Over 'Human Nature', nooit geweten.quote:Steve Porcaro, a studio musician and member of Toto, wrote this after his daughter came home from school upset that some kids were mean to her. He replied that it was "just human nature."
Over 'Butterflies' van Invincible. :| Is dit waar?quote:This song was written back in 1978 when Michael was 20. He was referring to Jodie Foster, whom he had a crush on but was too shy to admit it.

Whether its true or not, here's another Michael Jackson story on the eve of Christmas Day. The latest, and unconfirmed, story to come out of Las Vegas:
Michael Jackson was on a plane to the United States late Saturday bound for Las Vegas, where he plans a comeback.
Jackson and his three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II were due to arrive before midnight at a private executive terminal at McCarran International Airport, sources said.
We hear that Jackson's friend, Las Vegas dealmaker Jack Wishna, was instrumental in having the pop icon move back to the United States.
Wishna, reached by telephone, wouldn't comment, other than to confirm Jackson was moving to Las Vegas and to say, "We are working on several projects."
Wishna wouldn't say where Jackson might land on the Strip. Wishna made headlines during Jackson's trial when he courted the entertainer, saying a Jackson comeback would earn a Celine Dion-like contract in Las Vegas.
Calling Jackson "one of the greatest entertainers in the world," Wishna said the singer "is poised to return to the top of the entertainment world soon."

Uiteraard gelijk weer een 'ontkenningsbericht'quote:Michael Jackson's publicist declined to discuss the singer's whereabouts and has denied Jackson has ties to Wishna (who is currently circulating a Jackson Las Vegas performance).
"They don't know each other, and they're not friends," said spokeswoman Raymone Bain.

Nee joh, echt?quote:Recent tour details released by PR Inside have been put down as a hoax according to the King of Pop's general manager Raymone Bain. Details released yesterday claimed the singer would tour in 2007, given details of venues, dates and management contact details.

Michael Jackson made a rare public appearance at James Brown's funeral today (December 30).
The singer paid a special tribute to the Godfather Of Soul as civil rights leaders, fans and a host of stars turned out to pay their respects in front of 8,500 mourners at the James Brown Arena in Augusta, Georgia.
Speaking onstage Jackson described the legendary showman as his "greatest inspiration" and he told the crowd how his mother would wake him up to watch Brown on TV.
"Ever since I was a small child - no more than six-years-old - my mother would wake me no matter what time it was to watch the television to see the master at work," he said. "Every time I saw him move I was mesmerized. I've never seen a performer like JB and right then and there, I knew that was exactly what I wanted to do with my life. James Brown, I shall miss you and I love you so much. Thank you for everything."
Jackson, who was greeted with huge cheers when he arrived at the funeral, spoke as Brown lay in an open top gold coffin in his third outfit - a black suit and gloves, red shirt and sequined shoes - in three days.
Earlier, the singer was invited to take to the stage for a version of 'Sex Machine' but he decided to stay seated. Sat at the front of the stage Jackson also leaned forward to kiss Brown's forehead before he returned to his seat.

quote:During the service Al Sharpton states that his last conversation with Dr. James Brown was that James asked if Michael was back in the US and told Al to tell MJ to come back home to the US and not to be afraid to come back. In other words, don't be afraid to face the critics, media. Basically, no matter what MJ does the media and the public will do everything in their power do degrade him to the lowest degree. But I hope MJ stands tall and not be afraid to face them, because he should expect the negativity from the media being the famous man that he is. Dr, James Brown went through a lot with the media criticizing him over the years trying to find everything negative against him, but he stood stron and proud and proved his legacy.
Mr. Bobby, Dr. Brown's friend mentioned that Dr. James Brown told him that he had a lot of work to do with MJ and Prince, it's apparent Dr. James Brown saw these 2 like his Godsons. I hope they both keep the music alive for Dr. Brown.
