Welkom in het Nintendo Switch-topic op FOK! Wat is Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo Switch is de nieuwste console van Nintendo en de opvolger van WiiU. De basis van Switch is een tablet-achtig apparaat (6,2 inch scherm, 720p) die je thuis in een docking station zet maar net zo gemakkelijk mee neemt op reis. In de preview trailer wordt het hele concept in iets meer dan drie minuten uitgelegd en beter kunnen wij het ook niet uitleggen.
Tof! Wanneer kan ik ermee spelen?
Sinds 3 maart 2017 is de Switch, die regiovrij is, wereldwijd te koop. In Nederland ligt de prijs op zo'n 329 euro en voor dat geld krijg je de Switch, twee Joycon-controllers, een Joycon Grip, een docking station (met adapter) en een HDMI-kabel. Er wordt geen game meegeleverd tenzij het een speciale bundel betreft (de prijs ligt dan uiteraard wat hoger).
Switch 2019-model
Sinds de zomer van 2019 is er een nieuwe versie van de Nintendo Switch verschenen. Deze heeft vooral een langere batterijduur in handheldmode, zo'n vijf uur tegenover drie van het launch model. De 2019-versie gaat momenteel voor 329 euro en het oude model (mits nog voorradig) is dan vaak een paar tientjes goedkoper.
Switch Lite
Op 20 september verscheen de Switch Lite. Dit is een handheld only variant; zonder losse Joycon en zonder mogelijkheid om op de tv te spelen. De prijs ligt dan ook zo'n 100 euro lager. De Switch Lite is er in vier varianten: Turquoise, Geel, Grijs en een Pokemon limited edition die ietsje duurder is.

Advance Wars was het spel waarvoor ik in 2003 als jonge knul mijn GBA SP kocht.

Mn twee favoriete game series in een crossover, had ik echt niet verwacht.
Verder eindelijk een steengoede direct zeg, veel shit die me interessant lijkt. Wario Ware, Shin Megaten 5, Fatal Frame, Monkey Ball, Danganronpa heb ik helaas laatst alle verhalen van zitten kijken, anders die ook wel, die Mario Party zou eventueel wel iets kunnen worden, maar ben bang dat die gaat tegenvallen.
En BOTW2 natuurlijk, je kon nog weinig zien, maar lijkt alsof spelen met tijd erin zit. Interessant in elk geval. Benieuwd hoeveel die gaat verschillen van het origineel.

Trails into Reverie is de 10e game en zou ik zeker niet als eerste spelen. Die game gaat ervan uit dat je de vorige delen hebt gespeeld.
Trails from Zero en Trails to Azure zijn de 4e/5e game. Die zou je als eerste kunnen spelen hoewel er een paar verhaallijnen uit de eerdere games zijn. Ik raad altijd aan met Trails in the Sky (FC = First Chapter) of Trails of Cold Steel (1) te beginnen.
Het valt me tegen dat ze Zero (2022) en Azure pas in 2023 uitbrengen. Die zijn op fanvertalingen gebaseerd dus het wachten lijkt puur op een Nintendo Switch en PC versie.
Op PSP kan ik de store niet meer benaderen omdat de PSP mijn wifi niet ondersteund Jij nog een idee?

XSEED heeft de eerste games vertaald en uitgebracht in de VS, maar Ghostlight heeft de eerste game uitgebracht in Europa. De licentie hebben ze nooit verlengd waardoor alleen deel 2 in Europa te koop is.
Ik zou sowieso voor de PC versie gaan. Die heeft een betere vertaling, HD art en QoL extra's.

ondanks de vele negatieve reviews toch maar Moto Racer 4 gekocht voor een euro En ik moet zeggen dat het eigenlijk best een prima racegame is (tot nu toe iig). Wel 1 level waar de framerate nogal naar de klote gaat maar afgezien van dat is t een lekker snelle racer. Graphics klein beetje blurry maar wel mooi opzich. Besturing ook prima.
