Gates heeft ongetwijfeld een hekel aan Trump, maar is sluw genoeg om veren in zijn kontje te stoppen wanneer nodig. Als er iets voorspelbaars aan Trump's onvoorspelbaarheid is, is het wel dat het goed toeven is in zijn nabijheid als je hem prijst. De enige manier om dingen voor het klimaat en ontwikkelingshulp gedaan te krijgen in de komende regering is door poeslief tegen Trump te zijn zodat hij ' een open mind' houdt...quote:

Heeft Trump niet gewoon een riedel aan complexen die hij moet compenseren of zo? Generaals om zich heen. Succesvolle miljonairs en miljardairs... Als die allemaal doen wat hin zegt zal hij zich wel erg goed voelen. En het zou zijn uitbarstingen bij tegenspraak en kritiek ook wel verklaren.
