Even ordinair crosspost, nadat ik een proefrit op de Suzuki Hayabusa heb gehad:
In 1 woord: waanzinnig.
In meerdere woorden: ongekend hoeveel vermogen je tussen je benen hebt, maar dat de motor zich heel soepel en netjes laat bedienen. Voor de proefrit was de motorstand op C gezet (het laagste) en tijdens de rit heb ik dat naar B (het normale) opgeschaald.
De houding was even wennen en ik had wat pijn in mijn armen en handen, maar dat trok snel weg (en ik heb net nieuwe handschoenen, die zijn ook nog niet helemaal soepel). De wegen binnendoor waren prima, lekker soepel de bochten door, heerlijk.
Op de snelweg heel beheerst gereden, maar zodra je het gas even wat meer opentrekt zit je echt heel snel op, wel, snelheid
Nog geen seconde van 80 naar 140, zó sterk, en dat dus in stand B. Echt, het is een staaltje techniek, heerlijk.
A.s. dinsdag heb ik een afspraak bij de dealer waar ik hem wil gaan halen. Dan gaan we kijken wat mijn oude motor nog waard is en wat de volgende stappen zijn.
