Verder blijft het 'haters gonna hate'. Als je de leugens gaat censureren dan neem je de kijker niet serieus. Het censureren heeft daarom geen zin. Fox pakt het b.v. best goed aan, door als zender op het rechtse spectrum te weten dat ze nu bakboord moeten sturen om relevant te blijven met gedegen kritische journalistiek voorop en niet het propaganda speeltuig van een aanstaande dictatuur te worden. Het is een beetje een tweestrijd daar tussen News en de opiniekant, maar ze verdienen het krediet.
In Turkije heeft de staat alle relevante media outlets overgenomen en Trump is op dezelfde manier aan het vingerwijzen als Erdogan voor de overnames plaatsvonden.
Als Trump een veto krijgt van de Senaat en zonder kleerscheuren door volledige afzetting aan de verkiezingen deel kan nemen dan heeft hij in de basis vrij spel om te doen wat hij wil en zou ik me als journalist ernstige zorgen gaan maken.
Daarom is deze periode 'voor' de verkiezingen en de onzekerheid ook een grotere cliffhanger dan wanneer Trump straks voor de finish staat van de herverkiezing.
