De domste mens op aarde 
Altijd maar bezig met Salman Khan en Kadim Al Sahir en Ramy Ayach....en dan negeer ik deze prachtige man gewoon. Begrijp me niet verkeerd! Ik ben altijd grote fan van zijn muziek geweest! In tegenstelling tot die andere 3 ben ik zelfs naar zijn concerten in Beirut geweest. Het is alleen nooit bij mij opgekomen: Hij is gemaakt voor mij!
51 jaar, een prachtige villa in Beirut en 1 in Parijs...ja dat wist ik allemaal al....maar ik vond hem verder nooit bijzonder. Dankzij de Arabische Idol ben ik er gelukkig achter gekomen dat hij super spannend en leuk en humoristisch is....wat een heerlijke man!

Below is a Fan's experience during TOIFA in Vancouver this past weekend. The post has been modified from the original. You can read the entire blog here . The reason this has been posted is because its getting a lot of attention on social networking sites like Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook.
TOIFA Week: part 2
In my last post I said this entire week would be busy and crazy; and that was an understatement. I am actually so shocked and disgusted at the things that happened. It was so unexpected.
So after the Musical Extravaganza my family and I booked two rooms at Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver where all the stars were staying. I just so happened to be on the same floor as Ranbir Kapoor. And anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE RANBIR KAPOOR. I think he is the best actor in all of Bollywood and he is so talented and he’s just so gorgeous. I also thought he was probably very nice and kind… However I was wrong about that.
I understand celebrities need privacy, but they also have to understand that it’s because of the fans that they are where they are right now. If we don’t watch their movies and support them and ask them for pictures then who are they? What is their identity? Of course there are some crazy fans but I’m definitely not ranting to condone their crazy. I’m ranting because I believe that famous people are truly misunderstood about the position they have in the public eye.
There were literally 10 people standing on my floor for Ranbir Kapoor. They were speaking so loud and that was their fault. But my cousins and I wanted to see him too, but we didn’t want to get in trouble so we decided to go down to the lobby. We met Anurag Basu and he told us that Ranbir is out driving around and what not, however another girl who was with Anurag told us after 3 hours of waiting in the lobby for him, that he was in his room and he was “really messed up”
We went back downstairs and we came back at about 5 in the morning, I went to my other room to go change and my cousins went to their room. My dad was waiting for his friend in the hall. While I was leaving my room to go to my cousins I heard Ranbir Kapoor swearing and yelling. I knew it was him before I even saw his face. His face was just centimetres away from my fathers. He was yelling at my dad and he pushed him three times. I am so thankful my dad didn’t say anything. My dad loved Ranbir Kapoor just as I did, but I knew it took him everything to not say anything back. I literally just stood there frozen and I couldn’t say anything no one saw me and I just couldn’t move. I’m there thinking “Holy fucking shit, Ranbir Kapoor is swearing at my dad and what the fuck happened? This can’t be happening.”
I quickly ran into my cousins room and I’m practically screamed “HOLY SHIT, RANBIR KAPOOR IS YELLING AT MY DAD!” My aunt and cousin got up and went to go see, when Ranbir realized we were watching he quickly walked away. I was so choked.. And do you want to know why he was mad? Because his friend came out to tell my dad he couldn’t wait near the elevator because Ranbir was coming out and my dad’s like why should I leave? That’s when Ranbir came to bitch out. Seriously these celebrities think they own shit, but you guys are in Canada. Understand that you don’t own shit. I feel so crappy. I loved that man, I admired him so much. But I can’t look at him the same way anymore. I literally felt so sick for the rest of the stay in the hotel. I can’t stop crying every time I think of Ranbir. It feels like I broke up with an ***** boyfriend, I can’t move on from.
I can’t believe some of the things I saw this weekend. Everything feels so surreal. I really regret staying at the hotel because I learned some horrible things about the stars I love and it really disturbs me. I can’t watch a Ranbir Kapoor film the same way anymore. A lot of the stars were actually so fake. I was really pissed at how they were treating their fans. I still can’t believe this. I mean how does one deal with the fact that the ones you admire are the ones who you’ve lost all respect for and they’ve lowered in your eyes? I still can’t deal with this ache. Everything I felt about the Indian Cinema feels so fake now. I just can’t believe this.

Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra: PC Tells Truth About Affair Rumors

Priyanka Chopra has finally opened up about the rumors that she's been carrying on an affair with Shahrukh Khan, and it shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone that all the talk of her seducing a married father has left her hurt and angry.
In an interview that first appeared in the Times of India, Priyanka discusses her blooming music career, sounding very much like a little kid at Christmas when it comes to how excited she is to record her own music.
Priyanka also came as close as she ever has to denying that she's having an affair with Shahrukh. "I've always stood up for whatever I do and bear the consequences for it. But when it's not my doing, it makes me angry."
"When it's not of my doing." That sounds very much like Priyanka is claiming that she's done nothing wrong. Reading her interview, it's hard to assume otherwise. Though it's true that she and Shahrukh Khan have a very close relationship, that hardly means that they're in a relationship with each other.
The media backlash against Priyanka has been sharp and swift. Shahrukh is painted as the wholesome family man who was lured away by the seductive actress (a narrative which SRK's fans have had a huge hand in perpetuating). Priyanka seems genuinely grieved about how the rumors might affect her relationship with Shahrukh, but says that so far he has been a good friend despite the media spotlight.
"He's always been kind. I don't think we've changed that much. I'm grateful for that."

Q and A with one of Bollywood's leading ladies:
How was it recording your pop album in Los Angeles?
Oh! There was too much pressure. I was locked inside the studio where I was writing and recording songs. I just shopped for an hour a day.
You made a lot of friends there, including Lady Gaga...
The funny thing is, she was in India while I was in LA. She’s been kind and supportive. She understands what it feels like to be a new artiste. It’s a completely new place, a new culture for me. But all the artistes I met were kind to me. I’m excited about what I’m working on. I hope I don’t let anyone down.
What has the experience taught you?
I’m still learning. I’ve always loved music and been obsessive about it. But I never realised how much goes into making it. It’s a magical process. Writing music is so personal. I realised that all my lyrics are so dark, there’s so much inside me. As actors, we’re so used to being other people that we never face ourselves.
Tell us more about your dark side...
I’m a private person. I don’t open up even to friends or family. But while writing lyrics, something kept pouring out from deep within. It’s not a persecution complex but I’m fascinated by the dark side of life. I’ve always had a bubbly, happy life. My family has been great, so have my friends, but the forbidden fruit has always fascinated me.
I like doing everything I’m told not to. My mother sent me to a hostel because I used to say ‘no’ so often. She always used reverse psychology with me. Maybe, it’s a need to prove that I have a mind of my own. But I’ve been a little on the edge.
How do you deal with pain, heartbreak and loneliness?
By crying. And writing poems.
Does great writing come from heartbreak?
Writing comes from being inspired, it could be heartache or pain. I don’t like pain but I’ve written that I do.
Was your dad’s illness (Dr Ashok Chopra was diagnosed with cancer) a dark phase?
Yes, dad being unwell is very difficult to cope with. You’re never mentally prepared to see your parents weak. For a daughter, her dad is always the tough guy, someone who hates her boyfriend. To see him frail, shook something within me.
Do you feel lighter after expressing all those dark thoughts?
Yes. The process was self-healing. Everything that I felt was put on paper and it was quite scary. Since I’m extremely private, I was wondering if I wanted to share all those thoughts with the world. (Laughs) Ab sab ko sab pata chal jayega (Everyone will know everything) was the thought bubble.
Is making music also living your father’s dream?
Yes, in a big way. It all started off as an opportunity. I wasn’t really looking for one. It was pitched to me and I found it interesting. But I saw the way it lit my dad up. He was thrilled that I was doing this. I felt I was living his dream.
What’s been your aim in cutting an album?
I feel like a debutante once again except that I’m not treated like one. What excites me is the largeness of what I am doing. It’s a big opportunity, not just for me but for the country. We have so much potential here. Bollywood so monopolises our choice of music that there’s no pop culture here. So, it will open a big window for Indian artistes. We needn’t be restricted to just bhangra. We can integrate what the world wants to listen to. Like when Shakira came from Colombia, she brought in her culture in Western music. That’s what I want to do.
Were there any roadblocks?
Lots. My mood was the biggest roadblock. If I was in a bad mood, I faced a writer’s block. I was pushing myself as I had limited time. I’m doing four films this year Agneepath, Teri Meri Kahaani, Barfee and the Krrish sequel. I had to come back within a month and finish my commitments. Plus, I was unwell. You have to be in the right mood to make music. It was so reflective of my mood, it was scary.
Can you share a few lines you’ve written?
I’d rather dance with the sinners than die with the saints, it’s the pain I choose to try like how it tastes/ If today feels like everything will be okay/ Turn around and realise that even heaven needs a hurricane.
Looking back at 2011, what were the highs and lows?
Only 7 Khoon Maaf released last year. It didn’t do well, which was painful. But I’m grateful people appreciated my work. Both Vishal sir (Bhardwaj) and I knew it was a dark movie and would cater to a niche audience. But it still hurt.
What went wrong with 7 Khoon Maaf?
It was a niche film, not a Dostana. It was a black comedy and we knew it wouldn’t appeal to all audiences. But we decided to go ahead and make this film, an uncommon concept in India.
A lot of people felt your make-up went haywire...
Yes, for the older character the prosthetics went wrong. I’m upset about that as I spent six hours every day getting it done.
Did the film take you to another level as an actor?
I don’t want to sound pompous but I do think I’m alright as an actor. And yes, it was incredible that I got to play the life of a woman from 21 to 60.
How important is box office performance?
For me, box office is king. It’s great that people appreciate my work because I work bloody hard. I make sure I’m not mediocre. But beyond that, it’s not in my control and that’s frustrating.
You enjoy challenging yourself, don’t you?
Not just in films but in everything that I do. That’s one of the reasons why I took on music, although it’s scaring the shit out of me. There’s so much expectation. I’m the first from this country to do it.
Reportedly, you had a problem with Lara Dutta during the shooting of Don 2.
That’s wishful thinking. People want me to fight with someone. I could, I am a big fighter. But I’m not confrontational unless someone pisses me off. Lara and I’ve shared a wonderful relationship since our Miss India days. She’s a nice person. Why would I have a problem with her? We didn’t have too many scenes together but our roles coincided in Berlin.
I remember that one night when we were together, we hung out. She told me all about how Mahesh (Bhupathi) proposed. He had just given her the ring. I was 17 when we first met and now I can’t believe she is a mom. I’m going shopping for her baby, we’ve discussed that too.
How did you feel when Shahid Kapoor praised you in a recent interview?
I feel nice when anyone praises me, why just Shahid? I like compliments, which girl doesn’t?
Reportedly, you walked out of an interview as you didn’t want to be clicked together with Shahid?
The brand I was shooting for stopped the interviews as the light was fading. We still had one more shot to do. So we tried to break it up. People misconstrued it as my walking out. I’m shooting with Shahid every single day for Kunal Kohli’s film (Teri Meri Kahaani)! He’s someone I’ve known for long. We get along really well. So, where is this coming from?
How are you dealing with the current reports linking Shah Rukh Khan with you?
They make me angry and upset me a lot.
How have these news reports changed your equation with SRK?
Thankfully, it hasn’t changed my equation with him so far. But there is a possibility of things changing between us. That would be sad and shameful. I would hold people responsible for it all my life. I’ve always stood up for whatever I do and bear the consequences for it. But when it’s not my doing, it makes me angry. It would be sad if our relationship changed.
Is there awkwardness when you interact with him?
Not really, thankfully. He’s always been kind. I don’t think we’ve changed that much. I’m grateful for that.

Though it's true that she and Shahrukh Khan have a very close relationship, that hardly means that they're in a relationship with each other.
The media backlash against Priyanka has been sharp and swift. Shahrukh is painted as the wholesome family man who was lured away by the seductive actress (a narrative which SRK's fans have had a huge hand in perpetuating). Q and A with one of Bollywood's leading ladies:
How was it recording your pop album in Los Angeles?
Oh! There was too much pressure. I was locked inside the studio where I was writing and recording songs. I just shopped for an hour a day.
You made a lot of friends there, including Lady Gaga...
The funny thing is, she was in India while I was in LA. She’s been kind and supportive. She understands what it feels like to be a new artiste. It’s a completely new place, a new culture for me. But all the artistes I met were kind to me. I’m excited about what I’m working on. I hope I don’t let anyone down.
What has the experience taught you?
I’m still learning. I’ve always loved music and been obsessive about it. But I never realised how much goes into making it. It’s a magical process. Writing music is so personal. I realised that all my lyrics are so dark, there’s so much inside me. As actors, we’re so used to being other people that we never face ourselves.
Tell us more about your dark side...
I’m a private person. I don’t open up even to friends or family. But while writing lyrics, something kept pouring out from deep within. It’s not a persecution complex but I’m fascinated by the dark side of life. I’ve always had a bubbly, happy life. My family has been great, so have my friends, but the forbidden fruit has always fascinated me.
I like doing everything I’m told not to. My mother sent me to a hostel because I used to say ‘no’ so often. She always used reverse psychology with me. Maybe, it’s a need to prove that I have a mind of my own. But I’ve been a little on the edge.
How do you deal with pain, heartbreak and loneliness?
By crying. And writing poems.
Does great writing come from heartbreak?
Writing comes from being inspired, it could be heartache or pain. I don’t like pain but I’ve written that I do.
Was your dad’s illness (Dr Ashok Chopra was diagnosed with cancer) a dark phase?
Yes, dad being unwell is very difficult to cope with. You’re never mentally prepared to see your parents weak. For a daughter, her dad is always the tough guy, someone who hates her boyfriend. To see him frail, shook something within me.
Do you feel lighter after expressing all those dark thoughts?
Yes. The process was self-healing. Everything that I felt was put on paper and it was quite scary. Since I’m extremely private, I was wondering if I wanted to share all those thoughts with the world. (Laughs) Ab sab ko sab pata chal jayega (Everyone will know everything) was the thought bubble.
Is making music also living your father’s dream?
Yes, in a big way. It all started off as an opportunity. I wasn’t really looking for one. It was pitched to me and I found it interesting. But I saw the way it lit my dad up. He was thrilled that I was doing this. I felt I was living his dream.
What’s been your aim in cutting an album?
I feel like a debutante once again except that I’m not treated like one. What excites me is the largeness of what I am doing. It’s a big opportunity, not just for me but for the country. We have so much potential here. Bollywood so monopolises our choice of music that there’s no pop culture here. So, it will open a big window for Indian artistes. We needn’t be restricted to just bhangra. We can integrate what the world wants to listen to. Like when Shakira came from Colombia, she brought in her culture in Western music. That’s what I want to do.
Were there any roadblocks?
Lots. My mood was the biggest roadblock. If I was in a bad mood, I faced a writer’s block. I was pushing myself as I had limited time. I’m doing four films this year Agneepath, Teri Meri Kahaani, Barfee and the Krrish sequel. I had to come back within a month and finish my commitments. Plus, I was unwell. You have to be in the right mood to make music. It was so reflective of my mood, it was scary.
Can you share a few lines you’ve written?
I’d rather dance with the sinners than die with the saints, it’s the pain I choose to try like how it tastes/ If today feels like everything will be okay/ Turn around and realise that even heaven needs a hurricane.
Looking back at 2011, what were the highs and lows?
Only 7 Khoon Maaf released last year. It didn’t do well, which was painful. But I’m grateful people appreciated my work. Both Vishal sir (Bhardwaj) and I knew it was a dark movie and would cater to a niche audience. But it still hurt.
What went wrong with 7 Khoon Maaf?
It was a niche film, not a Dostana. It was a black comedy and we knew it wouldn’t appeal to all audiences. But we decided to go ahead and make this film, an uncommon concept in India.
A lot of people felt your make-up went haywire...
Yes, for the older character the prosthetics went wrong. I’m upset about that as I spent six hours every day getting it done.
Did the film take you to another level as an actor?
I don’t want to sound pompous but I do think I’m alright as an actor. And yes, it was incredible that I got to play the life of a woman from 21 to 60.
How important is box office performance?
For me, box office is king. It’s great that people appreciate my work because I work bloody hard. I make sure I’m not mediocre. But beyond that, it’s not in my control and that’s frustrating.
You enjoy challenging yourself, don’t you?
Not just in films but in everything that I do. That’s one of the reasons why I took on music, although it’s scaring the shit out of me. There’s so much expectation. I’m the first from this country to do it.
Reportedly, you had a problem with Lara Dutta during the shooting of Don 2.
That’s wishful thinking. People want me to fight with someone. I could, I am a big fighter. But I’m not confrontational unless someone pisses me off. Lara and I’ve shared a wonderful relationship since our Miss India days. She’s a nice person. Why would I have a problem with her? We didn’t have too many scenes together but our roles coincided in Berlin.
I remember that one night when we were together, we hung out. She told me all about how Mahesh (Bhupathi) proposed. He had just given her the ring. I was 17 when we first met and now I can’t believe she is a mom. I’m going shopping for her baby, we’ve discussed that too.
How did you feel when Shahid Kapoor praised you in a recent interview?
I feel nice when anyone praises me, why just Shahid? I like compliments, which girl doesn’t?
Reportedly, you walked out of an interview as you didn’t want to be clicked together with Shahid?
The brand I was shooting for stopped the interviews as the light was fading. We still had one more shot to do. So we tried to break it up. People misconstrued it as my walking out. I’m shooting with Shahid every single day for Kunal Kohli’s film (Teri Meri Kahaani)! He’s someone I’ve known for long. We get along really well. So, where is this coming from?
How are you dealing with the current reports linking Shah Rukh Khan with you?
They make me angry and upset me a lot.
How have these news reports changed your equation with SRK?
Thankfully, it hasn’t changed my equation with him so far. But there is a possibility of things changing between us. That would be sad and shameful. I would hold people responsible for it all my life. I’ve always stood up for whatever I do and bear the consequences for it. But when it’s not my doing, it makes me angry. It would be sad if our relationship changed.
Is there awkwardness when you interact with him?
Not really, thankfully. He’s always been kind. I don’t think we’ve changed that much. I’m grateful for that.

Arab Idol is a show that needs to appeal to different people, some like to romance, others like to dance. Assaf has that good combination and he is master of his style. He is in it to win it...and he knows hell will break loose if he doe snot bring home the title. He has now become so much bigger than himself, his town in Gaza and no matter what happens next, all eyes will be on him and his next move. He has far more superior sympathetic and supportive votes from around the Arab world--he wins the emotional bank account war. His best chances are with Ragheb Alamah and Ahlam. Among big Arabic names which have declared their support for him, Asalah, Latifa, Assi Hallani and Angham. Sara Farah form Syria also called him the Arab Idol.
The Egyptian Ahmed Gamal had an average night. He was good, but there was no "wow" moment. He did what he has done well in the past, do a mixture of fun songs and dramatic ones. He is a nice guy with a great smile and a warm gestures. I thought his second song was better that his first. He is a shy soul, and the judges sort of like him--his best friend is Nancy Ajram. He has something Assaf does not have, 80 million Egyptians who like to support their home boys and girls. Ahmed might have two curses going for him, the first being an Egyptian and the last person to win Arab Idol also was from Egypt. The second one, he did a top-notch performance of a Mohammad Abdel Wahab song, more than a month ago. Until now I have yet to see the same level of groove on stage. Gamal also has scores of Egyptian celebrities who have rallied around him. Will that translate to votes, I do not really know, but he is a fun act.
Farah Yousef was the bomb, all of sudden she got back in the game and put the best possible version of herself on display. She did touch songs, the crowd loved her and showered her with love throughout her performances. The judges were big fans, I felt Ahlam was a big harsh with her, but she has good points in her critique. In the past I have dismissed her as a pop girl, but as of tonight, I saw she has some real skill, grace and a unique signature voice where her emotions come through every time she works at them. I think she might be the surprise runner up. I thought she was a tough act to follow, but then the judges threw their darts toward her and she got shaken. One should be surprised good art has always come from Syria. She has the velvet soft voice and delicate personality. She is the voice that might bring Syrians back together. I think the music not catching up with her voice is not her entire fault. She has her own style and they work based on timing and blocks. I am seeing many comments about her possible runner up status.
Ziad Khoury, the weakest among the remaining four seems to have had the greatest night of his career. It was like if he was replaced with another person who has charisma, personal connection and someone who wants to fight for the title. I would not be surprised to learn that he had the best coaches as he has really won the night, but it might be too late. His performance was something that he has never done before. His charm and transformation were obvious, Lebanon is back in the ring for one last hooray. He has a style that's very close to Assaf especially in those party songs. Assaf does have something better going for him--he has actually sang in parties and weddings. If Zaid leaves the show, he should walk tall, he has challenged himself and it showed tonight.
I think Assaf has been everyone's favorite to win the title. He is the surprise act, but as of tonight's performance, anyone on the show deserves to win. However, Assaf is a winner who comes from a truly unlikely place, and his win might change a lot of thing. He was never in the danger zone, and has always delivered the songs and the quality entertainment viewers have come to expect form this smooth singer. He can make you cry and convincing you he is bleeding from inside the heart of his hear. When he performs a song it's like he gets in the original artists head and know his way of delivering that song the way he or she did. And the next second he can get you to party like their no tomorrow. He has fans in Yemen, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. He is like a time traveler, he came form the time when great musicians not computers walked on God's earth.

Arguably the biggest heroine in Bollywood, Katrina Kaif's film career has risen to even more stratospheric levels than when we last caught up for Tees Maar Khan. In between takes on her new Yash Chopra production opposite Shah Rukh Khan, Digital Spy sat down with Google India's most-searched celebrity.
Kaif spoke to us about her past five weeks in the UK, why her new project is not called London Ishq, and how UK fans can meet her at a special fundraiser screening of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
How did the idea for a screening come about?
"My brother Michael is studying Furniture Design and Craftsmanship at Bucks New University. They are putting together an event that will raise money for an exhibition which is called New Designers. It is basically giving students an opportunity to exhibit their work and give them a platform to showcase what they are working on, and show their talent.
"So my brother came up with the idea of screening one of my films and doing a question and answer session and a general chat after the screening. I thought that it was a nice idea and I was happy to help him out."
How did you single out Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara over some of your other films like Rajneeti or Namaste London?
"I think it is one of the most current films that I have starred in. The other thing is that my family really liked the film and it is something which they found slightly more relatable. In terms of if you are going to do a discussion of a film at a university, this draws in what I would term the 'new wave' of cinema that we are seeing do well in our industry. It is slightly different from your regular commercial Hindi film, so makes an interesting point of discussion."
What scene from the film are you most proud of that your fans can look out for as they watch?
"If you ask me for my favourite scene, or is it my favourite film or performance that I have done for a film, I don't know if that can be answered. But for me, I feel the film as a whole works. Zoya got together a good group of people to all contribute to the film as a whole. I don't know if one person takes away the glory or the credit of the film. For me it was a team effort."
When Digital Spy asked the same question to Hrithik Roshan, he said his favourite scene was getting to jump out of a plane. But of course you did not get to do that.
"I did not, that is very true. I did get to do underwater scuba diving in the film, playing a diving instructor. That was definitely the most difficult thing that I have ever done. It was extremely terrifying and not something I would particularly want to do again, but I think it works well in the film."

When you meet with your UK fans, do you feel that you act as an inspiration for them to follow their own Bollywood dreams?
"I don't particularly know, and I wouldn't want to make a statement like that, you know to necessarily give that much importance to what I do. But I do think that there is a certain connection. I have spent some years here and my family is here - some of them. I think there is a certain connection, a lot of the films that I have shot here have really worked well for me.
"Every time that I have come here for an interaction - the last time was something we did with a radio station, where we had an audience interaction - it has been so much fun. It is not something I do often, but when I have I have really enjoyed it."
What are you planning to wear for the event? Something that Manish Malhotra suggests or the first thing that you pull out of your wardrobe?
"Actually I think it is going to be whatever I am wearing on set for the film that day, because I'll be coming straight after pack up of the shoot."
Will anybody from the film be accompanying you? Shah Rukh Khan, Yash Chopra? Anupam Kher?
"I am not too sure, I think I will just be coming."
What have been doing over the last five weeks when you have had time off from filming?
"Well, I have been catching up with my family and going out to restaurants, the restaurants here are amazing. I haven't been going out every night so much but have seen a bit of what is out there. I have been out shopping, playing a lot of Scrabble, a lot of card games and just spending time together."
You are coming to the end of your filming schedule in the UK. What is next? More work on this film, or back to Ek Tha Tiger with Salman Khan?
"Yes, I go back to India on the 27th and will start shooting again for Ek Tha Tiger."
What message do you have for your fans about the fundraising event on Saturday?
"It's a very special thing, and close to my heart because obviously I am doing something like this with my brother for the first time. When I usually do events here in the UK I don't always get the chance, so it is something I am really looking forward to.
"It is for a great cause and the students have worked really hard in an industry where - to be completely honest- there isn't the scope to always earn a lot of money in it. It is something they do out of passion. It is an artistic expression, and I can understand that and relate to that in some way, so I think it is something good to support."
What about your sister Isabelle [currently studying at Lee Strasberg Institute]. Any more news on her rumoured launch into Bollywood?
"Right now she is still doing a bit of stuff in America, so let us see what happens after that."
There were many reports in the media about your new Yash Chopra film being called London Ishq.
"It's a nice name, but inappropriate for this film and definitely not the name. That won't be the name."
