Magical Mystery Tour was oorspronkelijk geen album maar een dubbel ep . Het gelijknamige album is toen alleen in de USA uitgebracht, maar daar hebben alle albums andere titels en songs ...
Die mag je dus best even skippen vind ik
Een leuke deze. Ik kom er alleen achter dat er weinig artiesten zijn waarvan je écht kunt zeggen dat ze vier topplaten achter elkaar hebben gemaakt. Naast de grote stapel bands, die er na twee of drie albums mee zijn opgehouden.
Voorbeeld: The Clash. Het debuutalbum, London calling, Sandanista! en Combat rock zijn briljant, maar dan zit daar toch het (in mijn oren) stuk mindere Give 'em enough rope tussen. Dus die valt af. Prince is een geweldige muzikant, maar vier écht goede albums op een rij geef ik hem ook niet. Enfin, mijn uiteindelijke lijstje.
