Tokyo, Japan -- Pop star Michael Jackson and Broderick Morris, CEO, Positive Productions, have mutually agreed today to postpone the Tokyo Christmas Celebration, planned for December 19, 2006, at the Tokyo Studio Coast, to March 2007.
Both men agreed to the change in order to add a second separate event, a “Fan Appreciation Day,” on March 9, 2007, for Japanese fans, and fans in other parts of the world who wish to attend, noted Morris, who added that they selected the March 9th date because it is referred to in Japan as San Ku, which means, “Thank You.”
The Corporate VIP Event, which Mr. Jackson will meet, greet and take photos with attendees, be held the day before on March 8, 2007.
“I will be attending these special events on March 8th and 9th in Tokyo, Japan,” said Michael Jackson. “Tokyo is such a wonderful place, and I look forward to speaking to my friends and fans at both events. My fans have been so loving and supportive of me, and I am honored to attend an event to thank them for the love and support they have shown to me, and my family, throughout the years,” Jackson added.
“We want to be as inclusive as possible to all of Michael’s fans,” explained Morris. “They have supported him throughout his career, and this is a unique
opportunity for him to thank them. We both wanted to make sure that the events were planned in a way as to include as many of Michael’s friends and fans as possible.” Morris said persons holding tickets for the Christmas event will receive priority consideration for the new dates. Purchasers of tickets can also return those tickets for a full refund.

Cash-strapped MICHAEL JACKSON is planning to sell his famed Neverland Ranch on a US reality TV show. The sprawling estate, once perfectly maintained, has gone from magical fantasy land to ghost town since the singer deserted the California property in July 2005. Jackson is hoping to sell the ranch - with its abandoned zoo and amusement park - by featuring it on US cable network Bravo. The embattled star, who left the US after being cleared of child molestation charges, wants to sell the property for $50 million (GBP26 million) and is negotiating with the network to sell it on their reality show MILLION DOLLAR LISTING: HOLLYWOOD. A source tells US publication National Enquirer, "Michael needs cash - and fast. By making the show the exclusive agent for the Neverland sale, he can get some up-front money real quick. "The show will have exclusive access to Neverland and can do numerous segments about selling one of the most famous residences in the world. Michael is in a bad way. "He is running out of funds and appears distraught. He showed up at a meeting last week with his pants inside out! He's a mess."

Michael Jackson was on a plane to the United States late Saturday bound for Las Vegas, where he plans a comeback.
Jackson and his three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II were due to arrive before midnight at a private executive terminal at McCarran International Airport, sources said.
We hear that Jackson's friend, Las Vegas dealmaker Jack Wishna, was instrumental in having the pop icon move back to the United States.
Wishna, reached by telephone, wouldn't comment, other than to confirm Jackson was moving to Las Vegas and to say, "We are working on several projects."
Wishna wouldn't say where Jackson might land on the Strip. Wishna made headlines during Jackson's trial when he courted the entertainer, saying a Jackson comeback would earn a Celine Dion-like contract in Las Vegas.
Calling Jackson "one of the greatest entertainers in the world," Wishna said the singer "is poised to return to the top of the entertainment world soon."

Michael Jackson made a rare public appearance at James Brown's funeral today (December 30).
The singer paid a special tribute to the Godfather Of Soul as civil rights leaders, fans and a host of stars turned out to pay their respects in front of 8,500 mourners at the James Brown Arena in Augusta, Georgia.
Speaking onstage Jackson described the legendary showman as his "greatest inspiration" and he told the crowd how his mother would wake him up to watch Brown on TV.
"Ever since I was a small child - no more than six-years-old - my mother would wake me no matter what time it was to watch the television to see the master at work," he said. "Every time I saw him move I was mesmerized. I've never seen a performer like JB and right then and there, I knew that was exactly what I wanted to do with my life. James Brown, I shall miss you and I love you so much. Thank you for everything."
Jackson, who was greeted with huge cheers when he arrived at the funeral, spoke as Brown lay in an open top gold coffin in his third outfit - a black suit and gloves, red shirt and sequined shoes - in three days.
Earlier, the singer was invited to take to the stage for a version of 'Sex Machine' but he decided to stay seated. Sat at the front of the stage Jackson also leaned forward to kiss Brown's forehead before he returned to his seat.

But I hope MJ stands tall and not be afraid to face them, because he should expect the negativity from the media being the famous man that he is. Dr, James Brown went through a lot with the media criticizing him over the years trying to find everything negative against him, but he stood stron and proud and proved his legacy.
Mr. Bobby, Dr. Brown's friend mentioned that Dr. James Brown told him that he had a lot of work to do with MJ and Prince, it's apparent Dr. James Brown saw these 2 like his Godsons. I hope they both keep the music alive for Dr. Brown.
