Wat vinden we van Pharoahe Monch's nieuwe album? Geen gastrappers, zelfs geen Prince Po. In plaats daarvan wordt er onverwacht veel gezongen door de gasten, maar het klinkt al met al best tof vind ik.

Beetje kut wel dat in die track Desire dezelfde sample gebruikt wordt als in een beat die ik net af had, maarja dat gebeurt wel vaker.

Ja is alleen een bonus track op sommige versies geloof ik. Ik vond de versie op die Sa-Ra mixtape met 50 Cent acapella erover beter klinken trouwens.

Byron Crawford had daarover een blog geschreven dat de blanke hiphop-fans meer gaven om hun oldschool artiesten dan de zwarte fans. Dit omdat het publiek 90% blank is. Zijn conclusie: De zwarte fan geeft niet meer zo om zijn oude artiesten. Dit was een interesante observatie.quote:

Byron Crawford is een complete idioot, maar om de een of andere onverklaarbare reden blijf ik die kutcolumns van 'm nog lezen ook. Beste columnist op XXL is duidelijk Noz. Vooral z'n column over Gnarls Barkley sloeg de spijker op z'n kop:
