Update: Major Crimes‘ fifth season order is for 13 episodes, not a scant 10 as listed in TNT’s press release.
Major Crimes is heading for a holiday hiatus after its Dec. 21 outing, then will resume Season 4 in February with a five-episode “bonus” arc (bringing this season’s tally to 23).
TNT has also picked up The Librarians for third 10-episode season. The fantastical drama airs its sophomore finale on Sunday, Dec. 27.
Last month, TNT gave a Season 3 order to Murder in the First.

SundanceTV announced Friday that the upcoming fourth season of its drama Rectify will be the show’s last.

“Rectify is in many ways an existential story that was allowed to come to life during an existential era in serial storytelling,” creator Ray McKinnon said in a statement. “It was a case of perfect timing with the perfect partners. I have always felt that Rectify could end at any time or just as easily continue. Well, not easily. But there no perfect ‘end’ for this story nor for these characters. They will continue to live on. We just won’t document them any longer. And the timing of this ‘non-end’ end feels exactly right.”

Dat was een interview met een van de makers over zijn ideeën voor een 3e seizoen. Er is bij mijn weten nooit gezegd dat een derde seizoen er ook daadwerkelijk zou komen.quote:

Netflix announced on Friday morning that it has renewed its Emmy-winning prison drama Orange Is the New Black for three additional seasons, extending its run through at least Season 7.
“Jenji and her team have produced a phenomenal and impactful series that is both funny and dramatic, outrageous and heartfelt,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix. “Audiences around the world have come to love the ladies and men of Orange is the New Black, and we are eager to see where three more seasons will take them.”
The hour-long series, which boasts an ensemble including Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Kate Mulgrew and Laura Prepon, returns for Season 4 on Friday, June 17.
