Ghost in the Shell is daarnaast een zeer interessante en doordachte kijk op de ontologie van de mens. Hiernaast is de soundtrack fenomenaal en de animatie baanbrekend.
Hoe kun je deze nu af doen als kinderfilms? Alleen omdat het tekenfilms zijn?

Die kinderfilmopmerking ging enkel over Spirited Away. En daar blijf ik bij. Ik vind het allemaal van het niveau van Sneeuwwitje of Pinokkio. Niet dat daar iets mis mee is, maar naar mijn mening heeft het wel dezelfde doelgroep. En ik vind het énorm onsamenhangend en de inventieve personages met backstory heb ik hélemaal niet opgemerkt.
