Voor de Holly fans, ze komt volgend seizoen gewoon terug

Holly Willoughby will be back hosting The Voice UK in 2013, it’s been claimed.

The former Xtra Factor presenter fronted the first series with Radio 1 DJ Reggie Yates earlier this year.

Now it’s been reported that Beeb bosses have signed Holly for a second year, on a deal thought to be worth around £400,000.

A supposed BBC source told the Sunday People at the weekend: “Holly was a massive success for The Voice earlier this year.

“She was hugely popular with the viewers so it was a no brainer to get her back. BBC bosses really wanted her and she can’t wait for auditions to start.”

BBC One boss Danny Cohen previously said that he hoped Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue would all return next year along with Jessie.

“We thought they made a very big impact for a first series and we want them all to come back,” he said last month. “We haven’t signed any contracts yet, so I can’t say anything official. But we said at the end of the first series that we wanted all of our coaches to come back.”

The Beeb chief also revealed plans for “dramatic changes” for series two, including less live shows and more audition rounds.

“Those live shows, the audience became over familiar with the grammar,” explained the channel controller. “It still works on Strictly and The X Factor, but audiences became over familiar with it.

“It’s not rocket science to say that the Blind Auditions were the best bit of the series.”

The Voice UK will return to BBC One in the new year.

The Voice UK 2013: Less live shows but more acts for series two

The Voice UK 2013 format changes have been revealed, with less live shows and more acts.

The BBC is planning on changing pretty much everything about the show next year, apart from the coaches.

Danny O’Donoghue, Will.i.am, Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones will all be back, and the panel will probably be the only thing to remain unchanged from last year.

There will be just three live shows this year but more acts on the teams, between 15 to 20.

The separate Sunday results show has been axed in favor of a live results show on the Saturday night.

“There will be a lot of changes,” Danny O’Donoghue explained. “For starters, there will be more blind auditions.

“And we are increasing the numbers on each team from 10 to 15 or 20.

“Live shows will be cut from six to just three and the results will be on the same night as far as I know.”

He continued: “One of the problems last year was me and Jessie J tweeting the results before they had aired, so I think it will all be on one night now.”

The first series back in May started well, but ended on a low after shedding almost 3 million viewers throughout its run.

Danny promised fans that the same thing wouldn’t happen next Spring, telling the Daily Star Sunday: “The four coaches and the BBC know what to do to make sure this series is even better than the first one.

“We all agreed we need to get the songs and the artists out sooner.

“We were all throwing ideas down on the table and talked about writing a song for the winner to release as soon as the show finishes.

“The songs will be available to download on the same night to create a buzz and create a back catalogue and create an appetite for the artists.”

The Voice UK returns in the new year on BBC One.

The Voice UK gaat in de aanval op BgT:

THE VOICE is set to go head to head with Britain’s Got Talent when it airs later this year.
The BBC talent show’s first live outing has been scheduled for the same night as the ITV show final, which will see the winner declared.
And the clash has TV bosses panicking over who will come out on top.
A source said: “Putting The Voice’s first live show up against the Britain’s Got Talent final is a bold move.
"But The Voice is coming back stronger this year and bosses are confident any teething problems experienced last time have been erased.”
A BBC spokesman said: “The Voice series 2 live shows will start on June 8. We aren’t aware of a date for the Britain’s Got Talent final.”

A source claimed: “There is a lot riding on The Voice this yea. I needs to succeed to prove its critics wrong.”

However bosses have insisted that nothing is yet confirmed about the premiere date.

The Voice returns with coaches Will.i.am, Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue at the helm.

They’ll be joined by hosts Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates on the music series once more, which features budding performers taking part in blind auditions.

Hopefuls come onto the stage in silence, performing while the coaches sit with their backs turned. If a coach likes what they hear, then they can press their buzzer to signal they want that singer on their team.

And in a twist, if more than one coach wants a singer, it’s up to the auditionee to decide, so expect plenty of dirty tricks from the panel to win their support!

This year bosses have teased a few changes to the format, including knock out stages and yet more drama in the battle rounds.

Uiteindelijk vanaf 19:00, als ik het goed herinner. Als hun er ook 2 uur van maken dan missen we het begin op SBS.
