Maar ik ga er wel vanuit dat hij herkozen wordt. En dat het geopolitieke machtsevenwicht versneld naar Azië gaat schuiven.
Het kan zijn dat de VS zich hierna meer isolationeert. Of dat er een oorlog gevonden wordt.

Je mag over alles tevreden zijn. Ik bedoel al was je ook tevreden met de McConnell deal ook prima toch, dan zijn we het totaal oneens. In dit geval denk ik dat de democraten hun huid niet duurgenoeg verkocht hebben, ja ik ben tevreden dat het eerste voorstel niet is aangenomen. Maar dan ben ik nog niet tevreden over het tweede voorstel.quote:

Het geeft aardig weer hoe gestoord de Republikeinen zijn, miljarden voor grote bedrijven geen probleem dat heeft maar matig toezicht nodig. Maar ook Sanders, door velen weggezet als een slechte politicus want niet in staat to compromissen heeft toch wat weten te bereiken. Maar stel je voor dat de democratische partij met zijn allen echt had geknokt voor veranderingen dan was er zeker meer mogelijk. Ik neem het Sanders ook kwalijk dat hij hiervoor heeft gestemd. Van de andere kant zie ik best dat eenzaam strijden tegen deze hervedeling toch nutteloos is. Beter iets dan niets.
