Weer eens een geval van overdreven politiegeweld bij de aanhouding van een zwarte man. Minutenlang met een knie op de nek van de geboeide man zitten terwijl hij aangeeft niet te kunnen ademen. Omstanders filmen en protesteren maar er wordt niets gedaan. De man overlijdt als gevolg daarvan.

Blijft opvallend hoe keer op keer dit soort dingen gebeuren in de VS, voorbeelden te over. Er is daar iets goed mis. Agenten die er soms op lijken te geilen om zoiets te kunnen doen. Zoals die man die in een hotelgang in Las Vegas werd dood geschoten door een agent, één van de meest bijblijvende dingen die ik ooit gezien heb. () Of Sandra Bland die voor iets simpels werd aangehouden op de snelweg, waarbij de agent constant de situatie escaleerde. En later dood in de cel werd gevonden.
