Watergekoelde Maxim heb je nooit last van een oververhitte loop. Bij een MG42 oid. moet je na een korte tijd je oververhitte loop verwisselen. Zo'n watergekoeld stuk antiek heeft zijn voordelen, in stationaire opstelling.quote:
