Was geen die hard fan van Depeche Mode (misschien meer van Vince Clark en diens projecten), maar ik heb de voetjes vaak van de vloer gehad op muziek van de band.

Wel heel maf: heb de laatste weken af en toe (weer) muziek gedraaid van zowel Depeche Mode als Yes... en dan deze hemelvaartsberichten.

Alweer in januari maar toen niet gemeld in het topic, James Mtume. Mij voornamelijk bekend als percussionist in mijn favoriete incarnatie van Miles Davis' band (1973-1975), maar daarna ook de nodige sporen verdiend in de R&B.

Als Henderson één album eerder met Miles was gaan spelen, dan had er geen enkel Miles album in mijn top 5 gestaan waar hij niet op speelde (ik kan Bitches Brew niet weglaten uit mjn top 5). Dit was de periode dat Miles meer en meer ruimte gaf aan de groove en Henderson was de perfecte bassist om daar een bodem onder te leggen. 71 is te jong.
