Liever niet, blijft een leuk vakantieland en zelfs in de meest achterlijke MAGA-staten merk je er in de praktijk weinig van dat het land wordt aangestuurd door een volstrekt incompetente, narcistische crimineel.quote:

Ik kijk er toch iets anders tegenaan. Sinds Trump z'n herverkiezing wil ik onder geen beding naar de VS, totdat dat land weer een beetje genormaliseerd is (en ik denk dat dat nog jaren en jaren gaat duren). En sinds dat gedoe met tariffs koop ik ook geen Amerikaanse producten meer. Maar goed, ik ben dan ook redelijk principieel en kan af en toe wel eens doordrijven 😉.

Mja, ik had mijn reis naar de zuidelijke staten al geboekt toen de verkiezingen nog moesten plaatsvinden en ik de Amerikanen minder onnozel had ingeschat, niet gaan was ook niet echt meer een optie, maar het enige dat ik ter plekke van de oranje idioot heb meegekregen is dat men zelfs in het Capitool van Texas of all places protesteerde tegen het absurde vouchersysteem dat tegen de wil van de bevolking is ingevoerd.quote:
