Ik heb wel soms zitten twijfelen met welk album de serie te beginnen of eindigen... bv Sonic Youth had ook zoner Evol maar met Dirty gekund, of Talking Heads met het debuut zonder Speaking in Tongues en zeker Prince was lastig... maar aangezien Parade nog voor Sign of the Times zit kan ik geen reeks van Purple Rain t/m Sign of the Times maken, dan liever met Controversy en 1999.

Ah ok, dan pas ik m aan

Een leuke deze. Ik kom er alleen achter dat er weinig artiesten zijn waarvan je écht kunt zeggen dat ze vier topplaten achter elkaar hebben gemaakt. Naast de grote stapel bands, die er na twee of drie albums mee zijn opgehouden.

Voorbeeld: The Clash. Het debuutalbum, London calling, Sandanista! en Combat rock zijn briljant, maar dan zit daar toch het (in mijn oren) stuk mindere Give 'em enough rope tussen. Dus die valt af. Prince is een geweldige muzikant, maar vier écht goede albums op een rij geef ik hem ook niet. Enfin, mijn uiteindelijke lijstje.

Heb ik aan gedacht, maar steeds als ik een rijtje van 4 maakte, kwam ik er toch 1 tegen die ik nét iets minder vond. Zeker in vergelijking met de andere rijtjes.

Enige nadeel van deze opdracht is dat er zo veel verschillende lijstjes komen dat dubbelen moeilijk te vinden zijn, maar dat er waarschijnlijk niemand zin heeft om dat uit te zoeken.
