Verder lijkt het erop dat de diehard Trump-clan aan de winnende hand is in het Witte Huis. Scaramucci is een favoriet van Kushner, Ivanka Trump en iedereen die Trump al jaren steunt. Steve Bannon maakt zich vooral druk om de Breitbart-agenda, en Spicer is eigenlijk afkomstig van de traditionele conservatieve GOP-club uit Washington DC.
Het Witte Huis wordt gewoon een familiebedrijfje.
Inhoudelijk zal er verder niks veranderen. Trump zal niet veranderen. Hij krijgt alleen steeds meer ja-knikkers om zich heen.

I will not join the chorus of people congratulating Sean Spicer on his resignation. For 6 months, he humiliated the intelligence of the American people, our global reputation, and himself with endless lies, deflections, and attacks on freedom of the press. That he finally developed a shred of integrity by quitting Team Trump does not make him an upstanding person. It means that when you befriend a poisonous snake, you eventually get bitten.
