Een aangezien hij betere info krijgt in briefings zal hij ook wel wat meer details te zien krijgen.
Laat ik je uit ervaring vertellen dat het aankoopbedrag van een vliegtuig het best bewaarde geheim van de industrie is, dus je komt nooit achter de werkelijke kosten als het niet publiekelijk wordt gemaakt. Je hebt een list price, maar die wordt nooit gehanteerd zodra je in onderhandeling gaat.
Dat is het enige waar Boeing nu een contract voor heeft. Trump stelt dat iets anders:quote:

Het is toch duidelijk.
Die 170 M is een soort consulting fee. Trump heeft inzicht in de totale kosten als men het startsein krijgt om te gaan bouwen. En die kosten zijn hem te gortig.

Het bouwen valt wel mee, ongeveer 400 miljoen per vliegtuig. Het is de ontwikkeling voorafgaand aan het bouwen die kostbaar is. Daarvoor staan de totale kosten nog lang niet vast, aangezien er nog volop ontwikkeld moet worden. Dat is bovendien werk dat niet per sé door Boeing gedaan word, want dat contract is / die contracten zijn nog niet vergeven.quote:

Als Trump dat vliegtuig goedkoper wil blijft het dus vrij simpel.
