Mr. Trump’s announcement was intended to thwart a move by Mr. Cordray earlier in the day to elevate an official from inside the agency to take on temporary leadership of the bureau.

Now, both sides say the law is in their favor, setting up a clash that may well end up in court.

Al Franken, and to publicly defend Republican Roy Moore: "He says it didn’t happen. You have to listen to him also," the president told reporters.

Tuesday, Trump was asked for his message to women: "Women are very special," he said. "I think it’s a very special time because a lot of things are coming out, and I think that’s good for our society and I think it’s very, very good for women, and I’m very happy a lot of these things are coming out. I’m very happy it’s being exposed."

Om in te haken op de eerdere discussie.
Trump kiest niet voor een leger aan diplomaatjes onder leiding van Tillerson, maar bepaald zelf het buitenland beleid via onder andere Jared Kushner. Kushner vertrekt naar Saudi Arabie, heeft tot 4 uur 's nachts meetings met de prins en een week later is er een crackdown op de corruptie en worden de Islamisten buitenspel gezet.

Onder Obama stonden Yemen, Irak, Syrie en een berg andere landen in de fik
Onder Trump merken we daar nauwelijks nog iets van in het vrije westen.

Iemand nog iets van Noord Korea gehoord de afgelopen maand?

Wat Trump ook geflikt heeft, het heeft gewerkt.

U.S. District Judge Neil Wake later ruled that charges were initially brought because of pressure from Arpaio, in order to conduct surveillance on senator Flake's home and examine his phone records in an effort to tie the incident to the senator.

The case is scheduled to go to court on Dec. 5.
