Wat minder spannend dan dat hij het zou doen om de aankomende blue wave ongeldig te verklaren, maar nog steeds opvallend.
Ik bedoel vooral verrassend dat er toplobbyisten zijn voor stemmachinefabrikanten. Wat een eindtijdkapitalisme toch, en stel je voor dat je gezien wordt als een middelmatige lobbyist voor een kleine stemmachinefabrikant, wat een leven. Dat McConnell een corrupte verrader is en het precies die swamp waartegen Trump zou strijden is die hem in het zadel houdt terwijl hij het verder uitbreid, dat mag nauwelijks meer een verrassing heten.
