De bestorming van het Capitool had voorkomen kunnen worden als de Republikeinnen hun plicht in de Senaat hadden gedaan en Trump hadden afgezet. Ik vraag me wel af of hij uiteindelijk werkelijk nog een tweede keer voor het presidentschap gaat of dat het een manier is om zijn aanhang geinteresseerd te houden en Trump zelf dat kan gebruiken om donaties te innen/ als verdienmodel voor zijn resorts.

Tsja dit zeggen is dan ook niet strafbaar. Als Trump letterlijk tot geweld had oproepen was hij wel strafbaar geweest, dat wist hij dondersgoed en daar was hij ook uitgebreid voor gewaarschuwd door zijn officials. Sterker nog de hele toespraak was hem afgeraden, hij liep het risico verantwoordelijk te worden gehouden voor de eventuele gevolgen. Trump deed het natuurlijk toch en dus is het helemaal niet zo gek dat er voor de zekerheid het woordje 'peacefully' in verwerkt werd. Daar kan hij dan altijd op terugvallen en zijn aanhang begreep toch wel wat de bedoeling was zoals dus ook bleek uit de berichten op social media.quote:

Hij loopt een half jaar lang ongefundeerde claims rond te bazuinen, ramt regelmatig zijn Twitter vol met tantrums die nergens op slaan, negeert COVID-19 keihard tot het niet meer anders kan, env ga zo maar door - wat wou hij daar allemaal mee bereiken?quote:

Hier ga je dus nogal de mist in met je logica - omdat het een achterlijk idee is, kan het niet Trumpie's doel geweest zijn? De enige interpretatie van zijn woorden die bizar is, is de jouwe.
