Lekker relevant hoe de kleur van inkt er na 30 jaar verkleuring uit ziet. De getuigenissen van 5 vrouwen, ondersteund door verklaringen van vele mensen in hun omgeving, lijkt me toch wat zwaarder wegen dan dat. Bovendien heb ik gelezen dat er al jaren geruchten waren over het verderfelijke gedrag van deze pedofiel, het is niet alsof dit zomaar uit de lucht komt vallen.

In het kort, Jeffries vroeg eerst naar de antwoorden over Sessions, daarna over hoe Sessions zijn antwoordde aanpaste, gevolgd door het refereren naar een speech die Sessions gaf tijdens de impeachment van Bill Clinton, waarin Sessions zei dat hij een jong agent had vervolgd voor het veranderen van zijn verklaring onder ede en dat een President aan dezelfde standaard gehouden moest worden. Jeffries wilden duidelijk stellen dat een attorney general aan dezelfde standaard als een President dient te voldoen. Senators also wanted to know what would happen if the president ordered a nuclear strike.
Robert Kehler, an ex-commander of US Strategic Command, said that in his former role he would have followed the president's order to carry out the strike - if it were legal.
Mr Kehler said if he were uncertain about its legality, he would consult with his own advisers.
Under certain circumstances, he explained: "I would have said, 'I'm not ready to proceed.'"
One senator, Ron Johnson, a Republican from Wisconsin, asked: "Then what happens?"
Mr Kehler admitted: "I don't know."
People in the room laughed.
But the BBC's Tara McKelvey, who attended the hearing, said it was a nervous laugh (....) .
