At the Eurosatory 2024 defense exhibition in Paris, Ukrainian companies presented samples and prototypes of their products and signed a number of agreements with European defense companies. The Minister of Strategic Industries said that the state-owned company Ukroboronprom signed five agreements.
The state enterprise has signed a memorandum with the French company Thales to establish a joint venture in Ukraine that will repair and modernize equipment for electronic warfare, communications, air defense systems, and radars.
The second agreement, also with Thales, concerns the French side’s intention to establish a service center in Ukraine to maintain and test electronic warfare equipment and radars.
Ukraine is currently actively using the company’s Ground Master 200 radars, both independently and as part of more complex airspace control systems such as ControlMaster 200. In addition, Thales is also one of the developers of the SAMP/T air defense system.

Marines from the 36th Separate Marine Brigade have cleared captured enemy trenches in the Kharkiv region.
The press service of the 36th Brigade published the video of the incident.
The drone footage shows how the military, in close cooperation with aerial reconnaissance, is clearing enemy trenches.
Before that, the drones were dropping bombs on the Russian military to drive them out of their positions.

Al zie ik wel dat er in het artikel staat dat dit om landen gaat die wachten op de levering van deze systemen/raketten. Terwijl dit mogelijk niet op de landen die al toegezegd hebben deze te leveren van toepassing is. Dus het zou kunnen dat die nog prioriteit krijgen.

The Norwegian company Kongsberg has opened a plant for the production of Joint Strike Missile (JSM) and Naval Strike Missile (NSM).

The new plant is located in Kongsberg, Norway, where the company will produce JSM and NSM through a large package of export orders.
The new missile factory was officially opened by Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry Cecilie Myrseth at a ceremony, together with State Secretary Anne Marie Aanerud of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence and representatives from the NSM and JSM user nations.

De president van Roemeni/Roemeni heeft zijn steun betuigd aan de kandidaatschap van Rutte en heeft zich nu ook officieel terug getrokken voor zijn kandidaatschap als Secretaris-generaal van de NAVO. Outgoing Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte is now set to take over as secretary general of Nato, following the withdrawal of Romania’s candidate Klaus Iohannis.
Iohannis told a press conference on Thursday that he was pulling out of the race, removing the last obstacle to Rutte’s appointment. Nato ambassadors are expected to formally announce the move next week.
There is no formal procedure for naming the secretary general but all 32 members must agree. Earlier this week both Slovakia and Hungary said they had no objections. Rutte had been the US favoured choice for months.
Rutte will be the fourth Dutch leader of Nato, following Dirk Stikker (1961-1964), Joseph Luns (1971-1984) and Jaap de Hoop Scheffer (2004-2009).
Outgoing secretary general Jens Stoltenberg told a meeting in Canada on Wednesday that Rutte is a “great man” who “strongly believes in the transatlantic bond”.
“He’s a friend and colleague, Stoltenberg said. “So Nato will be very good hands, given that Mark Rutte is going to be the next secretary general.”

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stre announced at the final session of the Peace Summit in Switzerland on Sunday that Norway will also help Kharkiv restore its energy infrastructure.
In addition, Ukraine will receive more than $1 billion for the energy sector from G7+ partners, which includes more than 70 million in new grant contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.
Ukraine will also get $500 million of new financing from the United States to support the energy sector, 300 million of additional financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and at least $47 million as an additional grant from the World Bank and humanitarian aid from EU member states.
