Als het ouderwets leuk wordt, dan zal de controversiële overstap Spijkerman wellicht snel vergeven zijn. Blijkt Koppensnellers niet heel bijzonder, dan staan de media klaar om Jack af te serveren, net zoals dat gebeurde met Beau, Barend & Van Dorp en Café de Sport.

Hoogspanning op de redactie dus? “Er heerst een gezonde spanning rond het programma,” vertelt Kompier. “Maar een nieuw programma is altijd spannend. We zien het met vertrouwen tegemoet.” Of dat vertrouwen terecht is, zien we dit weekend bij Talpa. Maar het zou heel goed kunnen dat er vlak voor de opnames en bij de bekendmaking van de kijkcijfers even stevig op de nageltjes gebeten wordt door Spijkerman en consorten.
