Ik ben al meerdere schattingen tegengekomen van tussen de 45.000 en 50.000 verliezen. Dit zal ongetwijfeld een combinatie zijn van doden en zwaar gewonden. Daar ik eerder al een schatting tegen kwam van 15.000 doden aan Russische zijde.

En ik weet ook niet over welke periode dit is. Daar de Russen al vanaf het begin van de oorlog (nu bijna twee jaar) aan het vechten zijn geweest voor Avdiivka. Al verwacht ik dat deze cijfers vanaf oktober zijn, toen ze er vol voor zijn gegaan.

Natuurlijk is het wachten op meer offici�le cijfers, als die er al komen. Al zie ik dat deze cijfers door het ministerie van defensie van Oekra�ne bevestigd zijn.
