeurde.
Dan kan je roepen dat Trump een pistol laden en het afschoot maar miste en daarom is er geen misdaad, maar dat is gewoon onzin. Zelfs al zou dat geen misdaad zijn, voor een impeachement maakt dat niets uit.
Als dit toegestaan wordt, wat is dan de toekomst van de democratie in het "beste" land van de wereld? Volgens mij staat het dan gewoon op de tocht en wordt het te grabbel gegooit.
Iets wat slecht is voor de rest van de wereld.
Dus ongeacht iemands politieke overtuiging, zou je daar een tegen moeten zijn.
De lakse houding van veel mensen in dit topic, het bagataliseren ervan is raar en angstaanjagend.
Het goed keuren van het ondermijnen van een democratische rechtstaat of er simpelweg niet omgeven is jammer.
Hou vol mensen, alleen samen krijgen we de vergrijzing eronder!
