Iemand al Workaholics gezien ? De eerste aflevering was zo fout dat ie goed was

Dat iedereen Happy Endings zo leuk vind. Ik heb de eerste 2 afleveringen gezien en ik vond het niet bepaald denderend. Veel te voor de hand liggende grappen die al zo vaak zijn gedaan.

Workaholics is echt zo dom dat het wel leuk is, Happy Endings begint wat zwakjes, maar is wel te volgen, net als Mad Love.

Gelukkig hebben we altijd nog Community!

Atlantis gisteren (meen ik) op tv gezien, maar ik dacht dat het een docu was? Althans zo stond het in de info van de epg van mijn digitale tv. Ik zal dat topic eens bekijken van je.

die vulkaan ontploffing was wel tof, kwam het toevallig bij het zappen tegen. Dikke aanrader als het inderdaad een serie is (ik heb het einde niet gezien omdat ik voetbal ging kijken). Mmm, zie nu op de site van de bbc dat het een docudrama is.

Het lijkt meer een docuserie te zijn ja, weet niet of er echt character building is.

Ik haal hem nog wel even van usenet om hem af te zien, na die ontploffing met die drukgolf, dat was zeer mooi gefilmd. Echt fantastisch gedaan, net een film met een miljoenenbudget.

Niemand hier die breakout kings kijkt? Of was die in een vorige reeks voorbijgekomen. Ik vind dat een vermakelijke serie, al weet ik niet of ik een volgend seizoen ga meepakken, zo heel veel veranderingen zitten er niet in. Maar aflevering 3 met die vent uit prison break is erg vermakelijk.

Presumably, this is followed by a no-holds barred war in which only one woman will remain standing.

Awake

The Firm

Smash

Prime Suspect
Jane Timoney, a tough-as-nails detective, finds that being a homicide detective in New York City is tough enough and having to contend with a male-dominated police department to get respect makes it that much tougher. New Comedies

Free Agents
“Free Agents” is a crooked workplace/romantic new comedy from creator John Enbom (“Party Down”) and Emmy Award-winning director Todd Holland (“Malcolm in the Middle”) based on the cult U.K. series of the same name that explores the trials and tribulations of two public relations executives on the rebound. Alex (Hank Azaria, “The Simpsons,” “Huff”) is newly divorced and can barely keep himself together while his co-worker Helen (Kathryn Hahn, “Hung”) thinks she has it together but is obsessed with her deceased fiancé and actually is falling apart. Then a drunken Alex and Helen end up in bed together, and in the resulting sober confusion, Helen decides that they should only be friends. Meanwhile Alex’s co-workers, Dan and Gregg, and Stephen (Anthony Head, “Merlin,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) fail in their attempts to help him get back out on the dating scene. When Alex finally agrees to a date, Helen gets a little jealous, and he gets cold feet, so they end up back where they started — in a casual, intimate and beautifully awkward relationship.

Up All Night
“Up All Night,” a modern take on Parenthood that shows the challenges of balancing a career, marriage and a new baby. Christina Applegate (“Samantha Who?”) stars as Reagan, a successful public relations executive, and Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”) plays Chris, Reagan’s supportive, stay-at-home husband. The two have just become parents – a surprise that has set their lives on a new path as responsible adults — for the most part. Maya Rudolph stars as Ava, Reagan’s outlandish boss and best friend, whose whirlwind social escapades serve as constant reminders of Reagan’s former carefree life. James Pumphrey portrays Brian, Reagan’s socially awkward hipster assistant.

Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea
“Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea,” follows the exploits of twentysomething bartender Chelsea (Laura Prepon, “That ’70s Show”) a strong-willed force of nature who is determined to live life to the fullest and make no apologies. Her friends are along for the ride but they all know it is Chelsea’s way or the highway. Mark is a charming bartender whose wit makes him the perfect foil for Chelsea while Shoniqua is a smart and sassy fellow waitress who looks out for Chelsea’s best interests. Close friend and fellow bartender Todd has a wry sense of humor that keeps her in check.

Best Friends Forever
“Best Friends Forever” is a single-camera comedy that takes a look at what happens when best friends promise to support each other — no matter what the cost or circumstances. When Jessica’s husband files for divorce, she immediately seeks comfort and flies across the country to move back in with her best friend, Lennon. Unfortunately, Lennon’s boyfriend, Joe, has just moved into the apartment and has turned Jessica’s old room into his perfect home office. As Lennon and Jessica fall into their old routines — beloved traditions, Steel Magnolia marathons and epic girl-talk sessions — Joe begins to feel as if he’s the odd man out. Bent
“Bent” is a new romantic comedy about two people who suddenly find themselves attracted to the qualities that typically repel them. On the surface, Alex and Pete could not be more different. The recently divorced Alex is a resilient and tough lawyer who now is raising her eight-year-old daughter, Charlie, as a single mom. Unwilling to let anything get in her way, she downsizes into a smaller house, and she hires Pete, a recovering gambling addict and unapologetic womanizer, as the contractor to re-do her kitchen. The remodeling job is Pete’s last chance to prove that he is no longer a screw-up — but he doesn’t know what’s about to hit him when he encounters the force of nature that is Alex — nor does she realize that she’s met her match in Pete, a man unafraid to call out her flaws. Jeffrey Tambor (“Arrested Development”) also stars as Pete’s father, Walt, an out-of-work actor, while Margo Harshman stars as Alex’s wild younger sister Screwsie.

Whitney
A hilarious look at modern love, “Whitney” is a new multi-camera comedy series about Whitney (Whitney Cummings) and Alex, a happily unmarried couple. Together for five years, the duo is in no rush to get hitched. However, after attending yet another one of their friends’ weddings, Whitney realizes that she and Alex are dangerously close to relationship boredom. Determined not to let that happen, Whitney consults her close circle of opinionated girlfriends — including Lily and Roxanne — and then snaps into action. A few awkward sexy costumes and one botched seductive evening later, the couple ends up in the emergency room. Even so, Whitney and Alex realize that while their relationship might not be perfect on paper, they really do love each other — and that works for them.

Het zijn nog maar previews, maar ik moet zeggen dat Whitney voor mij nu al als slechtste uit de bus komt. Grimm op de vrijdag na Chuck tegen Fringe en mogelijk Supernatural. Succes.

Als ik de beschrijvingen zo lees en wat de previews tonen kijk ik wel uit naar The Playboy Club en Awake. The Firm en Free Agents hebben ook wel wat interesse gewekt.

Wonder Woman, de meest besproken nieuwe serie, is uiteindelijk niet meegenomen in NBC's line-up. Het kostuum en de pilot werden voornamelijk negatief beoordeeld.

Als ik het zo lees dan wordt Grimm OF briljant OF ongelooflijk slecht

van Whitney had ik 8 seconden in de preview wel genoeg gezien. Dat filmpje van Awake is wel tof en de rest doet mij niet zoveel dus dat wordt afwachten (hoop dat de Will Arnett komedie beter is dan die preview doet vermoeden ).

Alle previews gezien en whitney was ik na 2 sec al klaar mee wat slecht zeg :S
Enigste wat er echt erg goed uit ziet is awake heel benieuwd naar jammer dat het mid-season pas is.

De Defenders is exit, evenals $#*! My Dad Says, Perfect Couples en Mad love...

Bones is tamelijk beroerd, dus ik denk niet dat The Finder boeiend wordt. Maar who knows, even de kritieken afwachten. Voor de rest word ik totaal niet vrolijk van Amerikaanse comedy's of animatieseries.

Chuck - mocht wel stoppen, maar komt nog 5e seizoen

Breaking In - cancelled
Mad Love - cancelled
Traffic Light - cancelled (denk ik)

Breakout Kings - nog geen idee, wel leuk op zich
Workaholics - vast eerste en laatste seizoen

Raising Hope - verwacht wel een 2e seizoen
Happy Endings - denk ook wel een 2e seizoen
Mr. Sunhine - hoop wel op een 2e seizoen

Waarom kijk je zoveel bagger eigenlijk? Is een kwaliteitsserie als Sons of Anarchy of Boardwalk Empire gewoon niet aan jou besteedt?

Ik heb niks met series die zich vroeger afspelen of over een motorbende ofzo. Ik hou van humor, feelgood, chicks, auto's en dikke huizen.

Films vind ik mooi als ze diepgaand zijn, ben ook een echte filmliefhebber, series kijk ik tussendoor als ik me verveel of even nergens aan wil denken, of juist aan iets anders dan wat ik aan mn kop heb.

Alcatraz ga ik zeker kijken.

Na het lezen van de beschrijving van I Hate My Teenage Daughter was ik zeker geïnteresseerd, alleen bevalt Jaime Pressly (“My Name Is Earl”) me niet echt. We zullen dus wel zien of het in de praktijk ook echt wat wordt.

New Girl - Zooey

Ik kon mijn interesse niet lang vasthouden toen ik Bones meerdere keren probeerde te volgen, dus spin-off The Finder ga ik zo goed als zeker niet kijken.

Het idee van Touch heeft me nog niet echt overtuigd. Wel ben ik benieuwd naar een nieuwe serie van Tim Kring en met Kiefer Sutherland.

Het is nu wachten wat de critici en de serieliefhebbers te zeggen hebben over de pilots.

Ik hoop zelf dat de nieuwe serie met Kiefer Sutherland een actie serie gaat worden, maar als ik zo het verhaal lees heb je ook kans op een zoetsappig vader-zoon verhaal waar ik niet op zit te wachten.

Boardwalk Empire vond ik eigenlijk tamelijk saai. Als het gaat om kwaliteitsseries zijn in mijn ogen Deadwood, Mad Men en Breaking Bad meer aanraders. Vooral Deadwood is meesterlijk en daarom vind ik het jammer dat Boardwalk Empire niet die HBO-magie wist te pakken.

NBC New Show Trailers











Awake stijgt er qua trailer en idee ver bovenuit als je het vergelijkt met de rest.

Het gaat me benieuwen of The Playboy Club wel geschikt is voor een netwerkzender als NBC. Persoonlijk denk ik dat NBC hier geen grote groep kijkers mee gaat trekken en redelijk snel in gevaar kan komen, zodra men een beeld heeft wat The Playboy Club allemaal heeft te bieden.
Het hangt er ook vanaf of NBC weer hoogmoedig wordt of meer realistisch blijft en series de kans geeft om een publiek op te bouwen.

Prime Suspect trailer beviel me wel. Vooral de interactie tussen de hoofdrolspelers.

Grimm is meer een recap van de eerste aflevering dan een trailer.

I hate my teenage daughter is totaal niet wat ik verwachtte. Deze laat ik dan ook zeer waarschijnlijk langs me heen gaan.

Hmm Terra Nova lijkt me wel awesome.
Alcatraz sla ik maar even over denk ik, als het echt goed blijkt te zijn kan ik alsnog kijken maar ik ben er eerlijk gezegd bang voor.
New Girl zag er ook wel lachen uit, alleen lijken me die drie kerels een beetje matig gecast...

Nee, januari 2012 voor zover dat nu vaststaat.

Nu ik lees dat Grimm van de makers van Angel en Buffy zijn (zonder Joss) ga ik die wel proberen .

Grimm ziet er leuk uit inderdaad, maar ik weet het nooit zo met die trailers. Het kan er heel leuk uitzien en dan is de serie zelf slecht (of andersom).

Ik hoop dat Grimm iets "zwaarder" is dan Angel en Buffy, iets meer voor de mannen zeg maar. De trailer geeft wel dat beeld. Maar de markt voor vampierseries voor meiden is nogal groot in Amerika, even afwachten wat het gaat worden.

Dat preview filmpje ziet er wel tof uit, mooie effecten. Maar bij dit soort series weet je het niet. Het kan goed worden (zie supernatural). Iets minder vampireachtige shit, maar meer horrorachtig zou mooi zijn.

Grimm... na het zien van de preview heb ik het idee dat ik de hele ep al gezien heb

ABC's The River en Pan Am lijken me ook wel de moeite

Ik ben tot dusver vooral benieuwd naar Terra Nova, Falling Skies, Awake, Alcatraz en Grimm. Benieuwd wat daar nog bijkomt als ik de trailers van zenders zoals ABC en CBS maar ook HBO heb gezien.

Net de trailer van Alcatraz gezien.. heeft potentie

Trailers van de nieuwe ABC series zullen waarschijnlijk vanavond laat of vannacht verschijnen.
De previews staan al wel online.

Hahaha, Mad Men is pas dodelijk saai. Dat is pure style over substance. Wat een goedkope (of dure) soap is dat . Boardwalk Empire heeft wel saaie momentjes, maar het verhaal is fantastisch.

Alcatraz ziet er wel aardig uit; Prison Break 2.0? . Beetje jammer dat die dikke van Lost meespeelt, dat maakt het allemaal weer ongeloofwaardig en irritant.

Hell on Wheels lijkt me afschuwelijk, maar ik heb dan ook een stronthekel aan westerns en gekke indianen waar ik altijd om moet lachen.

Ik wou net iets soortgelijks schrijven, beetje erg uitgebreide preview.

Alcatraz trailer oogt wel ok, Terra Nova lijkt qua verhaal wel intressant, maar als ik de filmstijl en acteurs zie vrees ik dat het niets voor mij zal worden.

Is die serie met Kiefer Sutherland en de schrijver van Heroes eigenlijk nog opgepikt? Zo ja, dan ben ik daar ook wel benieuwd naar.

Grimm, leuk voor de vampiersletjes onder ons. Maar als je die trailer bekijkt, lijkt het net of je de hele serie al gezien hebt. Wat gaat die hoofdrolspeler nog meer doen besides de hele tijd op die mensbeesten jagen? Boring.

Alleen Awake ziet er echt goed uit, maar je moet maar van die drama houden.
