Tja, ik heb voor mijn lijst een combinatie gezocht tussen de echte klassiekers en wat ik de laatste pakweg 5 jaar veel gedraaid heb. Zo staan er dus 2 albums van minder dan 10 jaar oud in de top 10 en hebben albums die ik erg waardeer maar ik de afgelopen 5 jaar nauwelijks gedraaid heb, plaatsgemaakt voor een aantal echte klassiekers (lees: albums die ik vanaf mijn vroege jeugd gewoon heel veel geluisterd heb).

Ja als je wat ouder bent zul je meer oude albums in je jeugd geluisterd hebben en er dus waarschijnlijk er ook meer in je lijst hebben. Ik luister pas iets van 10 jaar echt naar veel muziek dus voor mij maakt het weinig uit of een album nou in 2000 of 1960 is uitgekomen.
Ik heb ook maar 4 platen uit de jaren 70 en 1 uit de jaren 60. Ik denk dat ik er daar heel veel bij zou hebben als ik een top 200 maak. Vind er heel veel hoge kwaliteit albums tussen zitten maar ik heb er niet meer binding mee dan met wat recenter werk.

Probeer trouwens een keer Captain Beyond, ik vind dat album echt geniaal maar ik zie het nooit ergens voorbijkomen.

Klopt, ik denk ook dat muziek die je zo tussen je 15e en 25e leert kennen de meeste indruk op je maakt en dus de meeste kans maakt om in je top 100 te komen.


En Captain Beyond had ik nog nooit van gehoord, stukje geluisterd, mijn eerste reactie: klinkt een beetje Iron Butterfly- achtig, maar dat kan dus kloppen

Als je de lijst in juni zou vragen, zouden ze vadt nog wat hoger kunnen.

Zie ook weer een aantal mooie platen voorbij komen in de lijsten van cafca, On en pfaf. Paar waarvan ik denk: tja, die hadden er wellicht bij mij ook nog wel bij gekund. Maar ja, je mag er maar 100. Volgens mij moet je ook echt de jaren 80 heel bewust hebben meegemaakt om het te kunnen waarderen.

Bij mij hebben de jaren 80 denk ik toch ook het kleinste aandeel. Hoewel, jaren 70 ook niet heel veel. Maar zo diepgravend heb ik nog niet geanalyseerd. Misschien eens uitzoeken als ik tijd heb.

Overigens, pfaf, een detail... Maar In A Bar, Under The Sea komt volgens mij uit 1996.
