Robert Fripp houdt nog steeds niet van fotograferende toeschouwers, in dit geval tijdens een optreden van "The League of Crafty Guitarists"
Photography redux/Albany

Hello All --
I feel compelled to write about my experience last night at the LCG show in Albany, in an effort to posit an alternative method to dealing with basement-dwelling bozos.
At the beginning of the show, as is customary, an announcement was made, in several languages, asking the audience not to engage in photography or recording, with the wishes of the performers made unambiguously clear.
At some point during the opening piece, RF spotted a guy in one of the back rows taking a picture. RF unplugged his guitar, and with it in hand, left the stage, ascended the steps to the back of the venue, pointed the guy out, and had him tossed. RF then returned to the stage, asked the Crafties to rise, and all of them left the stage.
A few minutes later, RF returned to the stage to explain in detail that the performers, as well as the audience, need a "good beginning" to the show, reminded the crowd about the social contract between performers and artists (or to be more precise, these performers and this audience), and asked the crowd if "we would like to start again," to which the audience responded enthusiastically.
However, to this audient at least, a "new beginning" was not possible -- the entire performance had been irrevocably altered. The incident presided over the rest of the show like an 800 pound gorilla. We, the audience, were distracted and anxious, RF was clearly annoyed, and at least 2 of the Crafties looked visibly shaken/upset.
Ik vraag me toch af: als ik een toeschouwer was zou ik dan kwaad zijn op die fotograaf die zich niet aan de regels houdt of op Fripp die een wel heel extreem fotofobisch gedrag vertoont...
