Daar kun je individuen niet op aanspreken. 'De islam' is niet een vaststaand concept, maar hetgeen mensen er onder elkaar van maken. Dat kan van vredelievend tot gewelddadig zijn, en van vrijzinnig tot fundamentalistisch. Je kunt mensen er niet op aanspreken dat ze (deels) dezelfde religieuze riten volgen als een stel criminelen en terroristen.
