Nah, dat er iets binnen Rusland gaat gebeuren qua oproer is inderdaad wishfull thinking. Maar als die man meer en meer onder druk komt op zijn zwakke plek (ego) zal die met een beetje geluk meer en meer domme fouten en keuzes maken. En die gaan hem eerder nekken dan een volk dat in opstand komt.quote:

En Oekraine is niet Angola of Eritrea, hun wapenindustrie is sterk genoeg om rusland jaren bezig te houden.
Is Duitsland Oekraïne alweer binnengevallen?

Nog zo'n 250km2 en Oekraine heeft meer land gepakt dan Rusland over 2023 (500-600km2) en 2024 (800km2) bij elkaar.
Natuurlijk wil dat niet zeggen dat zij dit ook allemaal kunnen behouden. Maar het zegt wel veel. En het is een mooi doel om dat te behalen. Al moet dat niet ten koste van alles gaan gebeuren natuurlijk.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Air Defence Forces destroyed eight Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones over the territory of Kherson region.

It has been reported that North Korean authorities have been forcibly enlisting young workers who are just starting out in their careers due to a shortage of recruits following the spring draft. As young workers are suddenly being drafted, problems such as a shortage of workers in factories, farms, and mines are also cropping up in a chain reaction.
According to Daily NK's Chagang Province source on the 14th, 'social entry workers' in their early 20s who had graduated from high school and were assigned to work in factories, farms, and mines were suddenly drafted early last month.
Normally, it is common for men to work in society for 4-5 years and then enlist in the military in their mid-20s, but sources say that this measure has resulted in young men who have not even graduated from high school for a year now enlisting in the military.
Natuurlijk is het een beetje ver gezocht. Maar in juni hebben Rusland en Noord-Korea een defensiepact getekend waarin zij beloofden elkaar te ondersteunen wanneer een van hun landen aangevallen zou worden. De invasie van Oekraïne zou prima uitgelegd kunnen worden als zo'n aanval (volgens Putin in elk geval). In 2022, he was the commander of the Joint Forces Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the commander of the operational-tactical grouping in the east, and previously served as the Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander of the Eastern Operational Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

Another source with knowledge of Russian intelligence said that reconnaissance and assault troops stood the most to gain by dressing as civilians, but that this created greater risks for the civilian population, whom the AFU could mistake for Russian forces.
The Russian Investigative Committee said on Monday that it was investigating “AFU attacks on civilians and civilian objects” in the Kursk region, while Readovka published footage on 8 August showing what it said were civilians coming under AFU fire in the Kursk region town of Sudzha.
