Ze hebben maanden training gehad op een F16 en of dat een beetje goed is gegaan moet nog helemaal blijken, want het viel wel meer zwaar tegen wat ze in Europa geleerd hadden als je de offensieven bekijkt.

Dat hangt van de wetten/afspraken af. In Amerika staat bijvoorbeeld in de wet dat NAVO landen voorrang hebben. En dat er nog een aantal andere preferente landen zijn die voorrang hebben.quote:

Natuurlijk ligt het iets genuanceerder. En zijn er vast wel argumenten/manieren te bedenken waarbij een land die niet preferent is toch iets eerder geleverd kan worden.
Maar als jij bijvoorbeeld in de winkel iets reserveert en wanneer dat eindelijk geleverd wordt. Dan kan de winkel ook niet zomaar dit gereserveerde product aan iemand anders geven. Omdat er met deze reservering een overeenkomst tot stand is gekomen (al zal hiervoor niet snel naar de rechter gegaan worden natuurlijk, gelijk hebben en gelijk krijgen zijn twee hele verschillende dingen)

Want ik heb namelijk niet het idee dat rus graag geld wil lenen, omdat ze geld tekort komen om in china halffabrikaten/grondstoffen te kopen. Ik denk een beetje de kant op van je eigen Sovereign Wealth Fund uitgeput hebben, iig mbt USD en EUR.
rus wil geld, zeker ook omdat te kunnen converteren naar worldcurrency number 1 and 2: USD en EUR.
Dan betekent rus nu een bak geld geven dat die dat gewoon een groot gedeelte op de markt gaan pleuren om het om te wisselen naar USD/EUR.
En dat heeft direct invloed op de koers van de yuan.

Starting February 26, 2024, Russia will be divided into five military districts: Moscow, Leningrad, Southern, Central, and Eastern.
According to the new decree, the occupied Ukrainian territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions are included in the Southern Military District.
The Leningrad Military District includes the republics of Karelia and Komi, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the city of St. Petersburg, as well as the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Murmansk, Novgorod, and Pskov regions.
The Moscow Military District includes the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tula, and Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Russian capital, Moscow.
Reorganization
The new division and reorganization of the Russian army are associated with a revision of the balance of power, which is taking place after Finland’s accession to NATO and Sweden’s potential accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.
As of 2022, the Western Military District, from which the Moscow and Leningrad Military Districts are to be created, had under its command the 1st Tank Army, the 6th and 20th Combined Arms Armies, the 6th Air and Air Defense Forces Army, and the Baltic Fleet with the 11th Army Corps (Kaliningrad).
With the emergence of the occupied territories, the Southern District should officially receive the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the unrecognized republics, which are already under the control of the Russian Federation.

Nevertheless, the plan for February 2024 to produce 130 missiles signals the ongoing escalation in production by the russian federation. Notably, in August 2023, Vadym Skibitsky disclosed that russia aimed to achieve a production figure of 118 long-range missile units that month, comprising 72 cruise missiles of diverse types, 30 ballistic missiles for the Iskander system and 16 supersonic missiles, including 6 Kinzhal missiles.

Wat een bullshit reden weer. Het hele westen is indirect al betrokken bij de oorlog. Of in elk geval bij het verdedigen van Oekrane. Het leveren van Taurus raketten zal echt geen escalatie betekenen. At the same time, German MPs backed the governing parties' proposal to aid Ukraine, which included a call to provide Kyiv with long-range systems. The Taurus cruise missiles are not specifically mentioned in the proposal.

German officials are holding secret talks with India to purchase ammunition for Ukraine.

Details: According to the German newspaper, an informal group of officers, diplomats and civil servants from the chancellery, finance and economic departments meet in Berlin every two weeks.
They brainstorm which countries to approach seeking aid for Ukraine, which might still have stockpiles of munitions, and how to convince them.
According to government sources, almost any proposal is fair game in these negotiations, regardless of how implausible it may seem at first glance.
India, for example, still has relatively large stockpiles of artillery shells totalling several hundred thousand rounds, according to insiders. But the Indian government, which still maintains cordial relations with Moscow, will not admit to wanting to sell any, if it is indeed willing.
"As a result, covert negotiations are underway to see if the ammunition can be obtained through intermediaries," the article says.
Similar deals, Berlin says, are possible with Arab countries, some of which have large stockpiles. The experts say that there are also states in the Balkans and Africa that still have stockpiles - or may even produce new ammunition.

In a conversation with Dimytro Kuleba, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell promised to supply Ukraine with almost 170,000 shells by the end of March.
In March 2023, the EU reached an agreement to provide Ukraine with one million rounds of ammunition in a year's time, but did not reach this goal. As of now, the EU has provided 355,000 rounds and plans to provide 1,155,000 by the end of the year.
Earlier this week, the EU's top diplomat sent a letter to the foreign ministers and defence ministers of member states calling for everything possible to be done to provide Ukraine with the ammunition.

• On February 12, the Lithuanian Seimas approved a proposal to extend national sanctions against Russian and Belarusian citizens for another year and to tighten checks on the entry of Belarusians into the country.
• On February 22, the Latvian Saeima passed a decision to ban the import of agricultural products and animal feed from Russia and Belarus.
• On February 22, the Czech government agreed to the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make the ban on issuing visas and residence permits to Russians and Belarusians indefinite.
