De dubbele aflevering van Happy Endings waren een stuk beter dan ik had verwacht.
Blijvertje dus.
Breaking In heeft me na 2 afleveringen nog niet helemaal overtuigd.
Er zitten zo af en toe wel leuke momenten tussen, dus ik kijk het nog even aan.

Ik twijfel of ik Game of Thrones wil gaan volgen of eerst de boeken lezen. Ik hoor van iedereen dat de boeken heel goed zijn maar de schrijver het laatste boek niet af wil maken ofzo? Heb niet zo'n zin om met een cliffhanger te eindigen 
Vanavond begint de The Paul Reiser Show en eigenlijk was ik niet van plan om te kijken, maar ik las net dat Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm / Seinfeld) een gastrol heeft in de pilot.

Happy Endings binnen gehaald voor vanavond of morgen, 2e aflevering van Breaking In viel wat tegen, maar wat is die vrouw nice zeg!
Ik zou eerst het boek lezen denk ik... Wel kort dag nuquote:

Haha, net de 3e en 4e aflevering van Happy Endings gekeken, echt een grappige serie. Ik zet hem denk ik gelijk met Raising Hope. Hitler Hitler Hitler.
Inmiddels zijn alle pilots van zomer 2010 tot en met midseason 2011 nu wel uitgezonden, alleen van NBC's Friends With Benefits hebben we niks meer gehoord.
Daarnaast was er ook nog de serie Love Bites, maar volgens mij gaat die serie er nooit meer komen.
Terra Nova was al geruime tijd opgeschoven naar het volgende tv-seizoen.
De eerstvolgende pilot is, zoals het er nu naar uit ziet, de sci-fi Falling Skies die 19 juni op TNT begint.

Games of Thrones kijk ik nu en dat is een dikke aanrader. Vooral de muziek / geluidseffecten zijn erg erg goed, beter dan de gemiddelde bioscoopfilm. Met een koptelefoon op luisteren is een heel nieuwe ervaring, vooral de scene in het bos aan het begin van episode 1. Nu lees ik ook die boeken en ik maak me wel zorgen over seizoen 2, er is een vermoeden dat de serie dan de boeken wat losser gaat laten en daar word ik persoonlijk meestal niet zo blij van.
Voor de rest pak ik wel een paar nieuwe series mee, maar loop wat achter en kijk momenteel series voorjaar 2010... te veel moois de laatste tijd en te weinig tijd.

Ik haal hem nog wel even van usenet om hem af te zien, na die ontploffing met die drukgolf, dat was zeer mooi gefilmd. Echt fantastisch gedaan, net een film met een miljoenenbudget.

The other two new series are The Finder, a Bones spinoff starring Geoff Stults that all Bones fans seemed pissed off about when the back-door pilot aired a few weeks ago, and I Hate My Teenage Daughter, a multi-camera comedy starring Jaime Pressly as a mother who grew up tormented by “mean girls” and now realizes her own daughter has become one of those mean girls. Presumably, this is followed by a no-holds barred war in which only one woman will remain standing.

van Whitney had ik 8 seconden in de preview wel genoeg gezien. Dat filmpje van Awake is wel tof en de rest doet mij niet zoveel dus dat wordt afwachten (hoop dat de Will Arnett komedie beter is dan die preview doet vermoeden ).

Ik heb niks met series die zich vroeger afspelen of over een motorbende ofzo. Ik hou van humor, feelgood, chicks, auto's en dikke huizen.quote:

Het idee van Touch heeft me nog niet echt overtuigd. Wel ben ik benieuwd naar een nieuwe serie van Tim Kring en met Kiefer Sutherland.

Ik hoop zelf dat de nieuwe serie met Kiefer Sutherland een actie serie gaat worden, maar als ik zo het verhaal lees heb je ook kans op een zoetsappig vader-zoon verhaal waar ik niet op zit te wachten.
Boardwalk Empire vond ik eigenlijk tamelijk saai. Als het gaat om kwaliteitsseries zijn in mijn ogen Deadwood, Mad Men en Breaking Bad meer aanraders. Vooral Deadwood is meesterlijk en daarom vind ik het jammer dat Boardwalk Empire niet die HBO-magie wist te pakken.quote:

Awake stijgt er qua trailer en idee ver bovenuit als je het vergelijkt met de rest.
Het gaat me benieuwen of The Playboy Club wel geschikt is voor een netwerkzender als NBC. Persoonlijk denk ik dat NBC hier geen grote groep kijkers mee gaat trekken en redelijk snel in gevaar kan komen, zodra men een beeld heeft wat The Playboy Club allemaal heeft te bieden.
Het hangt er ook vanaf of NBC weer hoogmoedig wordt of meer realistisch blijft en series de kans geeft om een publiek op te bouwen.
Prime Suspect trailer beviel me wel. Vooral de interactie tussen de hoofdrolspelers.

Terra Nova en Alcatraz ga ik wel volgen, de rest zie ik wel een keertje langskomen. Dat New Girl trekt me iig niet zo
Grimm ziet er leuk uit inderdaad, maar ik weet het nooit zo met die trailers. Het kan er heel leuk uitzien en dan is de serie zelf slecht (of andersom).
Ik hoop dat Grimm iets "zwaarder" is dan Angel en Buffy, iets meer voor de mannen zeg maar. De trailer geeft wel dat beeld. Maar de markt voor vampierseries voor meiden is nogal groot in Amerika, even afwachten wat het gaat worden.

Dat preview filmpje ziet er wel tof uit, mooie effecten. Maar bij dit soort series weet je het niet. Het kan goed worden (zie supernatural). Iets minder vampireachtige shit, maar meer horrorachtig zou mooi zijn.quote:

ABC's The River en Pan Am lijken me ook wel de moeite

Ik ben tot dusver vooral benieuwd naar Terra Nova, Falling Skies, Awake, Alcatraz en Grimm. Benieuwd wat daar nog bijkomt als ik de trailers van zenders zoals ABC en CBS maar ook HBO heb gezien.
Net de trailer van Alcatraz gezien.. heeft potentie

Boardwalk Empire vond ik eigenlijk tamelijk saai. Als het gaat om kwaliteitsseries zijn in mijn ogen Deadwood, Mad Men en Breaking Bad meer aanraders. Vooral Deadwood is meesterlijk en daarom vind ik het jammer dat Boardwalk Empire niet die HBO-magie wist te pakken.
. Boardwalk Empire heeft wel saaie momentjes, maar het verhaal is fantastisch.

Alcatraz ziet er wel aardig uit; Prison Break 2.0? 
. Beetje jammer dat die dikke van Lost meespeelt, dat maakt het allemaal weer ongeloofwaardig en irritant.
Hell on Wheels lijkt me afschuwelijk, maar ik heb dan ook een stronthekel aan westerns en gekke indianen waar ik altijd om moet lachen.

Alcatraz trailer oogt wel ok, Terra Nova lijkt qua verhaal wel intressant, maar als ik de filmstijl en acteurs zie vrees ik dat het niets voor mij zal worden.

Awake stijgt er qua trailer en idee ver bovenuit als je het vergelijkt met de rest.
Het gaat me benieuwen of The Playboy Club wel geschikt is voor een netwerkzender als NBC. Persoonlijk denk ik dat NBC hier geen grote groep kijkers mee gaat trekken en redelijk snel in gevaar kan komen, zodra men een beeld heeft wat The Playboy Club allemaal heeft te bieden.
Het hangt er ook vanaf of NBC weer hoogmoedig wordt of meer realistisch blijft en series de kans geeft om een publiek op te bouwen.
Prime Suspect trailer beviel me wel. Vooral de interactie tussen de hoofdrolspelers.
Grimm is meer een recap van de eerste aflevering dan een trailer.
Alleen Awake ziet er echt goed uit, maar je moet maar van die drama houden.
