Happy Day's star dead. Preliminary autopsy results have been released on actress Erin Moran. Moran was found dead at home at the age of only 56 years old. After an autopsy, a PAD or preliminary anatomic diagnosis/cause of death is usually released within 24 hours after the autopsy. This basically just states what the pathologist found and how they think it contributed to the death. It is called preliminary because further tests are still needed to be 100% sure such as toxicology and microscopic findings (which can sometimes take weeks to get back). The autopsy showed that Moran likely died from stage 4 cancer. Stage 4 cancer means the cancer has spread to another organ from the original site. This means the pathologist likely found tumors throughout her body in places such as the ovary and liver, or breast and lung. A 56 year old female is most likely to have primary lung, breast, ovarian or colon cancer- although this doesn't mean she couldn't have had a cancer such as pancreatic. It is likely Moran knew about this diagnosis or was ignoring symptoms because stage 4 cancer usually presents with symptoms. The final diagnosis will be given in a few weeks when they will also release the primary site of the cancer after working it up.

He elevated any flick or TV show he was in and elevated every director he ever acted for. I was so fucking blessed to have worked with this bonafide genius. But really, I was just lucky to have known him at all. My heart goes out to James (Michael's son), Oriana (Michael's wife), Quentin Tarantino (Michael's biggest fan) and any movie or music lover who was ever dazzled by the talents of Michael Parks. Greek actress Mary Tsoni was found dead at her apartment in Athens on Monday, according to Greek Reporter. She was 30 years old. Tsoni was best known in the film world for playing the younger daughter in writer-director Yorgos Lanthimos’ 2009 film “Dogtooth.”

Tsoni’s cause of death has not yet been disclosed, but she reportedly suffered from severe depression. She was found by her close friend Lewsha Camille Simboura, also an actress, who wrote a social media post about finding Tsoni. “Sorry I didn’t come sooner. Maybe we could have saved you,” Simboura wrote in the post. “I felt guilty, as I watched James perform CPR. I should have tried to help you with your sickness.”

In addition to “Dogtooth,” which was nominated for the 2011 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, Tsoni also appeared in the 2010 drama “Artherapy” and in the 2009 comedy “Evil in the Time of Heroes.” Her last acting role was in “Ta Oporofora tis Athinas” (“The Fruit Trees of Athens”). Before working as an actress, Tsoni was a singer in a punk band.

In 2009, she won the Sarajevo Film Festival’s best actress award for her role in “Dogtooth.” She shared the award with her “Dogtooth” co-star Angeliki Papoulia.
