Ukraine's Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn said Tuesday that energy-rich Russia had recently also stopped supplying electricity to the militia-run regions of Lugansk and Donetsk because bills were not being paid.

"We held fairly productive negotiations with the Russians," Interfax-Ukraine quoted Demchyshyn as telling an energy ministry meeting.

"We have been able to switch off four lines that ran from Russia to territories outside our control."

“These properties will be included in the first wave of privatizations,” Abromavicius told reporters.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said 150 chief executives had promised to visit the Washington roadshow.

Yatsenyuk is expected to promote the potential returns of acquiring chunks of struggling electricity companies and an outdated port-side plant in Odessa — the Black Sea region now governed by former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.

But economists and some of Yatsenyuk’s own allies warn that this may be a terrible time for Ukraine to part with some of its largest holdings.

The economy shrank by 17.2 percent in the first three months of the year compared to the same period in 2014. Property values are collapsing and the unpredictability of the ongoing war turns standard economic forecasting into an very imprecise science.

Kiev’s SigmaBleyzer venture capital firm reported a private investment decline in this year’s first quarter of 25.1 percent.

The Ukrainian government seems undeterred by the data and intends to see $500 million (¤450 million) raised by the sale of the Odessa port plant alone.

Brothers Alexei and Yuri Miroshnichenko, the first serving with the Ukrainian foreign intelligence service (SZRU) and the latter at the Ukrainian embassy in France, also moved to Lugansk in June, owing their transition to them being “unable to tolerate the strangle of traitors, foreign security service agents, fascists and nationalists in the government,” according to Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Een deel van Moldavie behoorde voorheen tot Groot-Roemenie, echter Roemenie is gestraft vanwege collaboratie met de Duitse nazi's en heeft een deel van haar territorium verloren.
Het huidige Pidnestrovija was echter nooit deel van Roemenie. De mensen die daar wonen zijn overwegend Russisch en velen hebben een Russisch paspoort, zij weten hoe zeer Russen worden gediscrimineerd in de EU en willen ook geen genetisch gemodificeerd voedsel consumeren of leven in het ultra-kapitalistische EU, waar elk sociaal beleid de kop wordt ingedrukt (zie het Griekse drama).

Het huidige Moldavie is teveel gerussificeerd om tot het maffe Roemenie te kunnen behoren. Russisch is trouwens een wereldtaal en Roemeens is totaal onbelangrijk, logisch dat velen weigeren dit spraakgebrek (Roemeens) te leren.
Zelfs het Roemeens dat door sommigen in Moldavie wordt gesproken is anders dan het Roemeens van Bucharest.
