Mueller blijft een Republikein, als hij zijn partij een zelfde aanloop gunt als als de democraten, en reden heeft gevonden die tot een impeachment lijden van Trump, dan zal hij voor die tijd met een rapport moeten komen. In ieder geval ergens rond Augustus als het erg genoeg is dat hij moet aftreden.
Als hij later komt zit je in de primaries en hebben de republikeinen een groot probleem.

Met zulke opmerkingen speelt ze in op Trumpʼs minderwaardigheidscomplex. Het brengt Trump tot razernij wanneer iemand in zulke “lage” termen over hem spreekt, hem minder belangrijk maakt dan zijn positie veronderstelt, hem met een wegwerpgebaar kleineert tot een voetnoot in de geschiedenis.
En als Trump boos is, gaat ie domme dingen roepen. Hij laat zich uit zʼn kooi lokken als een getergd en hongerig zwijn. Dat is precies waar Nancy Pelosi op uit is met zoʼn opmerking.
