De Rep. memo stelt dat er bij de aanvraag niet vermeld is dat Clinton het dossier gefinancierd heeft terwijl de Dem. memo aangeeft dat de FBI vermeld heeft dat het dossier 'politically motivated' was. De rechter wist dus dat het om een partisan dossier ging.

However, separately the Trump campaign which spent $1.1 million on legal fees last quarter included a $10,000 payment to the same law firm for “legal consulting,” according to FEC filings. A source with knowledge says the campaign did hire the law firm to start the fund, but that the campaign will have no role in the day to day management or the funding of the project.

A current Trump campaign official declined to comment when reached by ABC News.

Laatst nog een mooie discussie gezien van ruim 2 uur bij de Rubin Report met Ben Shapiro, Rubin en Jordan Peterson. Wat Trump en Kekistan ons hebben geleerd is dat je dan niet moet wijken voor de cultuur marxisten, maar juist ongeacht de aanvallen fier overeind moet blijven staan en keihard terug moet slaan. Vanzelf blazen zij die de leer van identity politics, de eenzijdige media berichtgeving van soundbytes en cultuur relativisme bewust of onbewust volgen zichzelf op. De purity tests eindigen altijd bij een zuivering van de eigen gelederen, zie Hollywood en The Young Turks "Justice Democrats".

Je hoeft niet verder te kijken dan Rose McGowan om het effect van identity politics te zien. Een week geleden een feministische held, nu uitgekotst, omdat ze niet wil dat transseksuelen de aandacht voor vrouwen issues versplinteren.

Ik zit zelf een beetje tussen Peterson en Scott Adams in. Aan de ene kant een fel tegenstander van de marxistische/progressieve wind die waait in veel instituten, zoals Peterson aan de andere kant zie ik meer in de humoristische/troll benadering van Adams dan het opgeheven vingertje van Peterson. Feit is dat een Adams of Peterson nooit verder komt dan vanaf de zijlijn roepen, omdat zij niet het narcistische/egotrippende trekje hebben dat je nodig hebt als wereldleider. Vandaar dat je bij wereldleiders altijd eindigt met een blaaskaak als Donald Trump en Nixon of iemand met een messias complex als Obama, Kennedy, Bush of Reagan of je eindigt met totale corruptie, zoals Clinton, Yeltsin of Putin. De wat je noemt 'integere' presidenten als Gorbachev, Carter en H.W. Bush waren allemaal goed voor 1 termijn.

Russian Spies Tried to Recruit Carter Page Before He Advised Trump

The businessman, Carter Page, met with one of three Russians who were eventually charged with being undeclared officers with Russia’s foreign intelligence service, known as the S.V.R. The F.B.I. interviewed Mr. Page in 2013 as part of an investigation into the spy ring, but decided that he had not known the man was a spy, and the bureau never accused Mr. Page of wrongdoing.

The court documents say that Mr. Page, who founded an investment company in New York called Global Energy Capital, provided documents about the energy business to one of the Russians, Victor Podobnyy, thinking he was a businessman who could help with brokering deals in Russia.

In fact, Mr. Podobnyy was an S.V.R. officer posing as an attaché at the Russian mission to the United Nations.

Court documents do not identify Mr. Page, but the details in a statement he emailed to reporters on Tuesday match the individual described as “Male-1” in the court case. Mr. Page’s contact with the Russian spy was first reported on Monday by BuzzFeed News.
