Dan zou het dus logisch zijn om te proberen anderen te overtuigen. Ik snap dat je als gelovige wil preken, het goede woord vertellen of zoals jij het hier noemt de waarheid. Het is gevaarlijk om Trump als dictator te brandmerken. Dat is hij eigenlijk niet, hij is wel iemand die de publieke opinie nodig heeft (en dan vooral van zijn fanatieke achterban) om zijn fouten en zijn merkwaardige gedrag zo voordelig mogelijk te presenteren. In deze achterban verstoppen zich daartegen elementen die het niet zo nauw nemen met de democratie. Je kunt zien aan de houding van Trump tov. latijns-amerikanen, dat hij hier probeert om die achterban-stemmen op alle mogelijke manieren vast te houden, want daar houdt hij ze wel even mee tevreden. Je kunt dit niet zo zeer opvatten als dictatoriaal gedrag, meer als pure angst dat hij zijn achterban verliest. Trump heeft niet de middelen die dictators tot hun beschikking hebben. gelukkig niet.
