I think that a lot of people in the West, including journalists, simply do not think about it this way. It’s like in a chess game when you fail to foresee, not your adversary’s next step, but the one that comes after that.

Ik kan me voorstellen dat Oekraïne het spoor gerepareerd laat worden. Met hooguit af en toe een HIMARS op de reparatieteams om hun enthousiasme en tempo te minderen. Maar uiteindelijk laten ze wel een goederentrein door. Die dan met wat precisiewapens weer tot een partij brandend Russisch schroot op de rails gereduceerd gaat worden. Schroot dat eerst verwijderd zal moeten worden.quote:

Toch denk ik dat ze het nu zat zijn en vrede willen zowel Lukashenko die de bescherming van China wel een goed plan vind voor ie zelf het raam uit gaat

Opmerkelijk. Willen de landen nou unaniem dat Oekraïne echt wint of vooral dat Oekraïne niet nog veel meer land verliest dan Rusland al bezet? Want tussen het een en het ander zit een groot verschil.quote:

Dit is niet het probleem voor Rusland, de olieprijs schommelt altijd. Het werkelijke punt is het prijsverschil tussen Ural en Brent crude dat gedurende het vorige jaar is toegenomen. Momenteel ligt dit verschil boven de 30 dollar per vat.quote:

Zodra de trein met materiaal de eerste reparatie heeft gedaan schiet je de trein met de werklui en al kapot. Tungsten schiet dwars door de locomotief heen. Die mag je dan eerst gaan weghalen voor je opnieuw begint op die plek met de volgende reparatietrein. .quote:
