Het is natuurlijk gewoon wachten totdat Trump ruzie krijgt met Poetin. Zo niet is Vladimir de enige wereldleider die ie niet beledigt, dat zou wel erg verdacht zijn.

Zit nou maar niet zo hard te hopen op zaken die je verwacht, die gebeuren namelijk niet. De kracht (en het gevaar) van Trump is juist dat hij zo onvoorspelbaar is: hij doet dingen en veroorzaakt situaties waar niemand ooit rekening mee hield dat ze konden gebeuren.quote:

Een aanvaring met of "belediging van" Poetin is niet zo spannend, de Europese relatie met Rusland is al eeuwenlang gebouwd op ruzie en misverstand, daar kunnen de VS best bij aanhaken. Het wordt pas spannend als Trump, al dan niet buiten de NAVO om, met Rusland een solide vriendschap kan stichten en openlijk ruzie gaat zoeken met zijn Europese "bondgenoten".
