In 2006 werd de verkoop van de MotoGP aan CVC, dat toen de commerciële rechten had van de F1, nog tegengehouden door de Europese Commissie. Benieuwd waarom ze het nu wel door zouden laten gaan. De MotoGP en F1 zijn nu groter dan toen, imho.
