Ze kunnen wel mensen op de been brengen, maar voor stemmen ronselen? Nee dat gaan ze niet doen. Want ze voelen zich ook door de Democraten al tijden in de steek gelaten.
Hoe ze dan uberhaupt verandering willen bewerkstelligen weet ik ook niet, want wie moet dat gaan doen. Je kan wel blijven roepen vanaf de zijlijn, maar op een gegeven moment moet je zelf de uitvoerende partij worden anders wordt het niets.
Biden krijgt de oudere generatie die dat begrepen heeft wel op de been. Maar die jongere generatie die ook met Sanders wegliep, die blijft bij het stemmen nog steeds weg, terwijl ze onderhand 1 van de grootste stemmersblokken zouden zijn.
En dat klinkt dan allemaal als een verhaal van een oudje, maar ik ben nog steeds een millenial.Met een bord boven je hoofd lopen voor een idee is immedeacy, dat is lekker. Een paar dagen achter je computer zitten om uit te zoeken op wie je nou precies moet stemmen om je stem gehoord te krijgen en daarna misschien wel op je tweede of derde keus te stemmen is een stuk minder sexy en leuk.
Terwijl als je kijkt naar de impact van AOC, haar voorganger was niet slecht, veilige blauwe zetel, een tegenkandidaat was een republikein die zich inschreef als democraat om een kans te maken, dan zie je hoeveel impact 1 kandidaat van jou overtuiging kan hebben. Probeer er daarmee van te krijgen, maar dan moet je wel stemmen. Je kan wel blijven protesteren en roepen dat niemand naar je luistert, maar dan blijf je roepen.
