BREAKING: GOP Senators Reveal Contents of Redacted Fauci Letter – HHS Hid His Collaboration with Dr. Daszak and Wuhan Lab

On Thursday Republican Senators Ron Johnson, Rand Paul, James Lankford, Rick Scott, and Josh Hawley sent a letter to Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Senator Gary Peters.

The letter was to inform Peters that the Biden HHS and NIH was refusing to produce all unredacted copies of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails, some of which had already been made public through heavily redacted FOIA requests.

But HHS refused to be transparent and redacted the requested information.

But on Thursday Republican Senators released the redacted part of the email the HHS was hiding from the American public.
And it’s not good.

The redaction includes Dr. Peter Daszak admitting that he and Fauci were doing work in collaboration with the Chinese virologists at the Wuhan virology lab.

This information is very damning and proved that Dr. Anthony Fauci has been lying under oath and lying to the American people about his involvement with the Wuhan lab.

We now know that Dr. Fauci funded the lab, approved the gain of function research and was fully aware of their work.

This letter by the GOP senators also reveals that the CDC, DIH and HHS cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

The letter continues to say “the paragraph above does not appear to contain any information that could reasonably be expected to interfere with law enforcement proceedings. HHS is hiding information from the American public — and from Congress.

This is a serious violation.

HHS is lying to the American public about the Chinese research of the COVID virus to protect evil Dr. Fauci.

What else are they hiding?

Here is the full letter from the Republican Senators to Chairman Peters.

House Report Names ‘Public Face’ of China’s ‘Disinformation Campaign’ on COVID Origin

A new congressional report will tie Peter Daszak, the controversial director of the New York-based EcoHealth Alliance nonprofit, to the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda campaign about COVID-19’s origins.

“We have uncovered strong evidence that suggests Peter Daszak is the public face of a CCP disinformation campaign designed to suppress public discussion about a potential lab leak,” states a new report, a copy of which National Review obtained before its planned publication later today, by Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The committee’s Republicans are releasing the document as an addendum to the COVID-origins report they issued last year. Among other things, this version highlights research from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) that viruses can be genetically modified without leaving a trace and that the WIV made unusual security-related procurements the same day that a mysterious virus database was taken off-line. “The preponderance of evidence suggests SARS-CoV-2 was accidentally released from a Wuhan Institute of Virology laboratory sometime prior to September 12, 2019,” the report concludes.

One of the most noteworthy revelations, however, might be indications that the WIV — a CCP-controlled facility — appears to have played a role in Daszak’s efforts to shape public opinion surrounding the virus’s origins.

“It’s incredibly concerning that Peter Daszak, an American scientist who has taken millions of dollars from the U.S. government, took directions from the CCP to persuade the American people a lab leak was nothing more than a ‘conspiracy theory,’” said Representative Michael McCaul, the committee’s top Republican, in a statement to National Review.

When Daszak organized a now-infamous statement referring to the lab hypothesis of COVID’s origins a “conspiracy theory” in February 2020, he did so at the behest of individuals affiliated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, according to emails cited in the report. The specific messages in question have been accessible online for months, but the report will bring public scrutiny to the WIV’s role in organizing the Daszak statement for the first time.

“You should know that the conspiracy theorists have been very active, targeting our collaborators with some extremely unpleasant web pages in China, and some have now received death threats to themselves and their families. They have asked for any show of support we can give them,” Daszak wrote in an email on February 8, 2020, asking Rita Colwell, a microbiology professor at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University affiliated with EcoHealth Alliance, to add her name to the letter.

The statement, which later appeared in the Lancet, a leading medical journal, uses similar language, vaguely referring to concerns that the virus originally leaked from a lab as a conspiracy. “Conspiracy theories do nothing but create fear, rumours, and prejudice that jeopardise our global collaboration in the fight against this virus,” wrote Daszak.

That letter, among other articles and public statements, was used by Daszak and others to create a false consensus view in the media that COVID did not originate in a lab. Since the early days of the pandemic, however, that’s changed: A number of U.S. officials across the Trump and Biden administrations have stated publicly, or reportedly mused in private, that the disease could have begun with a leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. In May, President Joe Biden ordered a 90-day investigation by the U.S. intelligence community to review any available information about such a potential origin.

It has been widely reported that Daszak organized the Lancet letter, but the Republicans’ report might be the first time that the role of the WIV in orchestrating it has been brought to prominence. The emails on which their allegation is based were initially released to the public in November 2020, after U.S. Right to Know, a nonprofit group that advocates transparency in the food system, obtained them via a Freedom of Information Act request.

Despite the group’s relative obscurity, its 466-page email cache soon became a political lightning rod: An email on February 6, 2020, revealed Daszak’s previously undisclosed role in organizing the letter — and the lengths to which he went to conceal his involvement.

When that statement was published on February 19, 2020, the world was in the initial phases of the coronavirus pandemic, and Daszak’s role went largely unexamined. Meanwhile, he played an outsized role, in that statement and his public comments, in downplaying the likelihood of a lab-leak origin of COVID.

To this day, the U.S. nonprofit director has been an invaluable resource to the Chinese Communist Party’s propagandists, who have cited him in numerous articles and videos over the past several months. Last week, the People’s Daily noted that he called China a “victim” of the Wuhan-lab theory.

In early 2021, he joined the joint WHO–China study on COVID origins, which deemed such a leak “extremely unlikely.” That determination was widely criticized, however, for all but ruling out the scenario without any evidence. WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and 13 allies of the United States panned the results of the probe.

Daszak was the only American to join the WHO team, after the three candidates put forward by the Trump administration were rejected by the WHO. At the time, critics pointed out that he had a potentially glaring conflict of interest: EcoHealth Alliance funded coronavirus research at the lab and had received millions of dollars in grant funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health to do so. These conflicts of interest later led him to step down from the Lancet’s COVID-origins commission.

In addition to the email to Colwell, the GOP investigators point to another that hints heavily at coordination between Daszak and the WIV in downplaying the possibility of a lab leak.

The afternoon after Daszak initially sent out a draft of the statement that would appear in the Lancet 13 days later, he wrote to Ralph Baric, a professor at the University of North Carolina and the world’s leading coronavirus researcher, about a conversation he’d had with Linfa Wang, a Duke-National University of Singapore professor who is also regarded as one of the world’s preeminent authorities on coronaviruses. The report notes that Wang, a PRC national, also chairs the WIV’s scientific advisory board for emerging diseases and had been in Wuhan, likely for meetings with top officials at the institute, until January 18, 2020.

“He thinks, and I agree with him, that you, me and him should not sign this statement, so it has some distance from us and therefore doesn’t work in a counterproductive way,” wrote Daszak in the February 6 email, referring to a conversation he had with Wang about a draft of the Lancet statement. “We’ll then put it out in a way that doesn’t link it back to our collaboration so we maximize an independent voice,” he added.

Baric wrote back: “I also think this is a good decision. Otherwise it looks self-serving and we lose impact.”

That email has been widely commented on, as it shows that Daszak had wanted to obscure his role in the Lancet statement. However, this report’s discussion of the message places a new emphasis on Wang’s role at the WIV and the vast influence of the institute’s Chinese Communist Party Committee.

The GOP lawmakers’ report also notes the extensive record of collaboration between Wang, Daszak, and Shi Zhengli, the WIV director and another subject of fierce controversy, on coronavirus research.

Since supporting the Daszak-led letter, Baric has come around to the possibility of the lab-leak scenario; in April 2021 he signed on to a letter endorsing further investigation of the Wuhan lab in Science magazine. Daszak has not. Instead, after the Science letter and other events brought the lab-leak hypothesis to prominence, he wrote another letter to the Lancet, essentially doubling down on his claims from over a year ago.

But Wang’s role in all of this has remained a bit of a mystery. Following publication of the U.S. Right to Know email trove last November, Alina Chan, a postdoctoral fellow at the Broad Institute, noted on Twitter that “the 2 scientists who would’ve known the most about lab origins plausibility did not agree to sign the letter: Ralph Baric and Linfa Wang.” She also wrote of the prominent researchers, “As far as I can tell, neither one has ruled out a lab-based scenario, even if they have suggested avenues for investigating natural origins.”

The GOP team faces roadblocks to uncovering more information about the CCP’s role in the origins-disinformation campaign. McCaul said it was concerning that Daszak didn’t respond to any of the investigators’ questions.

“That’s why I’m calling for Peter Daszak to be subpoenaed before the House Foreign Affairs Committee. It’s our responsibility to conduct oversight of taxpayer’s money — and we need to know exactly what Peter Daszak was spending that money on.”

The report brings new attention to these questions, casting a harsh light on figures who have been sympathetic to Beijing’s position on the origins of COVID. As Beijing has rejected the WHO’s calls for a second-phase investigation, including a closer look at the lab, it seems that only a bipartisan congressional investigation — using subpoenas of Daszak, the Lancet, and others — can reveal the WIV’s role in this disinformation effort and bring us closer to understanding the origins of this calamity.

Opinion: New congressional report says covid-19 likely emerged in Wuhan months earlier than originally thought

Nineteen months after the start of the pandemic, the Chinese government continues to actively thwart a real investigation into the origins of covid-19. Now, a new GOP congressional report alleges that Beijing was covering up the outbreak for months longer than previously assumed.

The House Foreign Affairs Committee minority staff, led by ranking Republican Michael McCaul (Tex.), released Monday an 84-page addendum to their previously issued report on the origins of covid-19. Their new research focuses on whether the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the world’s leading bat coronavirus research center, as well as other labs in Wuhan, could have been the source of the outbreak. The report also presents extensive evidence that the international community may need to revise its timeline of the outbreak.

“It is our belief the virus leaked sometime in late August or early September 2019,” McCaul said in a statement accompanying the release of the report. “When they realized what happened, Chinese Communist Party officials and scientists at the WIV began frantically covering up the leak. … But their coverup was too late — the virus was already spreading throughout the megacity of Wuhan.”

In January 2020, Chinese researchers reported that the first confirmed cases of covid-19 occurred in December of 2019, some of which were linked a seafood market in Wuhan (although not the earliest cases). In March 2020, China traced its first case back to Nov. 17, 2019. But since then, more and more evidence has emerged that suggests that the virus was circulating in Wuhan well before that time.

As the committee’s report notes, the Wuhan Institute of Virology took its main public virus database offline on Sept. 12, 2019. Dozens of athletes from several countries who attended the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan in late October reported they came down with covid-like illnesses either while they were in Wuhan or shortly after returning home. The committee report also references commercially available satellite imagery that shows significantly increased activity at the six Wuhan hospitals closest to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in September and October of 2019.

Top Wuhan Lab Theory Denier Reverses Stance, Reveals He Knew Of Virus Weeks In Advance.

Dr. Ian Lipkin – an American virologist who once claimed there was “no evidence” COVID-19 could have come from the Wuhan Institute of Virology – appeared to reverse his premature stance on the origins of COVID-19 in a new interview.

“If they’ve got hundreds of bat samples that are coming in, and some of them aren’t characterized, how would they know whether this virus was or wasn’t in this lab?” Lipkin asked in reference to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in June before answering, “they wouldn’t.”

The unearthed comments come amidst Lipkin revealing he was informed of a “new outbreak” in Wuhan on December 15th, 2019 in Spike Lee’s documentary miniseries “NYC Epicenters.” The mid-December date, which Lipkin defends when pressed by the interviewer, is at odds with the Chinese Communist Party’s public COVID-19 timeline, first informing the World Health Organization of an outbreak on December 31st, 2019.

The National Pulse has previously exposed Lipkin’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party, including the Columbia Professor receiving awards and consultancy positions from the regime.

Lipkin was heavily quoted by mainstream media outlets including CBS and USA Today in an effort to “debunk” former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Chief Dr. Robert Redfield’s explosive claim linking the virus to a Chinese lab.

“We should be moving away from finger-pointing,” Lipkin told CBS after adding there is “no evidence to suggest that it was created in a lab.”

NEW DETAILS EMERGE ABOUT CORONAVIRUS RESEARCH AT CHINESE LAB

More than 900 pages of materials related to US.-funded coronavirus research in China were released following a FOIA lawsuit by The Intercept.

NEWLY RELEASED DOCUMENTS provide details of U.S.-funded research on several types of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The Intercept has obtained more than 900 pages of documents detailing the work of EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization that used federal money to fund bat coronavirus research at the Chinese laboratory. The trove of documents includes two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as project updates relating to EcoHealth Alliance’s research, which has been scrutinized amid increased interest in the origins of the pandemic.

The documents were released in connection with ongoing Freedom of Information Act litigation by The Intercept against the National Institutes of Health. The Intercept is making the full documents available to the public.

“This is a road map to the high-risk research that could have led to the current pandemic,” said Gary Ruskin, executive director of U.S. Right To Know, a group that has been investigating the origins of Covid-19.

One of the grants, titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence,” outlines an ambitious effort led by EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak to screen thousands of bat samples for novel coronaviruses. The research also involved screening people who work with live animals. The documents contain several critical details about the research in Wuhan, including the fact that key experimental work with humanized mice was conducted at a biosafety level 3 lab at Wuhan University Center for Animal Experiment — and not at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, as was previously assumed. The documents raise additional questions about the theory that the pandemic may have begun in a lab accident, an idea that Daszak has aggressively dismissed.

Dr. Fauci Faces Call To Resign, Answer For Shocking Report About U.S. Government Funded Wuhan Research

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the chief medical advisor to President Joe Biden, is facing calls to answer for a shocking report, published by the Intercept, about the so-called “gain of function” research that the National Institutes of Health funded at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The WIV is thought to be a possible origin point for COVID-19.

In May of 2021, Dr. Fauci, in his testimony to a Senate committee investigating whether the U.S. funded “gain-of-function” research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, claimed that the NIH “has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

The Intercept, however, found, through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, evidence that the NIH issued a “bat coronavirus grant” to a group called the EcoHealth Alliance for “$3.1 million, including $599,000 that the Wuhan Institute of Virology used in part to identify and alter bat coronaviruses likely to infect humans.”

As The Daily Wire reported Tuesday, Dr. Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University and an expert who spoke to The Intercept, elaborated on the findings on Twitter.

“The materials show that the 2014 and 2019 NIH grants to EcoHealth with subcontracts to WIV funded gain-of-function research as defined in federal policies in effect in 2014-2017 and potential pandemic pathogen enhancement as defined in federal policies in effect in 2017-present,” Ebert noted. “The materials confirm the grants supported the construction — in Wuhan — of novel chimeric SARS-related coronaviruses that combined a spike gene from one coronavirus with genetic information from another coronavirus, and confirmed the resulting viruses could infect human cells.”

Top Scientist On New Report About Research In Chinese Labs: It’s ‘Clear’ Fauci Was ‘Untruthful’

A report published on Monday alleges that the U.S. government funded highly controversial gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the chief medical advisor to Democrat President Joe Biden, has denied that the National Institute of Health [NIH] has ever funded gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. During a heated exchange with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) back in May, Fauci claimed that the “[National Institute of Health] has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

This week, The Intercept reported that 900 new pages of previously undisclosed information from the NIH, which The Intercept obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, that the EcoHealth Alliance used federal grant money to fund dangerous bat coronavirus research in the Chinese labs. The Intercept reported:

The bat coronavirus grant provided the EcoHealth Alliance with a total of $3.1 million, including $599,000 that the Wuhan Institute of Virology used in part to identify and alter bat coronaviruses likely to infect humans. Even before the pandemic, many scientists were concerned about the potential dangers associated with such experiments. The grant proposal acknowledges some of those dangers: “Fieldwork involves the highest risk of exposure to SARS or other CoVs, while working in caves with high bat density overhead and the potential for fecal dust to be inhaled.”

Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University, reviewed the material and told The Intercept that the “viruses they constructed were tested for their ability to infect mice that were engineered to display human type receptors on their cell.”

WATCH: Sen. Rand Paul Demands Police Arrest Fauci And Lock Him Up For FIVE YEARS For Lying to Congress

Senator Rand Paul has demanded that Dr. Anthony Fauci be arrested for lying to Congress on coronavirus gain of function studies in Wuhan, China and should serve serious prison time.

“I find that hard to believe that we still would have someone with such poor judgment, who believes that even a pandemic would be worth it, that this person is in charge of the research for our government, I find that astounding,” Sen. Paul declared on Wednesday’s Hannity show.

“The judgment that we should continue to fund this lab and—that the virus in all likelihood came from the lab. I think it’s such incredibly poor judgment that he should be immediately removed,” Paul continued.

The Kentucky Senator added, “We’ve referred it to the Department of Justice. I don’t think Biden’s Department of Justice will do anything with it but yes, it is very dangerous to have public officials who we need to have trust in coming and lying to us, but [Fauci] has lied dozens of times.”

Paul went on, “Usually, he tells us that it’s for our own good but yes, he has dissembled, he has obfuscated—there’s other nicer words—but he has definitely lied to the American public and he should be held responsible but not just that.”

Adding to Paul’s comments, Senator Tom Cotton called for prosecution against Fauci “to the fullest extent of the law.”

Cotton urged “You know, for 18 months, he’s been saddling up his moral high horse and clucking his tongue at college kids who want to go celebrate a football game in an outdoor stadium on a nice fall day or parents who don’t want their kindergartners to have to wear masks their entire lives, telling you you have to wear three masks, when all along, he’s been lying, not just to Congress, but to the American people about his role in funding the very reckless, dangerous research at a Chinese Communist lab that unleashed this pandemic on the world.”
“It is a disgrace and it’s time for Tony Fauci to be held accountable,” Cotton added.

Meanwhile, Fauci appeared on both MSNBC and CNN, with neither network even bothering to ask a single question about the new report detailing how Fauci funded the Chinese research and then lied about it.

REVEALED: 26 out of the 27 Lancet scientists who trashed theory that Covid leaked from a Chinese lab have links to Wuhan researchers

-The Lancet letter published in March 2020 called claims that Covid-19 originated in lab 'conspiracy theories'
-It was signed by 27 scientists from across the globe working in virology and other medical science fields
-The widely-read letter effectively ended all debate about origins of the global coronavirus pandemic
-Investigation by The Telegraph has found 26 out of 27 had connections to China's Wuhan Institute of Virology

Of the 27 scientists who wrote a letter in The Lancet medical journal dismissing the possibility that Covid-19 originated from a Wuhan lab, 26 have links to its Chinese researchers, their colleagues or its benefactors, a new investigation has revealed.

On March 7 last year, the influential journal published the letter in which the 27 scientists said they 'strongly condemned conspiracy theories' surrounding the origins of the coronavirus pandemic that has impacted all corners of the world.

All debate into whether Covid-19 had man-made origins or leaked from the lab in Wuhan - the Chinese city that was ground-zero for the virus - was effectively shut down by the letter.

DANIEL: Think This Pandemic Was Bad? New Documents Show It Could Have Been Much Worse … And Fauci Knew

n another disturbing report on what was going on at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and similar labs before the pandemic, we have learned that researchers created viruses that held 10,000 times the viral load higher than their naturally-occurring counterparts (meaning that the engineered virus was significantly more infectious).

On top of that, we also learned that researchers at the lab conducted experiments on these enhanced viruses using “humanized mice.” These are mice that have been engrafted with human cells or tissues, allowing researchers to study the response from human cells to medical treatments and, you guessed it, diseases. Read as human experimentation without the danger of breaking any pesky ethics guidelines.

Funding for gain-of-function research that could potentially make naturally-occurring viruses more infectious was suspended in 2014 due to the reasonable concern that playing God with deadly diseases could be very dangerous. That suspension was lifted in 2017 for projects that underwent a review process by a special board to make sure that the projects were worth the risks.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which is run by one Anthony “America’s Doctor” Fauci, decided not to flag the grant to EcoHealth Alliance for $3.1 million to study bat coronaviruses for review under the new guidelines. NIAID made this decision even though the grant application itself acknowledged potential dangers in the research, noting, “Fieldwork involves the highest risk of exposure to SARS or other CoVs, while working in caves with high bat density overhead and the potential for fecal dust to be inhaled.”

Almost $600,000 of EcoHealth Alliance’s grant went to WIV to study and alter bat coronaviruses that were likely to infect humans.

So, we have researchers at the Wuhan lab using almost $600,000 in NIAID grant money to enhance the infectiousness of bat coronaviruses and observing their effectiveness in mice that contained human cells and tissue.

This all begs the question: Why?

Richard Ebright and 15 Top Scientists Eviscerate Fauci and Daszak in Lancet Medical Journal

The world‘s leading medical journal The Lancet has now published an article explicitly condemning the letter organized by Dr. Anthony Fauci, Peter Daszak of the EcoHealth Alliance, Jeremy Farrar of the Wellcome Trust, and others.

On February 1, 2020, when confronted with first evidence the Covid pandemic may have originated in the Wuhan Lab he funded via Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance, Fauci organized a conference call, apparently to discuss how to suppress this dangerous information, since the trail led straight to them.

On Feb. 19, 2020, Daszak, Farrar and others published a letter in The Lancet, saying that “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin.”

This letter was then used to suppress and censor the Chinese lab leak theory in Mainstream Media and on social media for over a year. There was, and remains, no evidence for the “scientists’” claims.

Now, a new article in The Lancet by Jacques van Helden of Aix-Marseille University in France, Richard Ebright of Rutgers U. and 14 other authors has skewered the Fauci apologists’ unscientific Fake News “which claimed overwhelming support for the hypothesis that the novel coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic originated in wildlife.”

“The authors associated any alternative view with conspiracy theories by stating: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin”. The statement has imparted a silencing effect on the wider scientific debate, including among science journalists,” Ebright and colleagues charge.

Contrary to the Fake Scientists’ claim, “there is no direct support for the natural origin of SARS-CoV-2, and a laboratory-related accident is plausible. There is so far no scientifically validated evidence that directly supports a natural origin.”

“Neither the host pathway from bats to humans, nor the geographical route from Yunnan (where the viruses most closely related to SARS-CoV-2 have been sampled) to Wuhan (where the pandemic emerged) have been identified. More than 80 000 samples collected from Chinese wildlife sites and animal farms all proved negative”, the researchers write.

In addition, the international research community “has no access to the sites, samples, or raw data” related to the Wuhan Lab and the Covid outbreak, the article attests. Even WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has now declared “that all hypotheses remained on the table, including that of a laboratory leak.”

A lab leak origin of the pandemic is “plausible”, the authors find: “Some unusual features of the SARS-CoV-2 genome sequence suggest that they may have resulted from genetic engineering.”

Ebright and collegaues also skewered Fauci’s stooges for placing “unity” and their political agenda over critical evaluation and science:

“As scientists, we need to evaluate all hypotheses on a rational basis, and to weigh their likelihood based on facts and evidence, devoid of speculation concerning possible political impacts. Contrary to the first letter published in The Lancet … we do not think that scientists should promote “unity” (“We support the call from the Director-General of WHO to promote scientific evidence and unity over misinformation and conjecture”).

As shown above, research-related hypotheses are not misinformation and conjecture. More importantly, science embraces alternative hypotheses, contradictory arguments, verification, refutability, and controversy. Departing from this principle risks establishing dogmas, abandoning the essence of science, and, even worse, paving the way for conspiracy theories. Instead, the scientific community should bring this debate to a place where it belongs: the columns of scientific journals.”

It is hard to imagine how Fauci, Daszak, Farrar and their co-conspirators can remain in their positions after this brutal scientific takedown.

Artikel in de Lancet:

An appeal for an objective, open, and transparent scientific debate about the origin of SARS-CoV-2

On July 5, 2021, a Correspondence was published in The Lancet called “Science, not speculation, is essential to determine how SARS-CoV-2 reached humans”.1 The letter recapitulates the arguments of an earlier letter (published in February, 2020) by the same authors,2 which claimed overwhelming support for the hypothesis that the novel coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic originated in wildlife. The authors associated any alternative view with conspiracy theories by stating: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin”.

The statement has imparted a silencing effect on the wider scientific debate, including among science journalists.3 The 2021 letter did not repeat the proposition that scientists open to alternative hypotheses were conspiracy theorists, but did state: “We believe the strongest clue from new, credible, and peer-reviewed evidence in the scientific literature is that the virus evolved in nature, while suggestions of a laboratory leak source of the pandemic remain without scientifically validated evidence that directly supports it in peer-reviewed scientific journals”. In fact, this argument could literally be reversed. As will be shown below, there is no direct support for the natural origin of SARS-CoV-2, and a laboratory-related accident is plausible.

Wuhan scientists planned to release coronaviruses into cave bats 18 months before outbreak

Wuhan scientists were planning to release enhanced airborne coronaviruses into Chinese bat populations to inoculate them against diseases that could jump to humans, leaked grant proposals dating from 2018 show.

New documents show that just 18 months before the first Covid-19 cases appeared, researchers had submitted plans to release skin-penetrating nanoparticles containing “novel chimeric spike proteins” of bat coronaviruses into cave bats in Yunnan, China.

They also planned to create chimeric viruses, genetically enhanced to infect humans more easily, and requested $14million from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) to fund the work.

In this episode, I break down a very short window of time from Jan 31, 2020 to Feb 2 - 2020 when Fauci met with key representatives of the Wellcome Trust, WHO, NIH and senior private virologists. They presumably discussed prior and ongoing gain of function experiments on SARS CoV viruses as well as the lab leak origin theory that was worriedly gaining steam out in the public eye.

Mere days after this meeting a wall of scientific opinion coupled to air-tight media backing concluded that SARS-CoV-2 could not have come from a lab but must have been of natural origin.

We now know this was not based on science but was a predetermined conclusion in search of supporters and which made declarative statements that could not possibly have been grounded in actual science.

een comment:

Christian Drosten and Marion Koopmans in that teleconference email are also the inventors of the covid PCR test. Drosten was also a signatory to the Lancet letter orchestrated by Peter Daszak. Koopmans along with Daszak were also key members of the WHO investigation team sent to China to cover up the lab leak.

Aangezien ik zie dat je deze discussie heel graag hiernaar toe wil trekken zal ik mijn reactie hier ook maar plaatsen dan;

Mijn vraag blijft onbeantwoord.
